We stayed here earlier this year and the house is so incredible we had to come back! As always, their home was in immaculate condition, well-equipped, and in the perfectly located quiet setting on the west end of OKI. HIGHLY recommended by all in our family!

We had the best time and it was made even better with the amazing accommodations. It was so great to have all of the amenities covered especially the beach gear! Our pup also had the best time and it was so nice to bring him along and he appreciated the dog treats the owners had stocked for him.

The property was as pictured, clean and well furnished. THe neighborhood was quiet and lovely The hist was very respectful and gracious. We will definitely be rebooking.

The Nirvana Nook Vacation Home was as close to perfect as a place to stay as anywhere we have ever been. The owner stayed in communication with us before, during and after, the home was clean and better stocked than any place we had ever stayed. The most important thing to us was a little thing most overlook, he had the good thick soft toilet tissue. We carry our own to every property we stay at, this time we didn’t need to. Back yard is perfect with a shade tree to the back dock and plenty of out door seating on the covered porch. We will be back, Thank you for a great family weekend!!

If you’re looking for tranquility, peace, and relaxation this is the house for you. Very well equipped. The hosts are amazing and the location is perfect. Nestled in a small island on the west end of Oak Island. You’re still close enough to all the attractions and restaurants but just far away to have your own little corner of the island. Thank you for a great house and a wonderful week.

Loved this house! Everything we could have possibly needed was provided. The kitchen is one of the best stocked we have ever had. It says in the description that the dock at the canal was a little wonky but it had been completely repaired and my husband enjoyed fishing and crabbing there and I enjoyed sitting out there with him. Pet friendly so we were able to take our dogs which is one thing we always look for. It is nice and quiet and the neighbor next door was very nice. If you’re looking for a place to relax definitely recommend. Close to Southport so lots of shops to go shopping. Fishing charters are close so while he did that I enjoyed a day for myself as well. Loved the mini elevator it was so easy and less back breaking to put everything on it and unload upstairs

This was our first time in OKI and it definitely will not be our last! The place was amazing with everything you could ever need on a vacation. From all cooking supplies & toiletries, to 4 beach chairs and a great canopy! We were also greeted with a bottle of wine and two glasses to start our vacation, right when we walked in. We spent some of our evenings fishing & grilling out back. The beds & furniture were comfy after a long day! Giri, the host, was exceptional with fast responses whenever we needed her. And to be honest, the only time we needed to contact her was to pay for an additional day because we weren’t ready to leave! This place is exactly where you want to stay and Oak Island is exactly where you want to spend you vacation!! We cannot wait to come back!

Such a fun time. Wish it didn’t rain. We were there as a new lower dock was being installed so we didn’t get the whole experience with kayaks. The home was so well equipped and CLEAN! Communication was amazing. Will go back!
