Escape to Goldies Hideaway

Goldie's Hideaway Cabin has the mountain view you've been looking for. This 2 story log cabin has a row of Rocking chairs on the front porch to enjoy the beautiful mountain views that spread out below. At the opposite end of the porch, stairs lead to the side yard where you can slip into the secluded outdoor hot tub with mountain views to wind down.

Entry is from the porch into the dining area. The dining table seats 6 in front of a series of windows filled with beautiful mountain views. To the right of the front door is the breakfast bar with seating for 4 more guests. The fully equipped kitchen has all dining and cooking utensils needed to prepare a family meal including a dishwasher to help with the clean up. Around the corner from the kitchen is the master bedroom on the entry level. This bedroom features a king size bed & TV. A full bath is just across the hall from this bedroom. Across from the dining area is the open living room where leather furnishing and mountain views surround the wood burning stone fireplace.

Stairs to the upper level are in the living room. The stairs end at a open loft entertainment space. An air hockey table and Wii video game will help keep the kids busy. Make sure to bring their favorite games or DVD movies. Two more bedrooms are also on the upper level. The first has a queen size bed & TV and the second "kids room" has a twin over full bed bunk, and two separate twin beds and a Xbox 360 game system. A full bathroom with tub and shower combination is in the hall between these two bedrooms.

The road to the cabin is gravel and steep in parts with a number of switchbacks. Novice flatlanders might find it difficult but it is accessible with a front wheel drive vehicle piloted by an aggressive or experienced driver. An All-Wheel or 4 Wheel Drive vehicle is recommended for the timid. An after dark arrival on your check-in day is not recommended

Nearby the cabin: Eventually you will want to venture out away from the mountain paradise that is Goldie's Hideaway Cabin. When you do, you will find the quaint downtown area of Bryson City with its Train Station, variety of shopping and restaurants just a couple of miles down the mountain. If you want to go rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, boating or zip lining, they are all within a dozen miles of Goldie's Hideaway Cabin.
