We love our visits to the Craftsman House! The host is easy to contact, house is super clean and feels like home. We love the fact that you are so close to Bridgewater Campus and we can go to visit our kids. One of our favorite houses to stay.

Wonderful family gathering

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Playground next door and large outdoor eating space was perfect for family that is local to the area to drop by but for us to have our own space. Book and toy selection was great.

This was an amazing place to stay! I came to visit Harrisonburg to spend time with my daughter and granddaughter, who is 2 1/2 years old and this place was perfect! We baked cookies and spent a ton of time at the house because it was so comfortable and gave us all of the space That we needed. It even has a playground within steps of the house. The host was amazing in terms of contact and really thought of everything we could possibly need while we were there. My granddaughter even stayed the night with me one night there and it was perfect! whether guests are 18 months or 80 this is the place to stay. It was close to everything and gave us everything that we needed!

Thanksgiving in Bridgewater

My Nashville family came for the holiday, 3 with me on E College and 5 at 111, perfect for sleeping and lounging. One shower is difficult for more than 5. We didn't cook but kitchen is lovely. I hope to rent it again but will ask for the town-county tax rates.

Beautiful Home! Great stay with family!

This house was immaculately clean, well stocked, gorgeous, and incredibly kid friendly. My wife and I stayed with our seven children and my dad, and it was an absolutely perfect spot. Khanda was an amazing host. She called us minutes after arrival to see if we need anything. She left graham crackers, Hersey's, and marshmallows for us to make S'mores in the fire pit in her beautiful back yard. No traffic noise at night. Would definitely stay at this sweet spot hosted by Khanda again!

Why they chose this property

When my children were attending school, this house was the best location for them as well as their college education at Bridgewater College, JMU. We had the Lifestyle of walking to restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, mini golf, Sandy bottom golf course, the north River and the Sipe center theater all in the Neighborhood..The security of the neighborhood and close to everything my family needed at the time, Parks, rivers, mountains, hiking trails, amazing restaurants, and The support and love at a small town community.

What makes this property unique

The craftsman house sit on the university Road, walkable to Bridgewater College, right off interstate 81 Which can give you direct access to anywhere from north to south.. But my favorite about my house Is that I am within 10 mile radius of at least 10 top Virginia vineyards Surrounding.. With lots of trails to hike and enjoy.
