Charming Cabin in the Woods. POOL!
Consider this adorable cabin your home away from home while you visit the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires.
Your own grassy path down the hill from the main house, (you can't even be seen), a woodsy deck out back with sunsets through the trees, a composting toilet, an outdoor shower, a loft bed, a simple but fully equipped kitchen; you also have use of the pool and hot tub (shared with the owner) up the hill. You can't believe how cozy and comfortable this place is.
You will have everything you need for a peaceful, cozy, no frills respite from the busy life.

Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights
Wash the dishes and put them away.
Tie up garbage in one bag. Rinse and crush recyclables and put them in the basket under the sink.
Strip beds of sheets (NOT blankets) and bundle with all used towels and put them in the middle of the rug.

We built this cottage for my mother 17 years ago. She wanted to be with and her granddaughter 4 months out of the year.
Sadly, she passed before she got a chance to use it, but it is such a special spot, and is so beautifully designed, that we decided the best thing to do would be to make sure it is used and appreciated.
We renovated it, updated it a bit (not too much!), and that's where you come in.
We were on a another platform, had 4.8 stars on about 39 reviews, and switched to VRBO for various reasons.
Check it out!

Why they chose this property
This is one of the most beautiful areas in all of NY state. It's got villages, small towns, culture galore!!! great people, and nature and hiking, and great restaurants.

What makes this property unique
The cottage is down the hill from the main house. From the front lawn, by the bonfire pit, you can see the Catskills and its unparalleled sunsets.
We have a lap pool and a hot tub ( NO MORE THAN 20 MINUTES), and adjacent woods with trails and gorge and river... AMAZING.
