Slice of Heaven. Vacation or Workation - Perfect Get-Away by the River and Trail

Slice of Heaven Words that guests have used to describe their time here: "A slice of Paradise, A bit of Heaven, Enchanted". One guest has now stayed with us twice and has booked a third stay already. I think that says a lot. Need to work and get- away from it all at the same time: Here is your delightful secret find! Nestled next to the Roaring Fork river and a pond (water in pond from April 15th to October 30th) set on about an acre of grass and trees, enjoy sitting in the shade of the trees in the summer months. Gaze at the heavens from the jacuzzi. Enjoy cooking on the barbq. Fishing just outside the living room. This modern 850 sq.ft. apartment has 1 Bedroom (King size bed, very comfortable), 1 Full size bed in the living area, ¾ en-suite bathroom, Office Area with 32” monitor, printer, scanner, copier (ink and paper provided) and dongle for PC or Mac. Starlink high speed internet, ideal for video meetings. 55” and 42” TVs (we provide basic Dish TV services, and you can access Netflix and Prime). 2 electric fireplaces. Large washer and dryer, large fridge, dishwasher, microwave, Emeril Lagasse’s airfryer, convection toaster oven, Keurig coffee and cappuccino maker, regular coffee maker, electric kettle, waffle maker, rice cooker, slow cooker, pizza maker, toaster, barbecue with searing burner, are but a few of the amenities. We provide you with basics such as coffees, teas, sugars, oils, vinegar, herbs, dishwashing, laundry soaps, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels and lots of toilet paper, if anything needs replenishing please let us know. We collect trash every morning. Note that there is no stove. There is ample parking and storage for bikes and skis. The property has easy access to the Rio Grande Trail, Fishing, boating, or paddle boarding on The Roaring Fork River (access from the property) or the Frying Pan. The Rio Grande and The Redhill trails, numerous Golf Courses, tennis and pickle ball courts and the runs at ASPEN, SNOWMASS, BUTTERMILK, HIGHLANDS RANCH AND SUNLIGHT ski resorts. Also, a great base camp during the hunting season. Aspen is just an easy 30 minute drive away. This world renowned, Ski Resort provides everything and anything that the elite might seek. Walk or bike into Carbondale for sightseeing and shopping. Enjoy the local eateries such as Village Smithy for Breakfast, the Marble distillery for local cocktail creations, stop by the Cocoa Club for delicious chocolate truffles, enjoy the pizzas at the White House, and for a bit of exotic Phat Thai for dinner. Basalt and Glenwood Springs have a lot to offer, we recommend the hot springs at Iron Mountain Hot Springs, take the Glenwood Gondola up to the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and enjoy the thrill of the rides. The local open-air markets in the Valley: Aspen and Glenwood Saturdays, Carbondale Wednesday, Basalt Sunday. Easy access to the Express buses to Aspen and Snowmass. Owners live on the property and are present for any needs you might need. Shared use of table tennis. Shared use of fire pit. No smoking or vaping inside the apartment. No pets allowed. We have dogs of our own who are very friendly. The extra bed is available for a minimum of 3 nights. Cost $75 per night ($225 min). Cleaning fee is $125. Minimum stay 3 nights. No discount for long stays. Maximum stay 3 months, with 1 required 4 hour clean per month by owners.

The property was amazing. The hot tub was a perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Would have been nice to have a fan or something for white noise. The house was incredibly clean and well-stocked!!

A fun, cute place with all the amenities you can ask for. Very convenient to all kinds of outdoor activities in Basalt and Aspen. Lovely to be right on the Roaring Fork River. Easy check-in, and if you are staying longer than we did, you will have a full-size washer and dryer.

This place is amazing it’s right on Roaring Forks River & the scenery is amazing & also has a jacuzzi right outside the door - we went in the jacuzzi in a snowstorm & it’s was absolutely the best experience - the place is spectacular there are 2 electric fireplaces that also provide heat under the living room & master bedroom TV’s & the kitchen & living room & MB are awesome huge bed & very spacious kitchen & living areas - the best part is the owners they are unbelievably great people that just want you to have a great time & they left me pastry in the morning & also they are involved in the downhills amongst business & are great entrepreneurs & have developed safe inflatable ski gates for downhill competition - I will say this you could not ask for a better place to stay & better hosts I will be going here again & again

We liked the personal introduction we got from Alexandra. The location was terrific, tranquil, and relaxing. The sweet dogs were an added bonus! We highly recommend staying here and we can't wait to return our next time in Carbondale.

I love this place. It is very well done in all aspects. Clean & conveniently located to both Glenwood Springs & Carbondale. Very well appointed with cooking apparatus. The property is beautiful and is located right on the Roaring Fork River. You have access to the bike path to town, right next to the bike path, and is less than a 10 minute ride to the Red Hill trail system for mt biking. Alexandra and Stefan were amazing hosts.

Cozy and Relaxing Waterfront Hideaway

This location was great. Very peaceful. Right next to the river which was really nice to see and hear. It was perfect for my wife and I to stay at. We had a hot tub but we didn't have time to use it. Our host was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend. Close to Glenwood Springs and Aspen.

Gracious host with a well stocked, modernized home in a beautiful secluded setting. Dogs are friendly but not intrusive. Fish from shore, or walk or bike on the well maintained and paved trail.

Beautiful, clean, new, convenient to town & recreational activities. All the kitchen amenities you could want. Owners are great people. I cannot say enough good things & have already rebooked another stay.

Beautiful tranquil secluded property right on roaring fork river. Hosts very helpful and super friendly. Fully stocked kitchen, & lots for extras like laundry and shower items. Walk or bike Rio Grande trl right by the property and easy walk into carbondale for shopping and meals if you choose. Bonus is their sweet friendly dogs that love to play fetch.Very special spot that you won't be disappointed in!!

Great place right on the river.

Neat property right on a river bend. Walk into the town of Carbondale and walk up to great hiking red rock/ Mushroom Rock trail. Sights of Sopras Mountain out onside and Mushroom Rock the other way.

Magical Location

Stefan and Alexandra were lovely and friendly hosts, their two dogs were absolutely adorable. I felt so safe on their property, and so incredibly comfortable; the bedroom was amazing, with a visual flickering fireplace, king size bed, very comfortable guest mattress if you have an additional person. The location was a rare property right on the river. You can hear the road but it's not a problem,. You can sit by the river near the pine trees, very beautiful!
