The Space:
The Frost’s own this lovely home and have coined it, Tahoe Frost! This stays chilly year round with AC in the Summer and extra snow during the Winter! This home is in the famous Christmas Valley area of South Lake Tahoe which is off the beaten path and known for more snow fall. This large home is perfect for a quiet family reunion with 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and large game room, complete with a foosball and pool table. What else do you really need?

TAHOE RENTAL ORDINANCE
The following laws were set forth by the county and apply to every home in Tahoe. They were put in place to keep Lake Tahoe an enjoyable and safe place to visit for years to come!
1. The hot tub cannot be used after 10pm (if this home has one)
2. 10pm - 8am is the county quiet time for all rentals.
3. Trash cannot be left outside and must go into the bear box.
4. We cannot host extra people or allow parties.
5. We cannot accomodate extra cars, parking on the street or dirt.
PLEASE NOTE: Neighbors may alert the police who will issue fines to guests found to be in violation. In order to protect this owner’s permit we do reserve the right to ask guests to leave this home. This is a very rare occurrence and one we hate doing so we do our best to warn our guests before it comes to this.
6. The number of overnight occupants shall not exceed two persons per permitted bedroom. Children six years of age or older are counted towards the occupancy limits.

Tahoe Frost is a pet free home, so please leave your fur babies at home. The only exception is for documented service animals, which are allowed. Please be aware of California Penal Code 365.7 which covers Service Dog Fraud. Guests who bring a pet that is not authorized by us beforehand will be asked to leave and an additional cleaning fee will be applied.

You will check in by going right to the home using our keyless entry system. Your door code is the last 4 digits of your booking phone number followed by the check mark button that will activate at 4pm. Make sure to pull the door toward you when you put the code in to ensure the deadbolt is aligned. We have a 24 hour customer care team and a local team available during business hours.

Great stay!

We had a great stay here for 2 families with a total of 9 people. Large bedrooms, great game room upstairs, dining table for 8. The home was clean, 30 min from Kirkwood and cozy. Only thing that would have made it perfect was firewood and an ice maker!

Great Spot for a Ski Trip!

There were 10 of us, and everyone was comfortable! We were sore after skiing and didn’t want to go out one night, the game room upstairs kept everyone entertained without having to go out into the cold

Family trip for my sons 13th birthday success

This place was absolutely perfect!! We had plenty of rooms and beds with the perfect game room for our boys ages 8-19! They brought their play station and had the time of their lives! Neighbors were incredibly friendly and waved as they’d drive by seeing the kids play in the snow! Super close to shopping centers and casinos! Our family had a wonderful time and we had fast responses when we had to reach out to our host! Easy check in and effortless!

Great house, missing homely items

The house itself is amazing! Structure is great for family trips. Super cozy and feels like home. Only complaint was basic kitchen needs for a big family. The house does not have big pots/pans, blender, nor basic everyday utensils. No shampoo, soap, wash necessities etc. I would definitely recommend for families that do not cook at home. Other than that, loved the game room and home setup!

Nice Vacation from San Diego

We all enjoyed the house. The beds were all comfortable, luckily we bought enough blankets for everyone, in case the ones provided were old and overly used, but we really didn't need them. The upstairs game room was fun. The Foosball table was sturdier than we thought it would be, (nice), and the pool table was in great condition. The garage was big enough for both the van, with the cargo on top, and SUV. We enjoyed the wild animals; a bear and a few of the blue birds 🐦 which we managed to get a few good photos 📸 of. Overall I rate the house 9 out of ten. The temperature inside and the accommodations were great. The ladies are outstanding cooks and thought there should have saran wrap and some foil to cover food in the fridge to avoid smells, oil for cooking, and a kettle to boil water, but they mentioned that they enjoyed the house.

Great Location and Management

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. When we arrived the house smelled great, had soft jazz playing throughout, and lights were on to greet us. After a long drive it was like walking right into our own vacation retreat. The house was well stocked, all amenities worked great, and the upstairs game room was fun for the kids. A short drive to skiing at Kirkwood, we loved the location. Additionally the management company communicated with us regularly, answered questions we had, and was very helpful. We will be sure to stay here again! Thanks for the memories!

Great Family lodging

We had such a great experience here. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, as well as great space for being all together. The game room was definitely a favorite of the teenagers. And the living room provided the cozy atmosphere we had hoped for. What a great place for our family!!

Great size

The property was big enough for our entire family, spouses and kids. But need to beware that not all rooms have closets for hanging clothes up. Office hide away bed, needs to be replaced, had a difficult time getting the bed out, and foot sloped to the floor. And the bunk room, could not use the trundle as the queen bed made it too tight to pull out. Need to consider moving out the queen or rearranging the furniture. Although the kitchen was big enough, the one large burner on the stove needs to have the striker repaired. And having a BBQ grill would be really nice. Driveway was really short and tight for larger vehicles. We couldn’t add garbage to the bear box, but we were there when it was collected so we did get all of our trash picked.

Cozy and amazing location.

We loved this place! It was the perfect getaway. My brother wanted a golfing weekend so this was a perfect location. We played incline village, Tahoe paradise and Edgewood for his 34th bday weekend. All were close by. Stateline; downtown casinos and heavenly are only about a 10-15 min drive. The home is cozy and has an inviting and warm feel in a very quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

Family Friendly Home

This was our second time staying in the home. We enjoyed every minute. The layout is perfect for multiple families with kids. The management staff was very responsive to all our questions. We would stay here again.

The house is really nice and clean very comfortable for the 11 people. The location is average. It’s too bad the check In time is so late in the afternoon, 4:00 pm and the check out time is too early 10:00 am.

Poor Experience staying 2 nights

Weather was quite chilly and I called up upfront to confirm if there is wood for fireplace. It was confirmed there is wood so we did not take with us. 1) There was no wood at all and we reached quite late in eve, house was very cold, kids were shivering. 2) We requested for early check-in and they charged us $60 for that (to move checkin time from 4 PM to 12 PM), we reached around 6 PM and even then: 1) Driveway was full of snow, we spent hours to get to garage and clean up the snow. 2) Getting to front door was almost impossible as it was all packed upto 6 feet of snow, somehow we managed to get to the door. IT WAS JUST NOT IN POSITION TO CHECK IN. THERE WAS ZERO EFFORT TO MAKE IT READY. NO WAY TO GET IN THE HOUSE, EVEN NOT IN DRIVE WAY. 2) Next day morning we called up again and requested for snow removal. They confirmed but no one showed up. We had to again cleanup to atleat manage drive way. House inside was OK but terrible management. I would suggest not to spoil your trip and stay away!

The house was perfect! There was plenty of space for us to hang out together, but also enough space for privacy. The game room was a huge hit for the kids and adults alike. It was nice that people go be upstairs playing and being loud in the game room while others could sit quietly downstairs making a puzzle. There wasn't much snow when we were there, but we still played in the little bit of snow there was in the backyard. The location was great too.

All the necessities were present. Kids love the game room. Only problem was the game room wasn't cleaned. Floor and couch were littered with pomegranate seeds. After a little bit cleaning on our own the property was very nice and cozy.
