Great large home close to JMU

We had a large group of family for Jmu homecoming weekend. There was plenty enough room and the big dining room was great. Thanks so much!

Beautiful house with a few quirky things to work through. Did not know someone lived downstairs. Would have been nice to know at time of booking. View was beautiful. Close to so many fun things to do and great local restaurants!

Stunning Views!

This spacious and light-filled home sits on a ridge overlooking Harrisonburg and has views that are truly stunning. Large windows let in the sun and the house has an open first floor and very large rear deck. There is someone who lives in basement (with separate entrance in the rear), but we rarely saw him and there was no noise whatsoever. The house and furniture need a bit of TLC, but everything worked fine. The kitchen is very well stocked and we had all of the towels and blankets we needed.We would absolutely stay here again. It is a one-of-a-kind house!

Mountain View Escape

This is a beautiful property with the most amazing views of the mountains from all sides of the house! It is a great location with close proximity to the JMU campus. We did have trouble with a few of the high end features in the kitchen (gas oven and range) and master bathroom (shower handle). Outdoor areas were a little neglected and could use cleaning. Great property for a short or long stay!!!

This home is huge with lots of space, you can tell it was once a very nice home. Huge kitchen with plenty of seating. With a litte bit of spending on decorating and new furniture this could be a fantastic rental. Along with a DEEP Clean! The closets are full of what looks to be junk and random clothes hanging in them. The couches are old. lamps were busted, just random things stuck places. Bathrooms were clean, but towels were ripped with holes! TVs are hard to work. So much potential with this home with just a little bit of work. It is good location for a group coming into town for a JMU event.

As the listing eludes ….. what an amazing view! The home is perfect for large groups and families. It even began snowing on our last day. We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure!
