CASA DE ALQUILER DE VACACIONES CASUAL EN LA ISLA DE SAN JUAN CERCA DEL PUERTO ROCHE

Se trata de la ubicación en esta espaciosa casa de alquiler de vacaciones de dos niveles con vistas a Roche Harbor Resort y Marina. Simplemente salga de la cubierta del nivel inferior hacia un sendero peatonal junto a la costa que conduce al histórico Resort para disfrutar de comidas elegantes e informales, así como la comodidad de una tienda de comestibles, oficina de correos, alquiler de ciclomotores, puerto deportivo, spa, piscina para niños, y pista de aterrizaje.

El nivel principal de la casa contiene una cocina abierta, comedor, sala de estar con chimenea a leña, dos dormitorios con camas tamaño queen y un baño compartido con ducha / bañera. En el nivel inferior encontrará una sala de juegos con mesa de billar, estufa de leña, piano, sofá cama doble extraíble y un tercer dormitorio con dos camas individuales. También hay una puerta corrediza de vidrio que conduce a una cubierta exterior cubierta para ver los barcos y las islas más allá. Además, hay un baño conveniente en el nivel inferior que ofrece una ducha.

Conveniently located view property

This older home has a great location and beautiful view of the bay. It was easy to walk to Roche Harbor Marina for all the Fourth of July festivities. The home fit our family of five perfectly.

Well lived in nice view!

We had a nice time here ! A few things didn’t work but All in all comfy beds (not the pull out) great place to play games at the table ,and the pool table was a hit !!

Beautiful spot great for a family getaway

Beautiful location an easy walk into roche harbor and the sculpture garden with a great view. Plenty of room and comfortable. Hosts were very accommodating and communicated promptly. An older property with older fixtures and appliances, but everything in working order. Thank you!!

Fantastic Home for a Fantastic Week

The location is perfect. We loved watching the boats and wildlife and we loved our daily walks to the harbor. Walking distance to several ‘must see’ spots on the island. The house is older, not updated, and the listing is very-front about that. It was clean and had the essentials we needed for a wonderful week together as a family.

It was really nice that it was on the trail to the tennis courts, swimming, field, and an easy & safe walk to the docks.The piano and pool table are a nice touch for extra entertainment.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location near the marina in Roche Harbor was fabulous. The view was spectacular. My only complaint is about the downstairs. The TV was downstairs as was the second bathroom and the two nice bedrooms were upstairs with a bath in between. We were looking for a home with 2 BR and 2 BA which this was but it meant one of us had to use the bathroom downstairs. Downstairs did not smell like mothballs but it smelled like something slightly unpleasant. The carpet is '70s. It would have been nice to have a longer couch upstairs in the main part of the house along with a TV. It would also be nice to have a table outside, maybe even a bistro set with chairs and a small table or two. We wanted to eat every meal on the deck but all they had were gravity chairs which aren't that easy to eat out of. The view and location was worth everything but some small changes would make it slightly more comfortable and practical.

The location couldn’t be any better. The host was very responsive too. Cooling down the upper level was a bit difficult. We really enjoyed our stay though.

Great Location & Great Views

Lovely property manager who was very responsive and friendly. The house is huge specially with the entire downstairs. Great location with easy walk to Roche Harbor. Great Views of the harbor but no water access. Only thing to improve on was leaving windows open as there was an overwhelming musty smell when we first walked in. Would definitely stay there again.

House in bad shape

We walked in and we’re hit by a stench that never left. The deck screen door was wide open. But the view was so so beautiful ! So we wanted to have a seat and enjoy it. All the deck chairs are in terrible shape- you can’t sit there. The furniture is so worn that you literally fall in. Otherwise, the beds were comfy and the upstairs bath was clean and roomy. We think a good shag carpet cleaning is needed and the deck chairs replaced. That would show the guests you care

Like Being at Grandma's House

I'll admit I was hesitant to stay here after reading previous reviews but with a budget and limited options, this is what we landed on. So happy we did because it was great for our needs. 4 adults stayed here and it had everything we needed. Yes, it is old and well loved but that's what gives it charm in our opinion. It was like stepping back in time and staying at your grandparent's house, except here you get stunning views of the harbor, and get to watch deer and all sorts of wildlife. The beds were all very comfortable and having the pool table was fun. You can walk to Roche Harbor, bike ride right from the house, walk to the mausoleum, and more. Great location and would come back again!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was terrific, just like the pictures. The beds upstairs were comfortable and provided a great nights sleep. The grill worked well and the piano and pool table were an added bonus, although it smells very musty in the basement so we did not spend a lot of time there. The living room couches were uncomfortable. Of greater concern was the electric in the house, as there were no operable lights outside or upon entry through the back door into the laundry area. This was a definite concern when coming from your car in the dark. The kitchen overhead light was not functional even though we followed the very specific directions for use. The fuse box was locked and there was a lot of extension cord usage throughout the house and not enough outlets. The kitchen faucet did not function properly and was difficult to turn off.

Great Area

Best aspect of this stay was the area. If you don't want to be right in the action but close enough to walk, this is it. Great view and very relaxing. Had some issues with communicating with the property manager during our stay but those issues have been resolved. Overall would highly recommend staying here.

Good Multi Families Home

The view from the house is amazing and closeness to Roche, Playground and Pool is perfect for families. Split level means the children have an area to play separate from adults. House is older, so don't expect perfection. Kitchen is well stocked, but downstairs is very musty and carpets need replacing throughout dirty and very worn, wood would be better. The on line listing was a little incorrect, obviously photos were taken many years ago when things looked fresh and newer. The overgrown back was resolved after complaining. The Property managers are very helpful and easy to work with. If house gets some upgrades we will return.

House plan again is good for families with a downstairs children's area with twin beds, TV, piano and pool table.The house is older, so don't expect perfection. The carpets are very worn and should be replaced throughout the house, wood would be better. Downstairs is very musty and needs window screens on all windows to allow air flow. The photos on the website were obviously taken a good few years ago, house is now dated. The overgrown back was resolved by the property management. They're very helpful and easy to work with. If the house is updated we will return.

The home is in need of updating as the carpets are dirty and threadbare in places. The handrail is a safety hazard and needs repaired. It sleeps 6 people comfortably with 3 bedrooms. Check-in was a breeze!
