Cozy at a great location.
Great feedback and advice from owners, very prompt.
Perfect Winter Getaway
Our second stay at Far Niente was just as lovely as the first. The cottage is warm, inviting, and has all the amenities the two of us need for a long winter weekend away from work. It offers easy access to all the hiking trails of Acadia and is also a great place to hole up for the day when the weather is a bit wicked for outside adventures. John is the perfect host: immediately attentive to calls and emails but also extremely respectful of our privacy. We will be back!
Thanks so much for the great review . Hope your back soon .
Everything we where hoping for . Clean , quiet , beautifully appointed and close to all
Cozy, quaint cottage in prime location
My family of three visited for a long weekend in November. We wanted to be located in proximity to Bar Harbor, but in a quiet community. This was the perfect location. The cottage is cozy and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The best part was the gas fireplace that was connected to the thermostat. It kept us toasty each night when the temperatures dropped. John, the owner, was very communicative prior to our arrival and made us feel right at home. We look forward to visiting again.
Thank you very much . Please do visit us again .
Lovely place .Clean, charming, stocked with the essentials. location is close to the park
We had a sudden death in the family preventing us from staying beyond our first day at the house. I called John to let him know and he immediately ( without my even suggesting it) offered to send me a check for the unused portion of our reservation. Then I received the sweetest condolence note. We will be back !
Quaint & peaceful!!!
We spent 3 nights & felt very comfortable! Good location and close to Acadia park! Loved the fact that the owner was very accommodating and easy to reach!
