This is a beautiful property overlooking a lovely lake. It was furnished nicely and very comfortable. I was staying with five ladies and we each had our own room--perfect.We came to Hiawassee for a dance workshop and were very happy to stay at this house instead of a hotel room.Thank you for the use of your home : )

Friends Reunion Weekend

Heaven on Lake Chatuge

After Hurricane Helene came through our area a couple weeks prior to our stay, this was exactly what we needed. Beautiful view, easy and short distance to any stores. We also rented a boat for the last afternoon which was a perfect end to a very relaxing 4 day weekend. We are planning another trip and hope to be able to stay here again!!!

Mountain Weekend

we have stayed here for a number of years, the location is convenient, and the views are outstanding. We really enjoy the fully stock kitchen which is a great size for a group of people. The host is easy to work with and responsive to all our needs in a timely manner. The bedrooms are all a nice size. We look forward to visiting in the future.

My friends and I can't think of single bad thing to say about this property. We had a lovely time. The views from the deck are beautiful, and the home itself provided the perfect setting for a long weekend away. We may have to come back again!

The home is great. Large enough for a group of 10. Enough beds for everyone and bathrooms to match. So many sofas for everyone to relax. Large deck and the it’s in the LAKE!! Great place to visit anytime of the year. The host is also super responsive and reasonable. Will come again.

Breathtaking View!

Our family of six plus friends who came throughout the week to stay for a few nights to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and there was plenty of space in the house to move around, cook, entertain and sleep. The dock was also nice as we took two boats with us. The fire pit was great and the view was breathtaking! We will be back!

Ideal Location and lots of space

We come from NY and some of the family comes from Florida to meet in the middle. The house is absolutely beautiful and tons of room for everyone. I don't think you could get a better view. We cooked most of our meals and enjoyed eachother while soaking in the vistas. We would absolutely come back again and again.

Family Reunion

This was our annual family reunion with my 3 grown children and their mates, and my 2 grown grandchildren. House was clean with marvelous views. Weather was great. We enjoyed kayaking, swimming and hiking at the park nearby. Sitting on the porch, eating on the porch and catching up with family members was exactly what we had hoped to do. We would definitely return. The owner was available and helpful.

Wonderful Lake house in a great central location

I stayed with my family over the New Years Holiday and had an amazing time in this beautiful large lake house in Hiawassee, GA. The location is exactly what we were looking for, within 5 minute drive to restaurants, large grocery store and 30-50 minute drives to all the outdoor activities that north Georgia has to offer. The house was very spacious and clean with uninterrupted views of the beautiful lake and mountains surrounding this pristine area. If anyone with a large family is looking for a quite vacation in a gorgeous location, look no further than this property! Thank you Jeanne for all your help and for letting myself and my family use your beautiful home.

Mountain lake get away

The house was beautiful only to be topped by the lake/mountains view. The boat dock was great and in deep water. The only issues were the neighbors paddle boat was stored on the boat dock which prevented us from using that half of the dock, and there were issues locating the oars for the kayaks for the first two days that prevented us from using the kayaks. There were tons of spider webs and spiders on the outside of the house and dock. Saying that, our overall experience was really good and YES we would definitely stay here again. Thumbs up!!

This is our second time staying at this property. The accommodations work great for our family, and the house has everything you could possibly need. The location on the lake is very private and scenic. The distance to the grocery store and Marina are within a 5-minute Drive. We truly enjoy staying here.
