Quiet tree top home

We had 4 adults visiting Seattle to see family. House was nestled at the end of a quiet road and we enjoyed wine and cheese on the big porch as soon as we arrived. Owner was very responsive for one minor request we had. Would love to come back.

Inaccurate descriptions made this stay frustrating

My 8-month pregnant wife, our 3 dogs, and I stayed at this unit for a little over a week and it was miserable. I write this review hoping the listing/descriptions get updated - book with caution.1. This home was listed as a house, but it is clearly a guest house. The "private" balcony is connected with the host's balcony, exiting the front door peers directly into the host's home and the garage space is a shared with the host. This unit lacks any sort of privacy because of this.2. The pictures are deceiving and the listing did not state that the entrance to the unit is on the 2nd floor. The long flight of stairs was extremely difficult for my pregnant wife and letting our dogs out to the bathroom . If we knew this beforehand, we would not have booked this unit. 3. The listing also states it has Air Conditioning, which was not true. 2 tower fans only circulated the heat and was very uncomfortable. Temperatures often reached high 70s as heat rose to the 2nd floor.4. The listing claims there is an EV Charger and after arriving, we were told the 120v outlet (level 1) outside the garage as the "charger". This amenity does not exist and was incorrectly listed in the description. 5. I would not describe this unit as "pet friendly." The "yard" was a small patch of weedy grass in between the host's home and the unit. There is no fencing and as mentioned before, its a 2nd floor unit which means up and down stairs to take the dogs out.

**Context for Future Guests:** - Undisclosed Pets: Tyler's reservation explicitly stated *zero pets* during the booking process. We later discovered three undisclosed dogs. As a courtesy, we adjusted the pet fee to cover only two dogs, despite the policy breach. Tyler expressed dissatisfaction with this fee. - EV Charger Confirmation: Tyler's wife confirmed via text that the EV outlet was located, stating: "We found the outlet plug but was thinking it was a true EV charger level 2." This acknowledgment directly refutes claims about the amenity and raises questions about the overall accuracy of the review. - No Reported Issues: At no point during the 11-day stay did Tyler or his wife raise concerns about privacy, stairs, or amenities. All claims surfaced only after departure. This context underscores discrepancies in the review and reaffirms our commitment to transparency. We welcome open communication from all our guests and are always available to address any questions or concerns to ensure a comfortable stay.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
