Ray and Nanette Borges welcome you to our little piece of paradise, nestled in a cove, overlooking four mountain ranges. Our cabin is located in the heart of the Western North Carolina mountains, just a few minutes drive from the Smoky Mountain National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Maggie Valley.

At an elevation of 3600 feet, you’ll enjoy the cool mountain breezes from your own front porch swing or rocker. The peace and quiet will overwhelm you year after year. Yet, the convenience to all of the area’s beauty and attractions are at your leisure.

The cabin is tastefully decorated, with full kitchen and amenities. A gas log fireplace and air conditioner ensure your total comfort. The cabin includes refrigerator, stove/oven, satellite and TV, free wireless Internet, microwave, washer and dryer, linens, BBQ grill, picnic table, and campfire pit. Pets are welcome, but a pet fee is required.

Guestbook comments from the owner

The moment we drove up and went inside it felt like we were right at home. The Christmas Tree was a welcome sight, and thank you for the lovely decorations to make us feel like we were celebrating Christmas in our own home. The Cabin was perfect for all our needs. My Mom visiting from Australia loved the downstairs beedroom and bath. My two boys loved the loft area, and my dog Gilligan absolutely lovee running around outside.. It wouldn't have been Christmas without him with us.

My husband Chris and I want to exteend our warmest thanks for a wonderful Christmas Holiday.

Starry, starry night

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this great little cabin. It was very clean and very quiet with a great view, and at night the sky was so clear and free from light spill that we could even see the Milky Way. The beds were comfortable and the showers had good water pressure and enough hot water for 7 dirty and tired hikers. The only potential downside we saw to the cabin was that the two bedrooms in the loft were very open with little privacy. It might be hard for light sleepers to get a good rest there, but we put the kids up there with a white noise machine and they slept like logs. Great stay - we would definitely go back.
