'Wind River' se encuentra en la localidad costera de Edgecomb otro lado del puente de Wiscasset. Situado en más de 5 hectáreas privadas y arboladas con 400 pies sobre el río Sheepscot. Un muelle de aguas profundas espera el navegante ávido. 'Wind River' es ideal para viajes cortos a la Región Boothbay, Damariscotta, Camden y Faro de Pemaquid. Esta casa es de madera-construcción y situado en una percha con vistas panorámicas al río Sheepscot y Westport Island. Nice house, very clean, with beautiful views. The "double futon" bedroom is open to the living area and the "small second floor bedroom" is very small. This was not a problem for us, but it's something renters should be aware of.

This property was perfect… it exceeded our expectations… there were bedroom AC units which we didn’t expect but were appreciated. There were plenty of kitchen things to help with preparing meals at home and comfortable beds and bedrooms. The only challenge was the approach to the dock which meant that we spent less time on the water than I might have otherwise… but that being said, the views from the deck were delightful and the convenience of Edgecomb to Portland airport was worthwhile also.

Great relaxing weekend!

House is great! Very clean and spacious. Sat on the deck every day and just watched boats go by. Went down to the dock a few times and did some fishing. The stairs to the dock are VERY slippery when wet so be careful but everything was great!

Relaxing, perfect base for mid coast Maine

Relaxing family trip. Great base to easily get to boothbay harbor, wiscasset, barh/Brunswick, beaches, etc. Plenty of room and separate spaces for kids or multiple couples.

Family Getaway

We stayed at Ralph's with our extended family ranging from 1 - 60 years old. His home was a wonderful place for us to play games, watch movies, and enjoy the view.

Our family enjoyed staying at this 5-bedroom home in Edgecomb, Maine. This property has beautiful views of the water and there’s access to walk down to the dock. Two of the bedrooms on the top floor have en-suite bathrooms. There was plenty of room in this house for our family. We enjoyed the finished basement family room with the big TV. All was great, except we had an issue with the basement toilet. Other than that, we were very happy with this property and the owner was very nice.

Lovely home

Lovely and comfortable home with everything that you need for a great stay! Views of the river. We even saw a bald eagle or two across the way. Host was responsive and helpful.

Great place but trust the reviews about the walk down to the water!

Our stay at the place was very good and it fit us all very comfortably. My only suggestion mimics other reviews in that believe us when we say the walk down to the water is a little sketchy.

Beautiful Home in an Amazing Setting

The house was just as described. The owner was easy to speak with us and helped us out when our son left some items in the bathroom by mailing them to us. We really liked all the separate spaces, the ice machine, the whole house water filtration system, the location, the water access, and the AC. We will be staying here again.

More than advertised

We could sit on the deck and watch Lobster boats lobstering, a large yacht sail up and down the inlet/river, and a bald eagle on a tree branch or "fishing". Splendid location, scenery, and property!

Wonderful stay!

Property is very nice and clean. Just like going back to home. We also enjoyed the dock, even it took some effort going down and up, but it is a good excise. We had great time staying this property. There is plenty rooms for different purposes. In the morning, we got together in the sunroom singing and praying so that we don't disturb kids' sleeping. We enjoyed our stay hope will go back in the future.

Relaxing vacation

Such a comfortable home. Well equipped and lots of room for a family. Very peaceful and quite. Perfect place to just chill and enjoy family. (Plenty of places to go and things to do if you wish). Property manager was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend the home.

Stay was decent. The heat shut off in middle of night leaving it freezing in morn. There was no salt or sand at drip lines of house making it dangerous for those unsteady on feet. All in all decent stay

Hurricane Weekend

We had a great time at this spacious property - lots of places to gather- especially the porch overlooking the river. And best of all - a whole-house generator that came on as soon as the power went out for Hurricane Lee. The owner was kind with answers to all our questions.

I moved to midcoast Maine over 30 years ago from Southern California , raised my family and started a successful business. The business was sold in 2014. One of my passions is traveling. During my travels I always try to stay in VRBO homes. And I've tried to incorporate into this beautiful property many of the features I've seen in other homes . Maine summers are filled with many activities and I rarely leave Maine in the summer because it is the place to be.

As you approach the property you drive down the tree lined Cross Point Drive with the expanse of the Sheepscot River to your right. You make a right turn on River Wind Lane and follow the winding driveway to the house. This fine property in its very private 5 acre setting is what Maine is all about and is as good as it gets.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The house sets on a perch above the grand Sheepscot River with stunning views from throughout the house. Inside the Post and Beam construction blends well with the array of windows. The full and ,private deck overlooking the river is always a cool (yet sunny) pleasant place to relax.
