This cabin has 2 Master bedrooms with King size beds in both!
We're a family of five, including our 3 daughters. We visited Maggie Valley, NC Christmas of 2011 and fell in love with this area. We decided to buy our own cabin the summer of 2012. We are looking forward to all the wonderful memories ahead and sharing our home with you.
Amber purchased this Cabin in 2012
Why Amber chose Valley Creek Run
The breathtaking views, and peacefulness of this cabin. The location is secluded yet so close to so many things to enjoy. Tasteful decor, with updated furniture. Our girls like having an apple tree right on the property. Juuuust Right! :)
What makes this Cabin unique
Our cabin has an open concept floor plan, large kitchen, dinning room able to fit 8, vaulted ceilings, real log construction (not paneling), large bedrooms, no traffic due to being the last and highest built home in the development, and in our opinion the best view in Maggie Valley! Baby Bear's Cabin is our home. Be our guest. :)

Very nice cabin! The fire pit was a plus. Enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains! We will definitely be back!
A little piece of Heaven
This place was everything I'd hoped for. The privacy, the view, the spacious cabin on the side of the mountain. Fully stocked house with all the comforts of home. If you want to get away from it all then this is the place! Oh and the weather (in May)...perfect in my opinion. Warm days with no humidity and cool nights perfect for a little fire. The road took some getting used to but then again you are really driving up the side of a mountain. I do not suggest a low profile car due to the hills and turns, however, a regular vehicle/truck/suv will work just fine. Not too far from Publix, Dollar General, etc. A great getaway and definitely a piece of heaven! Thanks to Amber and Mike for sharing their home with us!
Very nice cabin and beatiful view but....
As the dozens of reviews have said before, the cabin is very nice and the views are spectacular. But......I consider that I am a very experienced driver and, as a matter of fact, we had come up for the week-end in our sports car to drive the challenging roads in the area (The Tail of the Dragon and the Rattler). However, the entrance to the cabin's drive way requires a very sharp turn into a steep driveway with no margin for error. We have a low front spoiler that would scrape the steep drive or the car would get hung up on the chassis. Entering the driveway was a two person effort because you had to hug the edge of the road without dropping a wheel off the drop-off. A challenging exercise. Surprised that more of the previous comments did not mention this. Perhaps this is unique to our situation.
Otherwise, the cabin cannot be faulted and the view is truly spectacular. Breakfasts and dinners on the porch were wonderful.
After speaking with you about having the car in the car show, I was surprised to see you booked the next day. Mountain roads curve and we have excellent photos that show the drive up as well as the driveway which is very typical in the mountains, ours is better than most in fact. I asked you to rereview these photos. Most of the low riding cars that were in the car show such as yours that weekend stayed in motels on Soco Rd. We don’t see cars like that coming up to the mountains because they are so low riding and they will get scratch. Even after our initial conversation you called upon arrival and spoke with my husband who gave you an alternative place to park where you would not be scratched at all but you choose to drive onto the driveway with both cars.
Glad you enjoyed the cabin itself. If you find yourself coming again to the valley we would love to have you.
Neat, clean scenic place to stay with good amenities. Well stocked for cooking needs and a great started kit. Owner easy to work with. Good central location to Asheville and the Smokies.
baby bear cabin
a great cabin and a great place to stay , wonderful views , and the town down on the road very close just down the hill , is Maggie Valley , great small town with great places to eat , etc.
We enjoyed our time here; it was exactly what we wanted.
Our cabin is on a one-car paved road with inclines and turns that are not trailer friendly. We ask that you leave your large enclosed trailers at home. Thank you
