Havudsigt med bagud og forreste Lanai. Golf 5 minutter væk! Vores ejerlejlighed er beliggende i det fredelige samfund i Makaha Valley. Makaha er land og væk fra den store by! Det er en af de historiske ældre dele af øen og har den 'rigtige' Hawaii-fornemmelse. Vi har haft det godt at bo der på fuld tid sammen med vores børn. Samfundet tilbyder mange faciliteter. Fireogtyve timers indgang til gated / afskærmning, 2 svømmebassiner, kortaktiveret vaskeri, kiddy pool, grillpladser, tennis og basketballbaner. Vi har dit havlegetøj og tennisracket! Denne ejendom har et smukt velplejet tropisk landskab med absolut smukke påfugle der strejfer rundt.
WiFi-forbindelse samt kabel-tv og 60 i Smart TV + WIFI. En af de eneste enheder med 2 aircondition-enhed i opholdsstue og soveværelse med fans i alle soveværelser. Dalen har normalt en meget flot ø-brise, og med vores enhed i modsætning til de fleste i området med en front- og bagud-Lanai, er det mest underholdende.
Der er to nedenunder soveværelser og to loft soveværelser op i vindeltrappen. Alle undtagen soveværelset (privat) er åbent koncept. Der er et stort badeværelse med en lang, granit bordplade med to dræn.
Det fuldt udstyrede køkken har alt hvad du har brug for. Du finder smukke apparater i rustfrit stål inklusive en opvaskemaskine!
Enheden er på anden sal, så der er en række trapper at komme ind.
Fra den forreste Lanai har du et privat hav og bjergudsigt med lejlighedsvis regnbuer og vandfald. Fra bagsiden Lanai vil du elske det åbne grønne område med grill. Under lejligheden er der en fuld tennisbane.
Du har adgang til en gratis parkeringsplads og vaskeri på stedet. Øbussen har også et stop foran komplekset.
Waianae-bådhavnen ligger 10 minutter væk med adgang til dybhavsfiskeri og delfinudflugter.
Bare den ene kilometer ad gaden ligger den berømte Makaha-strand. Du kan tage en fornøjelig gåtur til golfbanen med udsigt over bjergene og havet og Makaha Valley Golf Club med spisning, golf og mere. Hvis du nyder strande, golf, fiskeri og shopping uden skarer, vil du elske det lige så meget som os! Waikiki er en time væk, hvis du beslutter at være en "by" for dagen.
Lufthavnen ligger 45 minutter væk. Shopping, kommercielle restauranter, biograferne og et vandland for børnene ligger i Kapolei kun 25 minutters kørsel væk. Koolina resort er 20 minutter væk med 4 smukke laguner, paradis cove luau og det nye Disney resort! Restauranter, købmandsforretninger og fastfood (McDonalds, burger king, pizzahytte osv.) Ligger 5 minutter væk. I paradisøens butik nede ad vejen kan du planlægge en udflugter og / eller leje alt strandudstyr (snorkeludstyr, surfbræt, boogiebrætter osv.). Vi vil også have nogle tavler og snorkeludstyr til dig.

Great place for a long Oahu vacation

I would have to say that this was the best vacation we ever had. I have so much mahalo to have been able to spend 30 days in Oahu with our family. Makaha Valley is about an hour to an hour and half drive from many of the attractions on the Island, but when you’re spending 30 days there and going through the scenic beauty, it really doesn’t matter. We absolutely loved Makaha Beach park. The beach was beautiful, it was never crowded, and there’s a shave ice truck parked there every day. The condo was perfect for our family of 6. We really enjoyed the pool and the pickle ball/ tennis courts, and the 24 hour security was great and were also very friendly. It did get hot inside the condo though on very hot days since there isn’t central air, but I don’t think most homes in beach communities have central air. The ac units were helpful though, especially the one in the bedroom. In addition, my husband and I were working while we were there and never had an issue with the internet, even with 4 other people using the WiFi. Penny was very easy to get a hold of and communicate with and we really enjoyed staying at her condo. This trip was definitely one for the memory books! Mahalo!!!

Great place!!

We are so thankful we found this spot for our month-long stay on the West Coast. It’s great if you want to be away from the busyness and touristiness of Honolulu. Very local. ❤️ Our children loved the loft bedrooms, though as parents we definitely had to watch our heads on the beams, as noted in the listing!😀 The pools are great and there are many nearby trails and beaches. Fantastic and speedy communication with the host! Hot tip for families and book lovers… You can get a three month statewide public library pass for $10 and their children’s section at the local branch is great!

Amazing rental property in Oahu

We were a family of 6, this was made up from 4 adults and 2 children. This property is great, has everything you need and more. The owners are so easy to contact and go over and above to answer questions and make your stay top notch! Please keep in mind, the location of this property is not your typical tourist resort, you will want a car to travel as this is residential west coast. We just loved staying here, we planned trips out East to Kualoa Ranch, up to North Shore, Pearl Harbour, Dole Planation, Waikiki, Wet n Wild and more. The drive was never more than 1 hour even at peak times. This condo location is a great spot to come back to to enjoy the later part of the day, tennis court, basketball, pools, bbq. Don't forget to check out Makaha Beach too... its amazing. I would definitely return to this property and highly recommend to other considering a trip to Oahu! Thanks Penny!

We had a great experience. Working around the potential impacts of a hurricane, Penny was fantastic to deal with. Everything in the condo was great. Plenty of room for the 4 of us, great views, and friendly staff.

All you need and beautiful relaxing views.

We really enjoyed our stay at Makaha Valley Plantation. The condo is fully equipped and comfortable. The open air loft-style bedrooms were a hit with our kids. The morning coffee looking at the blooming trees and the mountains, listening to the birds are imprinted in our minds. Although you cannot sit on the lanais, the huge sliding screened doors give that outdoor feel. We definitely have a vacation hangover! The incredible Makaha beach down the street with its waves, fish and turtles (and even a monk seal came to swim with us one day), is absolutely fabulous!

Perfect for a family of 5

Our family had a great stay at Penny & Cannon's condo. It was clean, a perfect fit for our family, & stocked with beach towels, cooler, & even a boogie board! Penny answered all of my questions prior to the stay. I would recommend this properly for anyone wanting a nice place away from the bustle of Honolulu.

We loved our get away

Thank you Penny for sharing your home with us. This is definitely the best kept secret. We loved feeling like we had our own little private oasis with the local grocery stores and practically private beaches. We traveled into Honolulu every day for family functions but we were always sad to leave our beach and happy to return. I know everyone in our group would love to stay here again. Mahalo, The Kopes

It was an ok experience for us.

We stayed at this condo in July 2016 overall it was ok. A couple things we did not like was one bathroom for six people to share is difficult. The ac window unit in one room was ok. My boys that slept on second floor said they were hot sleeping there. We paid a cleaning fee, however on the binder book for check out instructions we have to wash towels, fold and put away. Load up dishes and run machine, sweep floor and strip beds and take out trash. I felt like it was a little bit too much to do since we paid a cleaning fee. I had a very uncomfortable time taking a shower there. It was difficult adjusting the hot & cold water. You will either have too much hot water or too much cold water. The communication was excellent with the landlord. On the other hand, my children enjoyed watching outside the property chickens and peacocks and We loved the mountain view.

Perfect value.

We are from Montreal, Canada, and we stayed in this condo for a week at the end of June. We were four people and there was enough space to add two more. The apartment is on two floors and is very well organized. The most interesting is its location within a complex of buildings perfectly maintained . It is extremely safe and pleasant. The view from the living room is just wonderful with lots of tropical vegetation and the ocean in the distance. The condo is located just twenty minutes away from the lagoons of Ko'olina and about fifty minutes from Honolulu, which allows to enjoy the tranquility whilst being not too far from other nice places. Penny is very attentive and prompt in his replies although she lives on the continent and we definitely recommend her property.

Beautiful, clean, lovely place to stay.

Such a well cared for beautiful condo. It had everything we needed and Penny was great, responded super fast when I had questions. I would for sure stay again. The particular location of this condo in the complex was great as well. Within walking distance to the pool, closest parking spot, and it had a secluded feel for how large the complex is. The beach down the road was great too, not rocky at all. The mountains are absolutely breathtaking. Close to stores and food. The peacocks did get a little loud sometimes but do settle down when the sun goes down but if you had a child that was at napping age it could pose a problem. You really can't beat the price! Very happy with my stay.

Clean, well stocked condo

Our first visit to Hawaii. on arrival at the apartment we were surprised to find so much was supplied. Well stocked with linen, cutlery crockery toilet necessities, and even had a range of seasoning and spices for cooking. Clean and well maintained, and when we did experience a problem with a sink blockage, plumbers were arranged very quickly, and we had no interruption to our stay caused by this. The grounds and pool were also well maintained and the peacocks roaming around were a pleasant addition. The view from the room was wonderful although a tiny bit disappointed that the water was not flowing off the hills as shown in one of the advertising photos, but that's the price we paid for having perfect sunny weather for our entire stay. Would heartily recommend this apartment to any future travellers.

Beautifully appointed, with a view of the ocean.

Very nicely redone condo. All new appliances and a kitchen you could cook up a storm in. We enjoyed our stay, but I have to say, most of our time was spent at the beach. Beautiful place to visit in Hawaii.

Penny and makaha valley

The property and staff are all very nice. The peacock noise took a little getting use to at night. Penny is fantastic and so easy to communicate with. The only thing was the shower was a bit dirty. It may just be an older shower too. Other than that loved everything.

Delightful and Inviting

The condo was a wonderful and relaxing place for myself and my family. The security staff was amazing and extremely helpful! The grounds were beautiful and waking up to the sounds of nature (pouring rain and birds chirping) was a nice get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. My family and I currently live in Northern California, between San Francisco and Sacramento and Oahu, HI. is our home away from home. We have stayed at many different places on different sides of the Island and I must say that I enjoy being further away from the touristy areas like Waikiki. The condo was fully stocked with everything you might need to cook with as well as many extra's. My girls were excited to be able to use the beach toys and goggles, being just minutes from an amazing beach - we were stoked to have 3 Honu swim past us. We have been to Hawaii many times yet this was the first to see these magnificent creatures so close. We weren't expecting so many HOT and HUMID days but that's what we get for travelling during the storm season. Great visit, Great Condo, Super nice owners! Makaha stay

Excellent visit to. Hawaii. Malaga Resort is just beautiful and well maintained. Security is great and personnel has there customer service down to a tee! The unit is great. The only complaint, and not really a complaint would be no air conditioning. Penny was great to work with from beginning to end. Alpha Penny and thanks for making our stay a most memorable vacation.

Convenient, comfortable and affordable

My teenagers and I had a great time at the property! Pool was great, gorgeous beach was SO close. West side of the island is extremely local and not touristy at all! Condo was perfect, comfortable, stocked kitchen; also WiFi and cable was a very pleasant necessity for the teenagers. The only reason for 4 stars is because mid July in Hawaii is brutal with no a/c. With that said, I would still definitely stay here again.

Perfect first trip!

This was our first trip to Hawaii. The condo was everything that was advertised! It's a beautiful setting, wonderfully furnished, and excellently maintained. There where no glitches in securing access to the property which was especially nice after travelling 12 hours and arriving around 10:30 p.m. Hawaii time! We especially enjoyed being in the "country". Driving anywhere is quite easy. We will definitely return for another visit! I absolutely recommend this property and owner for your stay!

As always....this condo is the best

This is my 3rd family vacation to Honolulu and as always this condo is one of the best decisions I have made as far as places to stay. Coming there I always am sure I will have a clean and awesome place with a lot of room. Any issues I had/have with the room like a clogged sink (I don't recommend letting your kids rinse dishes if there is rice) and it was handled immediately without any finger pointing. The unit is always stocked with everything my family needs for the trip and I love the location. Penny allows you to enjoy your vacation and not over your shoulder 24/7 but when you need her she is always there either by phone,text or email. Anytime in the future my family and I come to Honolulu, this is our vacation home. Thank you again Penny!!!!

This condo is very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. The unit itself was modern and very clean. This is a secure development. Security personal patrols the grounds and are very friendly. Landscaping throughout the property is tropical and well maintained. We were very close to the pool/grill & laundry and less than a 5-10 min drive to The famous Makaha Surf Beach, Restaurants & Tamura Super Market. Booking process was easy and quick. Our overall experience was really wonderful. Penny was so great to deal with and her response time was amazing. I would definitely consider staying here again! I grew up vacationing in Waikiki and North Shore has been our sport for the last few years, we never made it to the this side and are so happy that we did and my husband is thrilled he got to finally surf Makaha!

My husband and I rented this exact condo as a vacation rental ourselves when we arrived to Hawaii. We loved the area so much we contacted the owner and purchased it! We had a wonderful contractor remodel. We lived here with our two young children for many years. We are now enjoying some travel and love being able to share our home with new and returning visitors to Hawaii.
