Our Buttes unit has several features that make it a convenient location for your vacation. You access the unit directly from the outside only 5 steps from the parking area. We require 48 hours between rentals for thorough cleaning. Our kitchen is fully equipped and comfortable. We have a crockpot, spices, baking supplies, cookware etc.. when you choose to cook during your stay. The well equipped kitchen and large dining table will allow you entire group to enjoy your time and make memories together. The home equipped office with desk, monitor and printer. There is a 55" smart TV to the living room. The unit also has a second TV and game room.

The owners are open to longer stays if you would like to work remotely from the mountains. Send us an inquiry if your interested in a multi week rate.

Enjoy world class skiing, riding, biking, and hiking from our spacious, 2 bedroom 3 bath town home. The unit is 1,450 square feet and located just 150 yards from Mt. Crested Butte's base area and the Silver Queen lift. This convenient location allows for skiing in for a homemade lunch. After a long day of exercise, enjoy soaking in the new shared hot tub or the private jacuzzi tub in the Master Suite.

Enter into a spacious foyer including a large closet for coats and ski boots. Both the Master Suite and the Guest Suite are located on this level. The Master Suite has a king bed, TV, private bath, and stackable washer/dryer. The Guest Suite has a queen bed and private bath. Upstairs is the spacious living room with a gas fireplace, TV and large south facing windows. There is also a bonus living room with a TV and games. Enjoy cooking in this updated, eat in kitchen complete with gas cooktop. The kitchen is fully equipped to create great meals and memories with family and friends.

Home office with desk, 27" monitor, laser printer, wireless keyboard and mouse.

In addition to the 2 bedrooms there is a brand new queen size sleep sofa in the living room

If you prefer to eat out, enjoy the base area or catch the free shuttle at the bottom of the driveway into town.

Our unit is very suitable for multiple couples and/or families. The location can't be beat. Being only 150 yards from the base area allows you to start your day with an early walk to Coffee Lab, drop your kids at ski school, go tubing at night or enjoy apres ski and restaurants all within walking distance. No need to cross any streets to get to the mountain.

Come enjoy Crested Butte's small town charm, pristine surroundings, and majestic views. Whether you come for the classic bowl skiing, steep slopes, mountain biking the 401 trail, hiking, fishing, or enjoying the summer wildflowers, you will see why we fell in love with it here!

Payment Policy: If reservation is made more than 60 days before arrival, 50% is due at time of booking with balance due 60 days before arrival. Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.

All guests must sign a rental agreement and provide identification to confirm a booking.

Great location, great stay!

Our family had a great time at this property. It was easy and clean, so close to the mountain activities! Hot tub was large and very well maintained. The layout was a bit disjointed but that didn’t bother our stay one bit. We had a great time all around!

Alpine getaway

This property is superbly maintained and very well-stocked. It's very comfortable, tastefully decorated, has lovely panoramic views, an awesome kitchen and is right above Mountaineer Square in Mt. Crested Butte. It's close to the bus stop and hiking trail areas. We had an awesome stay and the owner Andy is very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed this location as it is a very easy walk to the slopes and to the ski village. The unit is very well equipped with all the needed amenities, plenty of space for a family of 5, and communication with the owner was top-notch. Thanks for a great pre-XMAS ski vacation!

Wonderful stay

Absolutely perfect location. True ski in/out. Very close to base area. Walk everywhere but into the town :) Hot tub acceptable (could be a little hotter). Comfortable home with everything you need. Good beds. Love Crested Butte. Would definitely stay here again!

Well-stocked condo steps from the slopes

We enjoyed our time at this cozy condo right off the base area in Crested Butte. The best part was the condo was so well-stocked! Plenty of dishes, pans and even spices and things you don't want to buy just one time. It also had all the toiletries, although I'm sure that varies from one guest's use to another. But, it was awesome to not have to buy paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, shampoo, etc. It has a great cabin feel and was a great spot to return to after a long day of skiing.

Great Place to stay!!

The condo was perfect. The views were spectacular. The condo was well stocked much more than expected which was so very nice when traveling by plane. We stopped at Clark’s market and got a bunch of groceries . I forgot sugar, then I found a huge container of it in the cabinet. There was plenty of room and love all the coat hooks. Attention to detail was so wonderful too. LOCATION to the slopes and base hub was primo too. Thank you Andy for letting us stay in your condo. Heather and crew from Pensacola Beach, Fl.

Our stay at this condo was very enjoyable. The location was terrific for our needs. The Buttes is situated immediately behind the Mountaineer Lodge where most of the wedding party was staying. The condo was very clean. Kitchen and living areas nice; bedrooms and baths were certainly adequate and comfortable. At the last minute some of my family couldn't come so we had plenty of room. Pictures on the website do it justice but room seemed slightly smaller than they appear. Overall it was perfect for us and I would certainly go back.

Truly Ski in Ski out!!! Location Jack Pot! Beautiful Condo

This was our 3rd trip to Crested Butte for a ski vacation and our most favorite location and condo by far. We absolutely loved this and Andy the owner was exceptional to work with. Seriously, the greatest location to the base. Parking was an ease. Inside you will find everything you need to feel comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with every kitchen item we needed including condiments and spices. We were delighted to see a brand new box of pancake mix and syrup, butter in the fridge, coffee, all the things you want to have when you get somewhere and you don't have to run to the store to get the little things. The beds were so comfortable. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and plenty of bathrooms for privacy. Book this place. It was spotless, it is beautiful and close to the base for summer or winter activities. Andy is a dream to work with. You won't be disappointed.

The listing is deceiving.

The say upfront that the condo sleeps 6, but it only sleeps 4. All other listing that state upfront how many it sleeps makes sure there’s a real bed or a sofa pull out. This place is underhanded. They say 6 and how they get to 6 is by putting blowup mattress in the closet. How they get away with it is the burry the detail deeper on the site. If you need more than 4 in a real bed don’t come to this place. I called the property manger and he refused to work with me, was actually rude. We stayed because we had to but never again. Owners aren’t ethical!

Upon arrival we were pleased with easy parking and access from lot for unloading. This property is located behind another row of condos that are truly slope side so there is a bit of a walk with your gear (unlike the lower condos that you can clip in at your back door) but like it says, maybe a 2 min walk if you ski down from Warming hill off to the side. If you are at the base/restaurants it takes a couple set of stairs up which is important to know if you have small children carrying gear. The unit itself is clean and private. The kitchen was well stocked and open. I do feel like the linens, blankets, and decor needs a little refresh to give the condo a 'warm cozy feeling' you look forward to at the end of a long day. Overall it was a nice place. The host was super friendly and communicative along the whole process.

Great escape!

This condo is perfectly located on the mountain, comfortable, and Andy is great. My wife and I spent a week in Crested Butte and used the condo as our base for hiking, fishing and rafting. We found the condo welcoming and we felt at home right away. Andy was responsive and easy to work with throughout. Overall, we would recommend this for anyone looking to visit the area.

Condo with a view

We had a great time staying in the condo. It was very clean and had everything that we needed. There were 2 rooms locked that might have been extra bedrooms though. If we would have known there was a possibility of the extra bedrooms then we would have added at least o e of them for our stay. The condo was in the perfect place for going on the mountain and hiking. We will definitely consider staying here again.

We live in Stratham NH and fell in love with Crested Butte years ago. In 2012 we fulfilled a dream and purchased Buttes 513. We love to come out in both the winter to ski and summer to mountain bike / hike. There is nothing like the Crested Butte area, completely laid back and welcoming. Not to mention it has some of the best skiing in the country.

Why they chose this property

We picked Buttes 513 because of the location. As a family we take ski vacations every year. The location of your accommodations are key to a successful vacation with adults, young kids and teens alike. This unit is an easy walk to ski school. Older kids can tube and explore the base area. Adults can walk to Butte 66 and other restaurants for happy hour or dinner. Everything in the base area is steps away, including the transit station if you want to go to town. There is parking in front of the unit but no car in necessary due to the location. No need for kids to cross any streets getting to the base area.

What makes this property unique

The other reason we picked this unit is the condition. It is fully renovated with hardwood, stainless and tile, truly a top notch unit with all the amenities. The antler chandelier and black bear rug by the fireplace only helped to seal the deal. The kitchen is fully stocked so if you choose to cook, you can make holiday memories with family and friends.
