Awesome weekend getaway

The property was beautiful and felt remote without being so. The check in process was easy and the host was very communicative. The house was comfortable and had everything you could need. Wonderful stay!

Marvelous host and delicious honey harvested from the property. Very clean and comfortable. It was me and a girlfriend and the layout was perfect. Enjoyed coffee in the living room and enjoyed wine on the patio. Convenient location to everything Wimberley.

Wonderful getaway!

This place is truly wonderful. The house is clean and well stocked. I was able to cook Thanksgiving dinner using their dishes and appliances. The owners are very helpful and I hope to stay here again.

Loved our stay at the blue armadillo!

We had such a great time away at this property. Close to local wineries. You’re nestled in the countryside but easy access to the main roads and into town. Highly recommend! Great price and value!

Exactly what we needed: rest and relaxation at The Blue Armadillo.

We were looking for a weekend getaway that wasn’t too far of a drive from Austin, but still felt like a vacation; The Blue Armadillo was the perfect escape. The villa itself was perfectly suited to our needs and we loved grilling in the evenings and watching the sunset. Sharon was great and shared some useful restaurant & water tips. We’re already checking our calendars to see when we can get back to The Blue Armadillo!

Private getaway

We visit the Wimberley every now and then. This place was perfect since it was just outside of town and it provided us with privacy and scenery. It wasn't much of an issue for us but the one negative was hearing some highway noise nearby. Other than that we truly enjoyed our stay here.

Overall good

Everything was wonderful, but the living room furniture was uncomfortable and the kitchen supplies were limited (no colander, only one dishwasher pod, etc. ).

Blue Armadillo Retreat!

The Blue Armadiilo was a very relaxing, very awesome decorated two bedroom resort with lovely amenities! I spoke with the owner and she was very helpful to suggest places to visit. I would highly recommend this place to relax and to be close to Wimberly.

Delightful & cozy.

Wonderful house & property. This was my first Christmas without my dad and I wanted to make it special for my mom. It was! The Blue Armadillo is a delightful house. Very well appointed. We stayed during Christmas & they even had it decorated for Christmas. The layout is great with each bedroom on either side of the living room. The bathroom is very large. As well as the living & kitchen areas. Loved it and will definitely be back.

Cute and clean!

This was such a great place to lay our heads! Perfect amount of space for our small group, located close to multiple hot spots around town, and immaculately clean. Everything was very easy and private. Overall, we had a great stay and will be keeping them in mind for our next vacation.

Well appointed and extra clean

We had a very comfortable Easter weekend stay. So close to Wimberley but private. A real Hill Country experience! Bluebonnets and wildflowers were in full bloom everywhere we drove. We were visiting our son and daughter in love from Dripping Springs and this was just perfect. We certainly enjoyed the outside space. Will return!

We had a great weekend at Blue Armadillo

Cute and charming cabin, comfortable and with plenty of room for my friends and I. Wished it had an outdoor fire pit, but we made good use of the grill. We were very impressed that it was fully stocked with plenty of cups, dishes, cooking pans, etc, everything we needed. The close proximity to Wimberley was great!!
