This cottage is exactly as promised! Those views are amazing ( you must get up at sunrise at least one morning ), the star gazing is incredible and the fire pit with ALL things you need including the smores stuff. The cottage is Very Clean, very well maintained and super cozy and private. So many little added amenities to make this cottage special. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at this gorgeous property for a week during our annual hiking trip. The property was just as described. Clean, excellent host communication, and easy drives away to trail heads! Absolutely loved it. Would love to stay again.

We had an excellent 10 day stay. The home was clean and bright and the views were spectacular. We really appreciated having outdoor seating in several locations around the property, including seating for star gazing. The host was very responsive to our questions. We enjoyed watching morning sunrises, birds, and lobster boats. Everything in the description and pictures were accurate. We also really liked the location off a quiet road for us taking our early morning walks. This is a place you don't want to leave and you can't wait to come back.

Beautiful home, gorgeous views and peaceful, quiet setting. Many thoughtful details throughout. We loved playing corn hole and roasting marshmallows by the bonfire, sitting on the stargazing platform late at night and enjoying coffee and breakfast at the picnic table overlooking the water in the morning. Full kitchen, air conditioning and heat, bedding for comfortable pull-out sofa for extra sleeping space. We highly recommend!

Beautiful cozy cottage with all the amenities we needed. Has a great view and entertaining wildlife on the water. We were visited by ducks, loons, gulls, eagles, and otters in our short stay. The hosts were very helpful and everything was as stated or better.

Great place and hosts

My family stayed here for a couple days while touring UMaine campus. This cottage is great... very nice inside with personal touches and right on the Atlantic ocean. We really enjoyed the bonfire and star gazing platform. We will visit again!

Absolutely perfect

We were here just a short time and wished we could have stayed longer! Everything was perfect and the hosts provided so many little things that made our stay effortless. The view was insane and the house was immaculate and so cozy. We would love to visit again.

25th Anniversary

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Compass Point! The cottage style atmosphere is beautiful and it’s easy to see that lots of thought was put into each and every detail inside. I wish words could explain our experience. It was truly magical. It’s was so peaceful and tranquil. The scenery from the deck over the water was breathtaking. The house felt very loving and peaceful. My wife and 2 kids felt very secure and happy there which means everything. The host was great and you could tell that hospitality JS very important to them. We will be back, cannot wait to see the lobster boats again some day.
