Thank you Makenzie! I'm happy you enjoyed your visit but I could have made it much better had I known you were having other issues. I would have been happy to replace the pool cues if I had known about it when we replaced the set screw on the shower faucet for you. The hot tub jets are fully adjustable by twisting left or right based upon your liking. I wish I would have known about these things as I would have been happy to help you when we came out about the faucet. The appliances are the ones in the photos. Yes, there is no Uber service but we also have a list of very reasonable transportation services here that we would have been happy to have provided for you all. Our goal is for everyone to thoroughly enjoy our cabin!

We are glad you found our cabin to be neat and clean! We're so sorry about the road construction just a few miles from our cabin. I agree that July was not a good time for road construction here in Gatlinburg! The good news is that the road construction is complete now! Your family may live in a very rural area with lots of land! Our lot is considered quite large for Gatlinburg coming in at just under an acre. Many cabins sit on one fifteenth to one quarter of an acre lot with another cabin maybe 3-4 feet away! We consider ourselves so lucky to have all our room and our pretty little creek! The hot tub is set on 99 degrees in the summer. The hot tub temperature logged for your arrival was 99.9 degrees. The hot tub temperature is digital, guests simply adjust to their desired temperature. We wish you would have reported ants. They use a gel that will take care of ants in just a few hours! Yes, it did take us 2 minutes to get back with you when you entered the wrong code into the ADT alarm and called us after hours. We were thinking 2 minutes would be an acceptable time to reach someone in the night. The instructions to work the alarm were provided in your arrival information email along with door code, wi-fi password, directions, etc. Perhaps you didn't read it closely. We also send an email 3 days prior to arrival with a list of everything we provide, what's not provided and a recommended packing list. I think you would have been better prepared for you trip had you read the email. After your review, we sent maintenance to check the upstairs temperature. They logged the upstairs room temperatures to be exactly the same as the main level temperature consistently and noted the outdoor temperature was 97 degrees during their test. Their findings stated objects such as suitcases, towels, clothing or pillows may have been placed on or around the vents which restricted proper air flow but no ventilation issues were found in any of the upstairs rooms. We advertise the creek as just that--a creek. We show it in several photos so people can judge for themselves if it will be large enough for their needs. Our family loves our little creek, especially in the early mornings right as the sun is coming up with the sunshine glistening on the water. It's so relaxing and pleasant to us. We're sorry your grandchildren didn't enjoy our creek as much as we do!

I beg to differ, 100%! First of all, our place is 100% as presented online. You arrived July 3 (not July 2). We redecorated in April, McGee Professional Photography made all new photos and uploaded our new photos online May 2. You booked our cabin May 26, so the photos online were 100% accurate. The pool table is sitting exactly as portrayed in the online photos. I don't understand about the appliances hardly work--they either work or not! You can clearly see in the photos, our appliances are not worn out! All the burners work on our range, both elements in our oven work, the refrigerator temps at 32 degrees, ice is available in our ice bin, our microwave and our dishwasher work properly. What appliance 'hardly worked'? We cook all the time when we are in town! Our relatives cook when they are enjoying our cabin. No, our toilet is not a handicap-height toilet. It measures the standard 17". A 'toddler toilet' is 10" off the floor, so our toilet is almost twice the height of a 'toddler toilet'. It is my understanding that many new apartment buildings are installing very tall handicap toilets in their apartment units, but our cabin isn't designed or advertised to accommodate special needs. Our rental company may have a handicap adapter for toilets available for guests with special needs. Had you called, we would have done something! Even if we needed to buy a handicap toilet adapter for you. I wish we could have knownabout your special needs. Our creek is beautiful, just like it was online! Our creek has never been a 'puddle of stagnant mosquito bed'. In fact, it rained 16 days in June, then rained 2 nights prior to your arrival and absolutely poured rain the night of your arrival. Perhaps you were expecting a river--not a creek. Our description clearly states 'creekside', not a river! There is a huge difference. Our cabin is professionally manicured and mowed by Four Seasons Lawn Care and Landscaping. They trimmed the shrubs in April just before our new photos were made. Yes, the grass is thick and lush due to record rainfall in June. We think it's really pretty as we've never seen everything so lush and green! If our place was overgrown and had not been mowed, why did you decorate our yard for the 4th of July? With all your yard decor/art and the fact we did not hear from you the entire time, we had no idea you thought our place was one star worthy! If you had an issue, why didn't you call, text or email during your stay?
