About cindy freedman
Our family of 5 relocated with our 4 big dogs in 2010. Due to our careers we had to move back to the east coast and could not let our beautiful retreat like home be sold. We turned it into a rental so that we could return as often as possible. We enjoy horseback riding at hickory nut gap farm, hot yoga in east asheville, drumming with billy at skinny beats and all the eclectic things Asheville offers.
cindy freedman purchased this House in 2008
Why cindy freedman chose Limestone
Close to everything! Whimsical, open concept and great outdoor entertaining or quiet reading. GIANT DECK, OUTDOOR FIRE PIT
What makes this House unique
This home offers the best of both worlds - being far enough out that you feel peaceful and secluded but at the same time you are only minutes from shopping and tons of the attractions that make Asheville one of the most popular destinations in the South East.

Great house and location. Just a short drive to downtown and local venues.
The house is very spacious, nicely decorated and equipped with all necessities. The owner Cindy was quick to respond to our questions and eager to help. Weather was very cold so we weren’t able to enjoy the outside fire pit, volleyball, horseshoes, etc. but it is all included.
Driveway is steep as is road leading in, but expected for a mountain home.
We had a wonderful time.
Perfect weekend getaway
Went for a long weekend with 4 couples just for fun. The pictures don’t even do this house justice. It is beautiful, very spacious, clean and fully stocked with almost anything you could possibly need. We enjoyed drinking our coffee in the mornings on the deck with a beautiful view. Cooking meals and then eating at the large kitchen table. Enjoying drinks and games by the fireplace in the evenings. It is close to everything so we visited the Asheville breweries and restaurants during the day. Would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants the best of both worlds (fun and relaxation) while visiting Asheville. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful home nestled on a secluded wooded mountain. We didn’t want to leave!!
It’s about a two hour drive to the great Smoky Mountains National Park. Owner did a beautiful job decorating this spacious home.
Me and 8 other friends stayed here for a guy’s weekend. The layout of the property is really nice and spacious. It’s only about 15 or 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, so getting an Uber isn’t a problem. The only complaint that we had was that there wasnt a tv in the main living room/kitchen area which is where we spend most of our time.
Great 4 bedroom house
We enjoyed our stay here. Of note, this is listed as a 5 bedroom house, however it only has 4 bedrooms - not sure why they have it listed as 5. Two bedrooms are downstairs with one of them containing 2 queen beds. Also, if you have small children or elderly in your group, the first flight of stairs going down to the basement does not have a hand rail - which is quite dangerous. Cindy was great to work with and very accommodating. As everyone else has said - downtown Asheville was about 15 minutes away and Biltmore was 15-20 minutes. We enjoyed the mountain views and wilderness. Thanks for letting us stay!
Private, gorgeous escape in a dream home
My husband and I were booking last minute for ourselves and our pet to stay in the mountains on vacay. Cindy was so accommodating and thinks of everything at the house! You literately just need to bring yourselves and some clothes and be ready for a peaceful, beautiful experience. The wall to wall windows were my favorite. We appreciated that the top of driveway is flat too so you don’t have to park on a hill at the top after driving up. 10 min to Biltmore, 15 to downtown, 15 to Blue Ridge Parkway - you cant beat the location either. Plus the bed was super comfy after a long day of hiking. We’ll be back for sure! Thank you for a clean, welcoming, stay!
Located conveniently in South Asheville, North Carolina ('The Paris of the South'). Easy driving from the home to the Biltmore House, Downtown Asheville, Biltmore Village, The Blue Ridge Parkway, WNC Arboretum and all the shopping and dinning that these areas provide. Pets welcome
