You can enjoy this large, gated, luxury waterfront executive condo overlooking a quiet Eco park, and do it at a great price! Don't pay those high prices for the Hi-rise condos. Stay with us for a lot less, and then visit them when you want, and save the difference. This is probably the best kept waterfront condo secret in Cape Coral.

Please BEFORE-BEFORE-BEFORE you try to reserve this unit.- READ the important information at the END of this property description and use the CONTACT HOST button BEFORE trying to reserve. The process will be much smoother that way. The condo association requires a 30 DAY MINIMUM BOOKING. We cannot accept reservations for less than 30 days. You can book for 30 days, but you can arrive later or depart earlier.

This luxury residence is located just a few minutes from the river with access to the Gulf of Mexico in SE Cape Coral, in a beautiful gated community. It is totally surrounded by direct access water and an Eco Park. You can relax and lounge on the patio or at the recreation center. You're close to the great restaurants, bars, the beach and all the fun Florida has to offer. And if you want some peace and quite just to relax- we have that too. This is the place to meet new friends, enjoy the sun, and make your Florida vacation one that you will never forget!

This large, luxury 1350+ square foot elevator equipped condo includes 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, gourmet style kitchen with eating nook, and great room for entertaining or just relaxing.

There's plenty of room to gather, relax, eat or visit at the large kitchen island.

You have great views of the canal and Cape Coral's Eco Park, which is directly across the canal. You can watch the birds, fish and other wild life right from the privacy of your 2nd floor condo. In the winter months you might even see manatees, stingrays and even a dolphin or two. A recent guest writes, "....By the way we saw: Bald Eagle, Wild Pig, Several Sea Turtles, Small Gator, and Manatee up to 7 at once and saw them many times. We really liked that." -You can't get that in a high-rise!

All kitchen appliances are included- perfect for the chef or daily food preparation.

The main bedroom features a queen size bed, a large walk-in closet, and a large deluxe shower and double sink.

Feel like socializing? This unit is just a short distance from the pool, hot tub, tennis courts that include pickle ball, and screen enclosed recreation area where lively conversation or privacy is totally up to you. The pool and enclosed recreation room are recently updated. There is NO sound from the pool area in this unit.

The pool is a large heated pool, with a heated hot tub, and plenty of space for sunbathing. The entire luxury gated community is surrounded on 3 sides by seawall and boardwalk. Salt water fishing is allowed on the paver walks that surround the community. You can also fish at the nearby Eco-park pier, but get your license first! There are plenty of redfish, snook, snapper, and mullet to be caught. And if you are a boat lover, you will be interested to know that they have been adding more boat slips and lifts around the seawalls since our canal photo was taken. The boats are privately owned but there are lots of boat rentals available in the area.

Next to the pool is the large screened recreation area, an open air gazebo, and 2 tennis courts including pickle ball. We even provide some basic fishing gear for our guests to have some fun. That area also has gas BBQ grills, and picnic tables.

Our sleeping accommodations include a Queen sized bed in the master bedroom, a Queen in bedroom #2, and (1) twin bed in bedroom #3. A complete laundry room is inside the unit. High ceilings and a large great room will make your Florida home one that you will remember.

Did we mention that the unit is constantly updated? We are always replacing and updating the technology, furniture and furnishings. TV services are provided by a generous Xfinity TV package to a large screen. There is a TV in the living area and master bedroom. You can access your own personal TV apps like Netflix, Prime, YouTube and others directly from the Xfinity remote. Be sure to bring your App passwords.

Need to work, or just stay connected while you Play ? If you need to get some work done or just keep up with your social networking while your away, our fully functional office will be all you need to keep connected. It includes a computer ( or use your laptop), high-speed cable Internet access with streaming options, high speed Wi-Fi, and an HP all-in-one for printing, faxes and copies. Can you believe it? Getting your daily work done while relaxing in sunny Florida.

RSW ( Fort Myers, Florida International ) airport is less than 30 hassle-free minutes away in nearby Fort Myers.

Our guest receive an number of informative guides via your email that will help you find the best restaurants, golf courses, fishing guides, boat rentals, night spots, beaches and much more. When you arrive, you will be ready to enjoying your vacation- beginning on the very first day.

There is important information you will need before you try to reserve. We respond promptly and you will not "lose your reservation priority".

All rentals require an application and short background check by the Condo Association. I will provide the information when you book, or email me in advance if you have any questions. The $175 application fee is not included in your reservation costs and is paid directly to the condo association. PLEASE SEND ME AN INQUIRY IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS BEFORE YOU SEND A RESERVATION REQUEST.

The Condo Association requires a minimum 30 day rental agreement, you can adjust your actual arrival and departure as you wish within the 30 minimum. Renting this condo for 30 days and using it only half that time, may be much less than renting a home for that same time.

Cape2025 season

Was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the condo unit and enjoyed feeling safe with the surroundings of the community. Pool, hot tube, and community room was also clean and within a short distance to the condo. People in the community were friendly. Requested to stay in 2026 season.

Wonderful condo and location

The condo was beautifully decorated. The owner (Rich) did a superb job communicating both before and during our stay. The amenities were excellent and we joined a daily pickle ball group and met some great people! We’ve not stayed at a nicer property!

Simply superb!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable 3 month winter vacation in this Island Cove condo. The description that was provided of the condo was accurate except that the Oh-so-comfortable beds were not mentioned. Our first impressions walking in were a clean, well appointed unit with everything that was needed and where everything worked. The condo is in the last building before the pool and is on the Honybear Canal overlooking an ecological preserve were nature is constantly in action. The people who rent in Island Cove are a congenial group if you want to join in; be alert for community events advertised on the bulletin boards outside the office. There are always things to do in Cape Coral and vicinity. We visited art shows, off broadway productions, musical reviews, markets, places of historical significance, and more restaurants than my waist line needed. If you really like to eat breakfast, try the German BAM on 47th Street. And, you can't go wrong with any of the places on the list of restaurants the owner provides. Remember, Cape Coral is not a beach community; it's a place to slow down, relax, and do your thing. I would most definitely recommend this unit to friends and relatives. We like it so much, we will be back next year.

First Time Snowbirds

Our first time wintering in Florida. Rich and Chris's condo did more than exceed expectations. We felt at home the instant we walked through the door. Things only got better as we settled in. The kitchen set up and equipment..is there a?...yes there is...what about?...here it is...should we pick up a?...nope, they have one. It was so easy to settle into a normal kitchen routine. As for relaxing: so quiet, peaceful with the preserve outside the window and patio. The morning sunrise, early morning walks around the canal, spotting alligators (a safe distance away), turtles, jumpng fish. we were within walking distance of a Walmart and Publix, so last minute items for dinner or lunch didn't require a car (and it was a pleasant walk). Overall Rich and Chris's place is a hidden gem and we thank them for sharing their place. We absolutely loved everything about our stay there.

Christmas Vacation

This property was our home away from home for a month. Couldn't have been more inviting or comfortable. Unit was well equipped and had a full size washer and dryer---a perfect bonus! Loved the screened in patio adjacent to a canal as well as the security of the gated community.

What a wonderful place to stay.

I can't say enough for this beautiful condo. It had everything a person could possibly need, even hangers. The landlord was so helpful in making our stay as comfortable as he could. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Very quiet and the pool was heated which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Great view of ecological preserve and close to the pool

Close to the pool. This unit is very nicely built and quiet. The view out the back is nice and peaceful. I like to cook and the kitchen is very well stocked and I have not seen a vacation rental that can compare to all this one offers.

Beautiful Cape Coral Vacation Condo!

This beautiful condo was a perfect vacation spot for us. It is the best stocked home that we have rented in ten years! Tastefully decorated and surrounded by the Del Prado business district. The pool and clubhouse were perfect! We will definitely be back!!

Very nice condo and amenities

We had a great stay at the Karnuth condo in Cape Coral. There are approximately 21 condos in each of building, but you are not bothered by neighbors because the units are built so well. When we arrived, everything we needed was in the unit, from pop and beer to storage baggies and Kleenex. We received several communications from Rich about accessing the condo and things to do in the area. Our only complaint about our stay was that there were no real tennis or pickleball players at the complex. However, the two tennis courts were in excellent shape and the pool and hot tub were excellent, with plenty of lounge chairs and 86 degree pool water. There are also two gas grills available for residents use. We had a wonderful experience staying at this complex and would recommend the rental to all who want a quality property with great amenities.

Great condo and surroundings

A Swedish couple 60+ stayed at the condo for more than 1 month. We loved staying in this nice and quiet place very close to nature and a few minutes to the city. The listing of the condo was accurate regarding location, layout amenities and standard. The furnishing was nice, quite neutral and of very good quality. We appreciated the standard. A fully equipped office was a big plus. There was nothing we could have missed in the kitchen. The property was very clean and very well maintained. We have received a fantastic customer support. The owner provided us with a lot of advice and tips on "what to do" and "where to go". Contact with the owner was very easy and with a swift response. We have done trips to the islands. Sannibel, Pine Island and Bokeelia are beautiful and definitely worth to visit.There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Well equipped, well planned, very clean and excellent condo.

A Swedish couple of 60+, stayed at the condo from mid-November to Christmas 2016. The listing description was accurate regarding the location, layout and amenities. We found the condo very clean, well equipped and very well planned. The area is very quiet and nice. We appreciated morning walks along the canals. Less then 5 minutes to the grocery store. We especially appreciated the heated community pool. Communication with the owners was always simple and giving a fast response. The owners were very supportive and showed a great concern for us as guests giving many suggestions about restaurants and things to do. We are very happy to recommend the owners and the condo. Awesome! Home Away From Home!

My husband and I are long time vacationers of southern Florida, but this was our first visit to Cape Coral. This beautiful, well maintained condo is exactly as pictured and described. It is clean and nicely decorated. It is located in a gated community, waterfront, with a quiet Eco preserve across the canal. It is a short walk to the pool, hot tub, tennis and recreation room. It is close to shopping, restaurants and beaches. The kitchen is especially well equipped with every possible cooking utensil you could use. The master bedroom and bathroom are large and the linens of good quality. A nice feature is the fully equipped office with computer, printer internet and wifi included. A washer and dryer within the condo was most appreciated. The owners were organized, professional and communication response was immediate. We had a wonderful stay! We highly recommend this rental and definitely plan to revisit.
