You've discovered listing for a luxurious one bedroom condo on the top 6th floor. Condo was was fully remodeled in Fall 2012. Granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, tile floors, travertine bathroom, two 40' LED TVs.
Convenient floor plan allows unobstructed views of the ocean bay and West Maui mountains from every room, literally one can watch whales while still in bed (whales are not included)
Each of the rooms has independent entry to large shared lanai (balcony).
Condo amenities include central A/C (both rooms), wireless internet, cable, dedicated parking spot, king-size bed with luxury plush mattress. For additional guests we can offer unfoldable couch and/or queen-sized air-mattresses.
Kauhale Makai (Hawaiian for Village by the Sea) amenities include manicured garden-like grounds, pool, shallow kid's pool, hot tub, shuffle board, putting green, well-maintained outdoor BBQ grills, coin-operated laundry facilities on same floor, elevator, concierge services.
Building is location in Central Kihei offers convenient access to all Maui attractions, shopping and transportation. Nearest supermarket, shopping plaza is about 0.5 miles away - can walk, Wailea is 5.5 miles away, Airport - 11 miles, Lahaina 21 mile, Costco, Walmart - 10 miles, renowned Ma'alaea Aquarium - 7 miles, Haleakala crater - 32 miles.
Of course, many of Kauhale Makai guests choose to spend relaxing days on property, enjoying pool, BBQ, cocktails on lanai, unbelievable tropical sunsets from the beach, and wrapping up the day soaking in hot tub.
We believe that our condo will be most comfortable for a couple or for a family with 1 or 2 children.

* CONSTRUCTION UPDATE*
Our condo complex goes through a long term project which involves renovation of external surfaces of the buildings. In July 2018 the work has started on our building. So far the impact on guests has been minimal. However as the work progresses, in few months, perhaps as early as second half of January 2019 the construction activity will be more noticeable to our guests. The work is intermittent , workers are not coming every day, and there will be no construction activity on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. Some phases of construction will result in elevated levels of noise. Most importantly, there will be a period of time, perhaps 2-3 weeks, when exterior of our condo will be renovated. During this time the access to our lanai will be closed. The exact dates of these closures will be announced 3-4 weeks before the work starts, at which point we'll promptly share this information with affected guests. We recognize that these repairs will inconvenience our guests, and for all those affected by these repairs we'll offer a choice b/n 100% refund or a discount off regular rate, to compensate for the inconvenience. If you plan to stay in our condo during the period from Jan 2018 through June 2019, please be aware of the possibility of construction activities, and talk to us if you have any questions.
On Dec 15, 2018 building management has announced that our lanai definitely WON'T be closed in Dec 2018 through first half of Jan 2019. We'll be be updating this page as more information becomes available.
