About Allison

We are a family that enjoys NH during all seasons. Although we live and work in MA, we love to escape to NH for summer fun, fall foliage, winter skiing and down time with family and friends.

You will find this home is suited for friends and family gatherings, ski getaways, summer relaxation, 4 season fishing, and kayaking spring, summer and fall. For the last 14 years we have enjoyed the many lakes region and white mountain attractions as our kids have grown up camping in Meredith NH. Although we thoroughly enjoy this home a few times during the year we continue to camp and play in NH.

One of our new past-times is maintaining this home and making it an enjoyable experience for our guests.

Allison purchased this house in 2011

Why Allison chose Lake Winnipesaukee

We have camped in and loved this area for escaping with friends and family since 1998. In 2011 we were fortunate to purchase this home and have renovated throughout. Every attempt has been made to set this home up for a successful rental experience. Guests are valued customers and we look forward to your reviews and feedback.

The location offers a quiet beautiful setting while being close to all the attractions and supply stores etc.

What makes this house unique

The new multi-tier decking is fabulous. You will spend countless hours enjoying the views and watching the wildlife and lake front activities. Inside and out you will enjoy views throughout your stay. Any inclined early birds will view some spectacular sunrises....then we suggest you take the kayaks out while you watch/listen as the birds, loons and wildlife come alive.....or sleep in and catch the Weirs Beach fireworks if that is more your style.

Guestbook comments from the owner

"Hi Allison,

I just got back to the office today. I wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in your beautiful home. The weather was perfect and there wasn't anything we needed, because your home is stocked so well. The kids had a blast in the water, and the adults were grateful for the dock because we had the opportunity to use someone's boat which allowed us to venture over to the sandbar and the Naswa for some adult fun. We spotted a bald eagle 3 times during the week and were in awe at its beauty. Your neighbor was very friendly. All in all it was a peaceful and relaxing week. One of the kids left you a piece of art that she painted as a thank you. Hope you get to see it. Again thank you so much for a wonderful family vacation." - Thank you Judy for sending this email. We love the painting left on our mantle! So glad you all had an enjoyable stay.

Waterfront w/Fabulous Views / Booking September & October Foliage & Fun!
average rating of 5.0 based on 24 reviews

Beautiful home/location with lots of activities

  • 5 of 5

We had the best stay - The house was just beautiful and fit our group perfectly. Despite the cold time of year (end of Oct), we even took the canoe/kayaks out for a quick spin and got the absolute best view of the foliage. The hosts were great, flexible with our check in and check out times. One of our group accidentally left their baby monitor at the house and the hosts so kindly went out of their way to send the monitor back to it's owners! Would certainly stay here again if we make our way back to the area.

We echo the other 5 star reviews. The photos don't lie. We also had three generations for our 50th anniversary celebration. The kids loved the waterfront which is calm and user friendly as opposed to the big water lake. Went to the drive-in movie for novelty experience for the kids, rented pontoon boat with operator (no boating license nightmare) at EkAL-Meridith as well as paddleboards for a day (well worth it). Highly recommend Hart's Turkey Farm for any catering needs. Robb & Allison have thought of everything. Don't overthink this . Just GO!

Our entire family, with kids and grandchildren, spent the last week of July 2016 at this fabulous house. This was our 5th consecutive summer vacation at this house.

We had a great week, and the weather was excellent. We never get tired of spending our vacation at this house, with plenty to do with swimming in the cove, fishing, canoeing and kayaking, and riding the train at nearby Weirs Beach.

Thank you again, Allison and Robb, for allowing us to stay at your house and enjoying a fantastic family vacation.

Another Awesome Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We have rented this fabulous lake house for 5 years! Each year, our children and grandchildren join us for the week. Renting this house has become an annual tradition, and our 7 grandchildren are making lasting memories swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing and strolling on the train tracks. The Winnipesaukee Scenic Train goes by during the day and the kids love to wave to the conductor and passengers. Our 8-month-old grandson learned to wave while there! We also rented stand up paddle boards which was a big hit. Our grandchildren were sad to see the week come to an end. Allison and Rob are the best hosts. This house has so much to offer. You will not be disappointed when you rent this gem--just don't take our week! 😄 We are already looking forward to next year! Thanks for everything, Allison and Rob.

Great place to stay.

  • 5 of 5

We celebrated a 50th anniversary with our family of 10 here. The beds are comfortable, plenty of room in this 3 level home for everyone. Clean and well supplied. Plenty for all ages to do with numerous inside games & outside water toys. . SO convenient to everything-just minutes to beach, mini-carts & golf, beach and boardwalk, not to mention restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We would rent this home again. K & J. Bradfield

We recently rented this house for a week. We enjoyed the house and the surroundings very much. The house had virtually everything you could think of to help make the trip enjoyable. Our kids and grand kids enjoyed the stay as well. The kayaks and the canoe were hits, as well as the fishing. It feels like you are away from everything but things are close if you need something.
