To top it off the included Chalet Village pools (walkable), pickleball/tennis and clubhouse will create the ideal vacation for your group.

There is no better place than "Can't Bear to Leave" Cabin to experience all four seasons...winter, spring, summer and especially Ober Mountains winter activities!

Our cabin is the perfect blend of rustic luxury, nestled in the beautiful Smoky Mountains but convenient to skiing, shopping, hiking, fishing, restaurants and all of the outdoor activities that Gatlinburg has to offer.

This is a true log home with a wood burning fireplace. The cabin has been completely updated with all new bamboo flooring, granite countertops, upgraded bathrooms and a fabulous game room to keep young and old alike entertained for hours. The exposed wood beams give you the true feeling of being in the mountains, while still having all of the luxuries of home. Sit, relax, and enjoy your favorite TV show by the fire or a soak in the hot tub. The cabin also offers fast, high-speed internet to keep you connected. The living room features a wood burning fireplace...perfect for cozying up after a cold day on the slopes. Corn-hole anyone? Enjoy a little friendly competition outside playing corn-hole with your friends. S'MORES out by the firepit? Amazing, private fire pit just steps away from the cabin for you to enjoy.

The main floor features a large deck perfect for relaxing, reading a book or just hanging out with friends and family. The main living area has a flat screen tv and unique wine barrel table with a countertop video game. This floor also features two king bedrooms and a beautifully remodeled bathroom that can be accessed from one of the bedrooms as well as the hallway. The beautifully remodeled kitchen and laundry facilities are also on the floor. The couch on the main floor living room pulls out to a queen sleeper sofa.

The upper level features a king bedroom and the bunkroom/game room. The bunk room features a queen over queen bunk bed. This large room has a game room that is sure to keep everyone entertained for hours. There is a Multicade video game w/ 60 games, Arcade Racing Game, and large flat screen TV. These two rooms share a large remodeled bathroom with a walk-in shower.

This cabin sits just off Ski Mountain Road at an elevation of 2,432 ft and is just a short drive to the national park. If you are into winter sports, snow skiing or snowboarding, this cabin is just .3 miles from the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort, as well as 3 miles to the heart of downtown Gatlinburg and entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park. Another amenity this cabin offers is access to Chalet Village Owners Club. This includes access to 3 clubhouses each w/ pools, pickleball/tennis courts, game rooms, workout facility (WALKABLE for 1, Open seasonally)

We have spared no expense and want your trip to Gatlinburg, TN to be one that will make memories that will last for a lifetime. We offer top of the line mattresses, charging ports and all of the conveniences travelers dream of...all while embracing the rustic mountain ambiance that nature has to offer.

Our close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park means there is lots of wildlife in our area - black bears, deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, coyotes, fox, and more! Black bears visit the cabin often in Spring, Summer and Fall. You may get lucky and catch a glimpse of one of these residents while enjoying the view from the deck. We also contract regular monthly pest services which treat for all pests from multiple types of bugs, mice, etc. Despite our regular treatments, given the proximity of the cabin to the park, it is possible these pests can temporarily enter the cabin. We immediately respond and treat if anything comes up and have found it is rare to come across anything like this.

The cabin is in the premier community of Chalet Village, Gatlinburg, Tennessee and our property is adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The views from cabin of the Great Smoky Mountains are breathtaking and we are only 2.5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and the entrance to the Smoky Mountains National Park!

When you've had enough relaxation, look forward to endless entertainment in the surrounding area; you'll be in the perfect spot to explore through winding hiking trails and world-class ski slopes in the Great Smoky Mountains. Other local attractions can be found in downtown Gatlinburg, including delectable restaurants, intriguing shops, the always-entertaining alpine slides, and even a moonshine distillery! During your time here, make sure to visit the Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park & Ski Area, which offers terrific skiing in the colder months, a ski mountain coaster, an aerial tramway, and many other thrilling attractions!

The cabin is located on a mountain road. We strongly recommend trip insurance, especially during the Winter since there are no refunds for snow and ice. In difficult winter or storm related weather situations there can be delays in cleaning and check-in pending road conditions which can be outside of our control.

We take cleaning seriously!
* All hard & soft surfaces cleaned with Micro-Ban(tm) including: counters, vanities, sinks, floors, stair rails, cabinets, doors, furniture, beds, pillows, carpets, comforters, etc. throughout cabin.
* Lysol(tm) is used thoroughly on all compatible surfaces to clean and disinfect
* Bleach-based cleaners used in all bathrooms and kitchens, that allow use of chlorine products.
* Linens (bedding, towels, etc) – removed & washed offsite in temperatures exceeding those recommended for laundry operations, then packaged until the housekeeping staff are ready to put them out for guests.
* Hot Tub -- Drained, cleaned, fresh Bromine added and refilled after every guest
* Cabin inspected regularly after cleaning and inspectors perform additional applications of protective products in the cabin, such as MicroBan and Lysol.
* Cleaning staff received additional education on disinfection protocols and are furnished with protective gloves, changing them for fresh pairs as needed during cleaning & disinfection of the home.

* We provide a set of starter supplies to allow you to get settled when you arrive. They include 2 trash bags, 2 dishwasher pods, a paper towel roll, a small liquid dish soap bottle, a toilet paper, a small bottle of shampoo, body lotion, body wash, conditioner and a soap bar for each bathroom, towels, and bed linens. They are designed so that you are all set when you arrive but not to last the entire trip.

*We are pet friendly (dogs only) and charge a flat rate of $150 for the stay for up to two dogs.
