Just minutes from town but the feel is so country! Country guesthouse with catherdral ceilings, tall windows to capture the views of the mountain and sliders to wander out to the deck. Sit in the comfy garden chairs and BBQ on the deck which overlooks the garden. You will get a perfect Mt Shasta View!!! Perfect for Stargazing!

Beautiful hardwood floors with open floor plan - eating bar with tall bar stools, the kitchen is well equipped and full of light. Large living room with sliders that let you take in the cool evening breezes or just to appreciate the views. Flat screen TV in living room and bedroom. Woodstove for those snowy evenings.

Spacious bedrooms - one with flat screen (queen bed). Other bedroom has two twins. Plump futon in living room with sleep two more.

Take a stroll and enjoy the gardens with beautiful flowers and seasonal veggies. You are free to help yourself to the naturally grown veggies!!! Nice sunflowers.

Wander down to Cold Creek and bring a book - grassy nook with benches are just waiting for you to sit a spell and unwind. Leveled water pools offer waterfall sounds -

This is a beautiful property with very well maintained yard and gardens. You will meet the owner Ron at some point - he is careful to give you space but comes in handy if you need something. We have a NO YOUNG children policy due to the creek .

Adorable Guest House, Beautiful View

This was the perfect place to stay for a wedding across the road. Loved exploring the local waterfalls, and downtown. Also enjoyed eating at the Mt. Shasta Resort. And of course, the adorable pets on the “farm”, and chatting with Ron.

Perfect spot for 4

The layout was great for a family of 4. It was clean and the hosts were very friendly. It was raining for most of our stay some we did not get to enjoy the view but the house was warm and cozy when returned from our wet adventures.

Breathtaking Views of Mt Shasta & Amazing Creek on Property

Our family absolutely loved staying on this property. The view of the mountain from the deck and living room are splendid. The house in on a farm. The outdoor spaces, including the open space behind the house which has a creek, a fountain and a pond, a bridge across the creek, seating, and a well maintained garden are all very very beautiful and fully accessible. We got farm fresh eggs during our stay. The hosts are very easy to reach if need be.

Great property, great view, great experience!

As you can guess, everything was...great! House is clean and well accommodated - very comfortable. The view is amazing and visible from most of the living area inside and even moreso from the deck right outside of the front of the house. There are also cows in the foreground which were fun to watch (and moo at :). The host, Ron, literally could not have been more accommodating - from proactive directions on how to get there, suggestions for nearby activities/restaurants and help around the property - just perfectly helpful and courteous.

Wonderful location and a sweet little farm

My friend and I loved our long weekend here. The views of Mt. Shasta are incredible - the photos do not do it justice at all. The beds are very comfy, the woodfired stove is easy and very warm. The kitchen has all the essentials, including tupperware! Very thoughtful. The shower's water pressure is pleasantly high. The whole pace has a spacious and calm feel. I would recommend to friends. :)

Wonderful Location

This was a fantastic (although) short weekend stay for us. The location was lovely, the property was perfect for us and it was just the getaway we needed. We arrived on a Friday, got settled in, and spent the afternoon down by the creek or up on the deck reading with Mt Shasta looming in the distance. It is close to town, easily accessible to the freeway and just a great staging area for a weekend of hiking. If you enjoy outdoor activities, the trail to Mt Eddy is only about 40 minutes away and completely worth doing. Thanks to Ron for making us feel welcome and providing us such a great place to spend our weekend.

Amazing Space!

My partner and I absolutely LOVED this space! Staying on the farm at the base of Mt. Shasta was heavenly. We do not have one complaint and cannot wait to return. Everything about our stay was perfect. Ron and Arlene are delightful and their dog, Peanut is the best! You will not be disappointed.

Fun on the farm!

Our family had an amazing experience during our stay at Cold Creek Farm. Ron and Arlene are the perfect host and we have already started recommending their property to our friends in the East Bay. Mount Shasta as a whole is a gorgeous area and the location of the farm couldn’t be any better. We explored several falls, hikes and lakes all within a 15-20 minute drive. We were able to hike Faery, Mossbrae, 3 Tiers of McCloud and Hedge Creek Falls during our stay. We rented a boat to explore Lake Siskiyou and also hiked to Castle and Heart Lake. If you would like to explore caves, I would recommend driving to the outskirts of Weed to Pluto’s Cave. It was about a 30 minute drive from Cold Creek Farm. The farm itself was super fun for our 2 year old son. He loved seeing the cows, chickens, goats, dogs and cat everyday as well as playing with all the great toys provided. Ron grows the best tomatoes and veggies on the farm and we loved having fresh eggs in the mornings from Arlene. Hands down, our favorite place we have explored in CA. Thanks again Ron and Arlene!

Loved the farm setting, the creek, and the gorgeous view!

My husband and I and our two children thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was private and comfortable and we felt very much at home. Our kids particularly enjoyed the cute twin bedroom with its toys and books, and our animal-loving daughter loved the goats and chickens. The view of Mt. Shasta from the front deck was amazing! The beds and linens were comfortable, and we enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of the creek. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to cook several meals. The only constructive feedback I would offer for the lovely hosts is that the spices and utensils in the kitchen are a little dusty and could probably use a deep cleaning. But this was a very minor detail in an otherwise lovely stay!
