We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. We loved being on the quieter side of Acadia. The house was clean and exactly as pictured. Check-in was smooth. We highly recommend this property.

Greetings and thank you for your review. The quieter side of Acadia describes it well and I am glad that you found the house to your liking. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and hope that you made some great memories!
Nice, quiet area. House was very clean , comfortable and pet friendly. A bit of a drive to get to towns or activities but it was off-season when we went. Ample parking. Owner prompt and courteous when contacted with a question.

Thank you for your review. I am so glad you had a comfortable stay. Corea has largely remained a quiet fishing village and that is the charm and beauty of the place. There is the smaller Schoodic Peninsula section of Acadia which is just under 8 miles away . There you drive or bike the park loop road with beautiful vistas, hiking trail and camping. Also, in the town of Winter Harbor there are a nice selection of restaurants, a small grocery store 5&10 and gas station. Hope you made some lovely memories!
Comfortable quiet stay in a nice location. Stairs are very steep to second floor and the first floor a bit musty but overall a pleasant experience.Go across the street for steamers!!

Thanks for your review and positive feedback! Although we can't do anything about the steep stairs, we will make sure that this is clearer in the listing and include more pictures. The Lunch on the Wharf eatery is indeed a very relaxing way enjoy some great seafood and to catch the breezes while watching the boats in the harbor. Thanks for renting with us!
Stunning location. House was clean and well supplied. Sit on the porch and enjoy the view. Close to Acadia. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Jenn, I'm glad you had such a great time. The porch is a very relaxing spot to watch the harbor and catch the ocean breezes. Thank you again for renting the PorchView!
Sooo quiet!!! Such a peaceful location! Well stocked kitchen, large bedroom, bathroom, enough living space for the 4 of us. The only thing to be aware of is the steep stairs the dogs mastered them but could be a good thing to be aware of if anyone is challenged. So much fun to meet the ownerswe really enjoyed lunch date with them! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Thank you for your review. It was great to meet you both and have lunch with you at The Bell Buoy. The weather was perfect. It is a beautiful village. I'm so glad you found the PorchView kitchen to be well stocked and the accommodations to your liking. We will be sure to alert prospective guests to the feed back about the stairs. It is helpful and much appreciated.

This property has both good and bad! First off, the host is Amazing and accommodating! The house is in an off the beaten path cute little seaside community! It’s eerily quiet, but so relaxing! The house is old and smells musty, it is cut into two rentals, so you are sharing very thin walls! The stairs are a death trap, which then is blocked at the bottom and top by unnecessary decor making them even more dangerous! Could be a super experience if you’re prepared for how minimal the amenities are! It’s well water so bring bottled water. In all, besides the stair death traps, it has amazing potential if the owner worries less about decor and more about comfort!

The house is in a lovely, small village, just across from the water (though you can't see the water from any of the rooms but you can hop across the road and take in the pretty scene). It's defintiely clean, but beware that if there are renters in the adjoining unit you will hear everything happening in their space through the walls and the shared doors. If you try to open some of the doors they are obstructed by beds on the other side-it feels a little awkward. It could be an improvement to have signs on the doors noting that they belong to the other unit (and not to the one you are staying in) but that still won't help with all of the noise (kids, barking dogs, conversatons, music, etc) that come through the shared walls. Maybe some sound-proofing? The host was very responsive with several small issues
