Great beach and location

The property was very well kept. The location to restaurants and grocery stores was very good and in walking distance. Building security was good. The beach and pool area well maintained. Enjoyed the view and large balcony and amenities in the unit.

Pleasant stay

Overall, everything met our needs to enjoy the beach, pool, sites to see and shopping. Only drawback, the 2nd bedroom is affected by noise from the street and bar / weekend bands in strip mall directly across from the condo.

Overall the trip was great had some minor issues with original cleanliness but the owners addressed it immediately. Location was amazing and ITrip was very good and correcting any issues we had with promptness and professionalism. I would definitely stay again. One downside was the furniture in the dining area table is glass and chairs are metal with seat cushions a bit dangerous for children but again overall they trip was great!

We stayed from 2/15/23 to 3/15/23. Perfect location. Nicely updated. Responsive property managers. Great views, sunsets, and easy beach access. Quiet, well maintained, building. Only upgrades that we would suggest is better sheets and towels, they were not up to the quality of the unit. Living room TV is also a bit dated and a sound bar would be nice.

Clean, comfortable unit. Everything worked except the second bedroom light/fan. Didn't need it. Microwave died, itrip had it fixed right away. Wish the TV was bigger, and that they had a kuereg, but nothing to subtract stars for. Excellent place, great service from itrip.

Wasn't,t impressed with the service from maintenance and I trip.

The water was shut off for 7 hrs and I phoned and send e mails and no one knew the reason .T he beds in the spare room are so hard a dog wouldn't sleep on them.The patio doors are very hard to open.I was told by the maintenance man he would be ther in ten mins to fix the stove five hrs after I had to callback he still didn,t arrive.I will not return to ocean sands again.

Re: sliders, and the beds we will check on those items. Guest can contact our maintenance line 24/7 with issues and one of our team most always responds promptly. Condo was ok

I have stay in several condos in the area and this one has a great view friendly people and a very safe environment. The condo did have issues with lights being out and under beds were not cleaned because when we look under beds to check if kids left anything there was candy and popcorn that had been there a long time. It had furniture that was not kid friendly with glass everywhere. Beds were not comfortable and garbage disposal did not work. I would have called office to repair these things but then I have people coming to the room when I am not there to make repairs and I am not comfortable with that. I like that you needed a key for every way in and out of complex but room really needs two keys because if anyone was going to room or pool no one else could do anything until they came back. Overall a great view and close to John’s pass. Dining Bubba Gump Shrimp and crabby jacks is 5 out of 5 stars for food. I will not rent this condo again because other rooms in same complex are much better for price.

A great two week vacation

We just finished two weeks at Ocean Sands and we really enjoyed our stay. The property has been completely updated and it is a very clean unit. We had a couple of questions at check-in and the owner was very responsive and immediately answered our questions. The location is great, you have a view of the beach from your balcony and you are in walking distance to restaurants, shops and a grocery store. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone wanting to stay at Madeira Beach.

The condo needs a deep cleaning. The silverware and utensils drawers need to be emptied and cleaned

The condo needed a deep cleaning in kitchen. All storage was dirty. I had to request new sheets. They were old and balls from being old or washed with towels. The condo was a great location.

Love this place

MadBeach is everytime the best place to stay. We enjoyed the stay in the beautiful apartment. Everything was fine. The view is absolutly great. Everyday you can enjoy dolphins swiming across the beach.

To start off with, the 1st day which was a saturday. We noticed we did not have any fobs to let us in and out of the beach. We were not sure to notify, finally we got a hold of someone, Who I will admit got there relatively quick. But, he said he had to borrow a fob from someone else. We should have had two. And we only got one, which is better than nothing. But, still inconvenient when you all have to go at the same time to either the beach or the pool. Also, there were so many things in the Condo. that were broken are not working properly. KITCHEN: garbage disposal not working at all. Not any non-stick pans and very limited with the ones they did have. LIVING ROOM: Lamp shade is old and cracking with a hole in it. Sofa bed mattress has stains on it. There is no clock anywhere in the living room. MASTER BEDROOM: Where is the dresser mirror? Door jam had been pried open previously and screw from the door was loose. Curtains do not close all the way. Furniture is of poor quality. Master bathroom, is outdated, loos like the 80's. maybe 70's AND the toilet overflows. Ugly bathroom. SECOND BEDROOM: Broken wheel on bed next to the door. both twin beds were uncomfortable a drawers to the dresser a hard to pull out. Furniture is worse quality than the Master Bedroom. Looks like it has been there since the 60'S OR 70's bedspreads and curtains do even match. Also, the dooris difficult to open once it is shut, so you have to leave it open. Furthermore, there are NO SCREENS on the Kitchen and Bedroom window, they very dirty also. Sliding glass door screech loudly when opening & closing. Doors were very dirty. Verandah chairs and tables were plastic & very cheap. Finally, ALL GENERAL DECOR is old and out of style. and meagerly furnished. All living room, tables dirty. Cleaning very poor.

We just arrived a day ago and had difficulty with the WiFi as provided with the check in, but this morning we were visited by Brian with the new user name and password that solved the problem with the change over to spectrum. I measure how organizations handle problems,we all have them and itrip does a gemreat ,sincere job.

The view was perfect. We saw dolphins in the water from our balcony, as well as pelicans daily fishing. The location was central to other beaches, restaurants and activities. Grocery store one block away. The pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable.

Let's start with the positive.

Let's start with the positive. Great view and location relative to the gulf. Now for everything else. Location indicates it sleeps 6, which it does, but we could not find the bedding for the pull out bed. Our reservation was for 5. You would think that would indicate the need to use the pull out and have the bedding readily available. It was not. Very low water pressure and shower heads that should have been replaced long ago. Half of the plug ins we tried to use did not work. The stove top was locked and we could not use it. The bath tub in the master bedroom had hair in it. The owner / renter provided directions on how to unlock the unit for entry, but not on how to lock the unit when leaving. We were there 5 days before we figured out that every time we left, the door was not locking. Thankfully, nothing was stolen. If an owner is renting their location, they should provide instructions for anything out of the ordinary, or if something is not available to use (Stove top), that should be indicated as well. This was our first experience with a VRBO property. It may not be our last, but we will definitely make sure we question everything next time.

Condo had great views, good location, nice pool. Kitchen well equipped. Beach chairs and cooler provided. I would have given 5 stars but we were only provided with 1 key for access to the beach and pool, this was extremely inconvenient, since I was traveling with 2 other adults and we didn't want to schedule all our activities together. Wi-Fi was frustrating, had to reset several times a day.

Great vacation

I loved the view from balcony (almost every second day we could enjoy the swimming dolphins) . Great location, walking distance to grocery store, ice creams (important with kids), restaurants. Across the street is the place to rent kayaks. My family had great vacations
