Much more that we expected!

  • 5 of 5

This property is great! It took about 40 - 50 minutes for us to reach either Yosemite Valley or Glacier Point. Very quite and nice area. The property is well maintained and equipped. I don't see any big reason to stay inside the park. We left at around 7 am and had no traffic or crowd issues to check out the major attractions. Then, we parked where the park shuttle stop is close and we kept using the shuttle bus in the afternoon. Our next trip to Yosemite will largely depend on the availability of this property!!!

We had a terrific week-long stay at the cabin on a bridge. The cabin exceeded our expectations in every way.

We loved it

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very cute, comfortable and relaxing. Our kids loved playing in the stream down below and riding to the general store to grab some It's Its (for those that don't know, the best ice cream sandwiches). It was very cozy and the perfect place to decompress and get away from it all.

Within in a few mile to Yosemite, it made it very convenient and less expensive than to stay in the park. Also very close to Bass Lake and the sequoias.

Thank you for letting us stay in your home. It was perfect!

Cozy, clean, convenient!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this cabin for two nights for a girls only getaway. The cabin was clean and well-furnished, cozy, and in a good location. Loved the stream under the cabin - fun! It had all the basics, great linens/blankets. Bed had a great mattress, couch bed was a satisfactory couch bed (I mean really...what can you expect?). Loved the quiet in the woods. Nice little neighborhood to walk around. About an hour to the Valley.

We had a little snafoo with the water heater and having a few hours of cold water, but after some texts with the owner, ended up turning the heater up ourselves, The owner was kind enough to include a little little refund for our trouble when they sent the security deposit back. We accidentally left a reusable grocery bag in the cabin when we departed and the owner also mailed that back to us, which was very kind.

Not too many fancy kitchen things, but it has the basics.

We would stay here again in the future!

Great Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here in Oct 2015. This was the perfect cabin for two people. It was a small cabin, but seemed much bigger than it actually was.

The cabin was very neat and tidy, although it could use a good dusting. The bed was very comfortable.

We sat outside on the bridge in the early mornings before daylight for coffee. The stars were amazing. The entrance to the park is not far, and it is a beautiful drive. We especially enjoyed the early morning drive.

The nearest town for grocerys is about 15 miles away, so you might want to pick up supplies on your way in. There is a general store about a block away, but it was closed for the month of Oct.

We loved our stay at this cabin and hopfully will get to return here some day.

Thank you Richard for letting us stay in your wonderful cabin.
