Amazing in every way

This was absolutely perfect for our group of 5 women in an Italian getaway. The location was so much better than we even expected. The host was absolutely lovely and the place made us feel like we were living the life of Italian royalty. Can’t say enough good things about it.

An absolutely beautiful apartment in the perfect location! Beatrice was wonderfully attentive and made our stay easy and relaxing. My family and I couldn't get enough of the space. The painted ceilings, old spiral staircase and features of this classic building make for a truly one of a kind experience. Note: for the elderly or mobility impaired, getting to the two upstairs bedrooms could be a challenge, but it wasn't too much of a problem for us (ages 26-60). It's a classic Italian apartment in a beautiful building, and almost everything we wanted to do was no more than a 15 minute walk away! At the same time, our street was peaceful and never crowded, making the ideal balance for us. Plus, there's a wine window on our street, and a gorgeous cathedral right around the corner! We couldn't have asked for more! 10/10 life-changing experience!

Best Place to Stay in Florence

We had an amazing stay with my wife, three adult children and their respective boyfriends. The location could not have been better, walking distance to literally everything. The apartment itself... wow, we are still talking about it. I travel often for work and for leisure, and this is one of the best stays of my life.

Renaissance palace

Gorgeous property in the Santa Croce neighborhood- plenty of space, impressive artwork and features. Quiet location close to all the tourist destinations. My only complaint was that you did not have access to the garden, it is the owner’s private garden, and the VRBO description makes it seem part of your rental- a little disappointing. Overall an amazing property in a gorgeous, super safe setting- RECOMMEND!

An absolutely divine stay

Thank you sincerely for letting us stay in your gorgeous apartment. We stayed in 9 different places over four weeks in Italy and this was by far the best. There are many standouts - the location, the quiet, the safety, the atmosphere, but the beautiful architecture and lavish decoration was on top- plus the beds - they are so comfortable. When I come back to Florence, I would chose to stay here again above any other option. Thank you :)

Fabulous Stay in a Perfect Location

The palace is gorgeous and our hosts extremely gracious. Communication with them was prompt. The location was convenient to everything in the city, yet quiet when we returned from sightseeing each day. The apartment itself was spotless. Our hosts had a big bowl of fruit waiting for us. There is 1 bedroom on the main floor, and the remaining bedrooms up a spiral staircase. There is only 1 bathroom upstairs, so it’s possible that 4-6 people could be sharing. However, all in all an A+

Enjoyed the property; however, the only drawback was the steep winding staircase up to the rest of the bedrooms that are located upstairs. No hand rail and rather difficult for a senior to climb these stairs, If there was another way to access those bedrooms, we were not made aware. Check in book information helpful but we found some information to be outdated.

Beautiful Apartment!

This apartment is even more beautiful than the pictures. We traveled with our 3 adult boys and it was very nice to have so much beautiful space! There is a large dining room table for meals, the living room also has ample comfortable seating for many more than our group of 5. The kitchen is very well stocked, with everything you need to cook or more importantly make coffee in the morning. There is one bedroom downstairs and 3 upstairs. There is an elevator to the upstairs bedroom that is easy to use. (We only used it to bring our oversized luggage up, the stairs were easy for us to walk up and down) The location is superb, it is located on a quiet street just a few steps from Santa Croce. Just a 5 minute stroll to uffizi gallery and ponte vecchio bridge. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The owners checked in regularly via text to make sure everything was to our liking and were very responsive and even met us when we arrived. They provide a book with recommendations, and respond very quickly to any questions that we had. We made good use off the washing and drying machine, and the full size iron and ironing board. The bathrooms we’re well stocked with towels, and toiletries, and a very powerful hairdryer! They apartment was well heated with controls easy to use, it also has air conditioners in each room, They owners even provided a usa electric strip for our use, such very thoughtful hosts. We hope this beautiful apartment is available during our next stay!!

This apartment was perfect for our family trip! The location was perfect to the bridge, food, and local markets. The rooms were all very comfortable with nice linens. Wonderful Stay!

This home is in an excellent location. It had so many fun elements as you see in the pictures. It was clean and the air conditioning was very good. I was concerned about that because I get hot at night, but there were no issues. The owners were friendly, flexible, and responsive. Overall, a wonderful choice for our Florence visit!

Luxury all around! WAY better than expected!

We spent 2 weeks here with our adult children and their partners (8 of us) visiting our daughter who was studying abroad here in Florence, it was absolutely amazing! Everyone had a bed, 2 full bathrooms, extra large kitchen/dining area, plenty of room for all of us. The host was available for anything and everything we needed. NO complaints at all whatsoever…worth every dime

Great beautiful place!

The place has tons of room, and is uniquely designed. We were a family of 7 with 4 adults. It was a nice stay for 9 days. Cosmo and his family were hospitable and provided great instructions/communications. I would recommend this place if you're staying in Florence. Quiet place east of all the activities.

I grew up in this apartment, my mom still live next door in the other part. My parents were art gallery owners, they have always loved being surrounded by art and antiques, and the apartment has been left exactly as it was when we lived there, full of amazing furniture and pieces of art. If you want to experience the feeling of a real home, furnished to live in, not to rent... well, this is the place.

The benefits of this place are many and I could boast them all, but I prefer to let you discover them by reading what one of our previous guests said about us, what better than a real experience?
"The apartment is stunning, including magnificent ceiling frescoes from the 16th century in the first floor bedroom. She gave us a complete tour of what was her childhood home, still owned by her and her family, of the place.
The location of the apartment really couldn't be better. It's a stone's throw from the Santa Croce Basilica, which is one of the most beautiful churches in Florence. It's also a very short walk to the Duomo, Uffizi and other piazzas of interest, as well as the Ponte Vecchio.
The apartment is truly unique, as it is built up around the core living room with vaulted ceilings (that was the old arms room of a 600 year old palace). The spiral stairs are truly one of a kind, and while maybe not appropriate for young children or elderly guests, make staying at this apartment feel like living in Renaissance Florence from the days of old.
However, don't let the authentic experience make you think that you'll be faced with medieval amenities; the apartment is fully upgraded where it counts in the kitchen and bathroom, and the beds were very comfortable in all three bedroom areas."
