About John Kennedy
Two Portland families spent several long weekends at Middle Fork Ranch over a few years, loving the peacefulness and solitude, and daydreaming how awesome it would be to have a retreat like this. When the then-current owners unexpectedly needed to sell, they jumped at the opportunity of a lifetime to become part of this special place.

Highly recommend this house and host
Comfortable, amazing kitchen and grounds. A peaceful family getaway for us!
Lovely place. Would have liked to spend more time there.
This is a wonderful place for a family visit, with a warm spacious home, great outdoor space, and lots of things for grownups and kids to do, with a swing, hammock, bikes to ride, croquet, indoor games and a great selection of books. Tranquil spot to de-stress and enjoy country scenery, yet within easy reach of Hood River, Parkdale and Mount Hood itself.
We warmly recommend the place!
It was even better than it sounded in the write up. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and was a great gathering place. Comfy beds, very clean, and great location. Wonderful garden and enjoyed eating your plums right off the tree.
It had everything we needed and a great location.
Typical ranch style great garden and fruit trees and a lovely comfortable cosy home.
Relaxing Girls Trip getaway
Had our annual girls trip here and it was by far the most relaxing place we have visited in our 10 years of getting together. The house was spacious and comfortable, but we mainly sat outside on the porch and layed in the sun. It was quiet and relaxing. Would definitely come back!
Thanks so much for your nice review and for reminding me why we love it up there so much. Reading what you wrote made me wish I was up there at that very moment. So glad to have been able to provide you all with a relaxing place to visit with one another and catch up. Would love to have you back in the future.
