Waterfront (Sunset-front) 4BR/3BA Family Getaway

Built May 2017. Cottage is set one house back from Atlantic Avenue and sits directly on the Webhannet River. This quiet, convenient location offers privacy from traffic and easy access to the beach for your summer getaway. Features modern finishes, SS appliances, and custom furnishings. Five outdoor decks/living areas to enjoy the abundant ocean and river views.

GROUND LEVEL: Offers 2-3 car tandem parking along a 10’ wide right-of-way corridor; length of cars will determine whether 3 cars fit. Private outdoor hot/cold shower. Large gas grill and outdoor bar/lounge set. Small lawn area. Corn hole, beach chairs, toys all provided. Bring your own kayaks/canoes/paddle-boards and launch right off our seawall into the river.

FIRST FLOOR: Open-concept kitchen/dining/living with expansive water views over the river and marsh. Fully stocked kitchen, walk-in pantry, island bar seating and dining table seats 8-10. Outdoor dining table seats 8-11 on deck directly off the kitchen/living area. Entry area for shoes and beach bags. Full bath with stall shower. Bedroom behind kitchen with pull-out couch (American Leather 'Queen Plus' temperpedic mattress). Living area sectional, swivel rocker, and 4 storage ottomans offers flexibility for use.

SECOND FLOOR: Covered, eastern-facing deck with ocean/beach views - a morning sunshine coffee deck. Master suite (king) w/large walk-in closet, double-vanity bath and walk-in shower. Full-capacity side-by-side W/D in hall closet with ample counter space for folding. Expansive western-facing, partially-covered 'sunset' deck with ample seating for relaxing.

THIRD FLOOR: Bedroom (king) with ocean views connecting to a private south-facing deck. 'Bunkroom' has a built-in bunk and a 2nd bunk with pull-out trundle. Full bath with tub/shower.

OTHER AMENITIES:
- All 5 decks/outdoor living areas are outfitted with comfy furniture for dining and lounging.
- Quick, easy access to Wells Beach between Public Way 8 and 9.
- Wired AC units in Living Room, Master, and each of the 3rd floor bedrooms.
- Wi-Fi and 4 wall-mounted 50-60" smart TVs throughout.
- For your convenience, we provide paper products, kitchen wrap/foil, basic condiments, bath soap, laundry detergent, propane for the grill, ass't beach toys and beach chairs.
- All bed and bath linens are provided; beds are made upon your arrival and baths are fully stocked with plenty of towels. Guest need only bring beach towels.

NOTE RE PARKING: Please take note that the property accommodates 2-3 cars parked in tandem along a 10' wide corridor between a fence and the house. This means it'll be tight getting in/out of your car. It is not a good rental for those with trouble parking in tight spaces, those looking to host a crowd with guests in and out, or those with large, over-sized vehicles. There are metered day-lots nearby and overnight parking is available at the Wells Train station across from Exit 19 off Rt 95.

This house is amazing. The view is incredible! We saw bald eagles and harriers from the dining room table! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything from lots of silverware to a cocktail shaker! The bedrooms are comfy!! Everything was clean and cute! Loved the decor! We had a great time with parents and our kids. Easy walk to an incredible beach! Magical! Hosts were great! No issues. Thank you for sharing your home.

Relaxing stay at the perfect Maine getaway

We had a wonderful time in this beach house. The location was perfect for our family vacation. I loved the amazing views of the sound behind the house. The sunsets were truly spectacular from any of the back decks. We loved how thoughtfully the house was designed to provide lots of communal space on the second floor and then plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax on the upper bedroom floors. The owners were great communicators and we found the house easily with their instructions. Parking is at a premium in Wells Beach but the driveway worked for our bigger rental suv and we appreciated the easy storage space below the house to store beach gear and clean up after a day on the beach. The house was great for cooking meals and we appreciated the bbq grill as well. We didn’t need it but the ac units were nice to have just in case. There are plenty of stairs so might be something to consider for older family members and very young children. We had no trouble with them and loved the elevated views from the house. Thanks for hosting us, Renee. We hope to return again one day soon.

Such a gem!

We had such a wonderful visit! Renee was a very responsive, kind host and it’s evident by the thoughtful decoration that she and her husband take pride in the property. The house was just as described, with gorgeous sunset views of the marsh. Very clean and comfortable. This was our second attempt at staying here, due to an unfortunate cancellation on our part, and I’m so glad it lived up to our expectations. Plenty of room for my husband and I, our almost-4 year old and my mom. We even had a couple of visitors stop by and all fit quite nicely with room to spare. The only downside is the parking limitation but the hosts and listing are very upfront about this, so we knew what to expect. It’s a small price to pay for being so close to the beach. Parking at the jetty is an easy half mile walk back. We’re looking forward to our next stay!

Family Weekend on the Beach

We’ve been coming to this property for five years, and each stay somehow feels better than the last. It’s the perfect spot for our family to relax, recharge, and enjoy Maine’s natural beauty. The home is always clean, well-appointed, and comfortable—clearly cared for with great attention to detail.During our most recent stay, a few small things came up, and the hosts were exceptionally responsive and kind, going above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of quickly. Their communication and hospitality are just another reason we keep coming back year after year.Highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone looking for a special place to create lasting memories.

Perfect Place and Location

We had a 3-generation family weekend and loved everything about it. The house has everything you need, is laid out in a way that everyone has space and privacy, and everything from furniture to mattresses was super comfortable. Initially we thought we might be missing out by not being directly on the ocean, but we actually found that we preferred the river side. We could watch the area transform with the changing tides and whenever we wanted to spend time on the ocean side it was literally across the street. In short, everyone had what they wanted when they wanted it. Parking was tight, but the owners were very upfront and clear about that (and it is typical for all homes in the area). We were able to leave a couple of cars for overnight parking at a lot about 10 minutes away from the house. While at the house you feel like you're away from everything but in reality, you're literally just a few minutes from grocery stores, etc if you need something. We are a family who typically likes to explore new areas but everyone said they would happily return to this place (which says a lot).

Our GO TO refuge when we visit Maine

The property is conveniently located steps from the beach. Cozy newly renovated home. All the amenities you can imagine. We stay here each Christmas. Host and hostess are very responsive.

Wonderful!

Great home, great location, great views from all the decks, and all in one package! The home was very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of amenities. We had a 2-minute walk to the beach and a 10–15-minute walk to the center of town. The home is very convenient to Wells (of course), Ogunquit and Kennebunk. Plenty of dining and things to do with the kids. As others have commented, the only thing is the parking. You can only fit, at best, 2 SUV's so folks might want to plan ahead if additional parking is needed. Both Aaron and Renee were great hosts and available if needed. We definitely recommend this home, and we will rent again!

Beautiful Views

Sit back and relax with a glass of rosé on one of the many decks and take in the beautiful views!! My family and I enjoyed a week long stay at this gorgeous home. Directly across the beach, we were able to walk across the street and enjoy some beach days. The home is also very close to Kennebunkport for a fun day of shopping and is also close to Ogunquit for some night life. A five star stay!

Weekend in Wells

Absolutely beautiful house right on the water, incredibly clean and exactly as the pictures show. It is a perfect layout for multiple people/couples, plenty of space and beds. The multiple decks on the house with different views allowed us to spend plenty of time outside without even having to leave the house. The house has everything you could possibly need and more and Renee was so helpful/thoughtful our entire stay. Can’t recommend this rental enough!

A little slice of heaven

My husband and two kids had a wonderful stay. House is beautiful and location is everything. We enjoyed several of the decks for sunsets and sunrises. We especially loved front deck for people watching, sunrises, and listening to waves. A one minute walk to gorgeous Wells beach. I imagine this neighborhood is bumping in season, but was quiet and relaxing in April. Highly recommend.

Amazing sunset, peace, nature

The property is relatively new, meticulously maintained. Light and bright. Wonderful clean and soft linens. We have stayed here for 3 or 4 consecutive years. Hosts are terrific, responsive and very organized. I usually come home and implement some of their ideas in my own home. I always find that i need more time to leave beyond 10 AM....maybe i'm just disorganized.

Spectacular weekend in Wells

This house is beautiful and well maintained. It's super comfortable place to enjoy the ocean and the amazing sunsets. Sit on the back porch with a great glass of wine and you have a superb sunset!

Perfect vacation spot. The weather prevented us from enjoying the numerous decks, lower level outdoor sitting area, and kayaks. We appreciated the comprehensive resource binder and took advantage of the recommendations it contained.

Wonderful Stay

This property was a wonderful vacation for my family - the home is a great set up - plenty of amenities. The access to the beach and the sunsets over the Webhannet River are terrific. The owners were very accessable and responsive.

Please use insurance

Great location near public way to the beach. You probably will not enjoy the river as it is pretty far out and muddy to get there (forget the picture with the kayaks). We strongly suggest you take the insurance option, we were charged an extra 200$ on top of the 300$ cleaning fee(TOTAL 500$!!!) because we left our garbage in our rooms bine while the large bine outside was full and we did not want any animals to make a mess, thus we had a spill in the stair (leaking garbage bags). I guess some people try to make money any way they can. But great place overall

It's western facing and direct waterfront. It's directly on the river so it offers direct access when you want to kayak, boat, fish or jump off the sandbars in the river (like our kids do). You're treated to wide views of unobstructed sunsets with ever-changing views over the marsh as tides come in and out. It's very peaceful when you want a break from the ocean yet beach access is mere steps away. It's quick and painless to run back and forth from the house to the beach. For us, truly the best of both worlds!

Wells Beach is very family-friendly with a wide open sandy beach that goes out forever at low tide. In addition to the beach you have lots of open spaces to explore- the jetties, the harbor, the marsh. It's away from hustle and bustle yet super convenient to groceries, restaurants, and lots of shops. It's unplugged time to reconnect with family and friends. Or time to just be alone with the views!
