Incantevole Bar Harbor Cottage

Questo affascinante casolare rustico si trova a un minuto a piedi da una bellissima spiaggia rocciosa che dista 450 m. Nella bellissima baia di Scafi. Puoi camminare per miglia. Cammina verso le grotte chiamate "The Oven’s" http: // leavetheworldbelow. blogspot. com / 2017/10 / la-devils-forno-mount-desert-isola. htmlSono cinque minuti dal centro di Bar Harbor e tre minuti dall'ingresso del parco di Hulls Cove. È a cinque minuti a piedi dalla navetta gratuita (The Island Explorer) Far Niente è tranquillo e silenzioso. Ha una bella terrazza circondata da pini dove è possibile rilassarsi e fare un barbecue dopo una giornata nel parco. Far Niente (che significa "non fare nulla") è dotato di tutti i comfort. Far Niente è un bellissimo cottage nel bosco, e sì abbiamo un visitatore occasionale di insetti.

Da novembre a fine aprile la camera da letto della cabina è chiusa.

My husband and I enjoyed our visit to this cozy cabin with our dog on our first visit to Mt. Desert Island. It was full of detail and charm. It felt like the perfect size for a couple's getaway. The dog really enjoyed sleeping by the gas fire place as well. It met our needs for the week and very conveniently located as we hiked throughout the island. We also enjoyed having a little distance from the touristy bar harbor. Thank you John!

Perfect location, secluded outdoor space

Had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Perfectly located near Hulls Cove, close to Pirates Cove, a short walk to the ocean, and quick drive to downtown Bar Harbor. Especially loved the seated area for reading, and the private outdoor space and separate back bedroom. Perfect breeze at night!

A gem of a property, quiet wooded setting yet close to hiking and biking and in-town fun.The nicest host. Who makes it easy to feel immediately relaxed and at home. Beautiful spot!

Super cozy space, excellent location just a short drive from Bar Harbor. Appreciated the fenced in yard for our dog, and the guitar since we were there to make some music. :)We can't wait to visit again!

We had the most perfect vacation! This house and host are wonderful. John has thought of everything and the charm abounds! The location is perfect, close enough to Bar Harbor center but far enough away to have some peace and quiet. The short walk to the water is beautiful. We highly recommend this property!
We had breakfast on the deck every morning.

Our expectations were high, and the place was even more charming than we expected. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable, beautifully designed and decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools we needed from making our morning coffee to cooking a lobster dinner. Although it is close to town, the dense woods made it feel cozy and secluded. The host was incredibly thoughtful, and always available to answer questions. This was a unique property, and we are hoping to come back again soon.

Adorable cottage and attentive host

The cottage was a great time for my partner and I. We wanted a relaxing getaway for our anniversary and this place provided just that! Very close to Bar Harbor and fairly easy to navigate the area. John stayed in touch and truly showed that he wanted us to have a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at John's charming cottage! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cottage was immaculately clean, cozy, and full of charm—truly a perfect retreat. It had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen which made cooking meals super convenient.The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, offering a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring. We also loved the location—just minutes from Acadia’s Hulls Cove Visitor Center and only about 10 minutes from Bar Harbor village center. It couldn’t have been more convenient.One of the best parts for us was that the cottage is pet-friendly, which made it possible for us to bring our furry family member along on the trip—such a bonus!John was a fantastic host—very helpful, responsive, and welcoming. His attention to detail really made our stay easy and enjoyable.We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would gladly come back for another stay!

This charming little cottage with a loft bedroom, a gas wood stove, deck and the Cabin Bedroom affords some quiet, private time in a wooded neighborhood to finish your busy day, biking on the carriage trails or hiking in the Park. Close to Bar Harbor, you can still be in town quickly but enjoy the respite of not being right in town. And we do not charge a cleaning fee .
