This ideal vacation home was only completed in 2010 includes 2 bedrooms, including 2 new queen-size beds, and sleep four adults comfortably. The living room has cable TV/DVD and includes a washer and dryer, and a full stainless steel kitchen (refrigerator, stove top, oven, sink, microwave, and not to mention and outdoor grill). The outdoor private patio is perfect for barbecuing or simply relaxing.
Only forty minutes from the airport, the U.S.S Arizona, illustrious Waikiki, and miles away from Banzai Pipeline, Waimea Bay, and Polynesian Cultural Center, make this vacation one to remember, and hopefully... repeat.
Aloha, My husband and I are born here in Hawaii. We moved to Haleiwa in 2007. We currently live in the upstairs unit with our two sons. As a family we enjoy all the outdoor activities the North Shore has to offer.

Our house is located in a highly desired area, and just steps away from beautiful beaches and Historic Haleiwa Town. The main reason why we moved here is because my husbands favorite surf spot in the whole world is right out front!

Beautiful house, right across the street from Ali' i beach park. Everything you could need was provided. All we needed was our personal items, and food. Joel and Ashley were very gracious hosts. Definitely will rent again next year!
Literally a 3 minutes walk to the beach (if that) and ten minutes walk into Hale'iwa town with all the lovely shops. In the car, a minute. Close to Turtle Beach (yes, there were turtles) and the lovely botanical gardens but you do need a car for that and the traffic can be heavy. Well laid out apartment with everything you could want in the way of mugs, knives, pans etc. Showing a little wear as the end of the busy season approaches but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a slight problem with the plumbing but the owners were amazingly responsive and came to sort it out immediately. They are very nice too although they get up rather early!! The dogs were delightful, sitting and watching us from the enclosed stairs with soulful eyes. Pretty birds in the garden and an inquisitive ginger kitten who tried to get into the car trunk when we were setting off for the beach. I loved the peace and quiet.
If you want the north shore experience without the traffic this rental is in a great location. Short walk to Haleiwa where there is lots of shopping and dinning. Great beach and park at Haleiwa Alii Park. Despite the high waves on the north shore that week it was perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
The apartment is very nice with full kitchen, large bath and bedrooms, nice yard with grill and dining area, and covered parking.
Joel and Ashley were very welcoming, and the rental has everything you need to relax, lounge, make dinner, and even gear to borrow for the beach. Fabulous location in Haleiwa near the beach, and so many great spots along the coast to access by car. The rental is well equipped and very clean. Very convenient and comfortable! I recommend.
Our stay at Joel & Ashley's was great, though we only met Joel on our stay. They kept to themselves, the same way we did but when we met Joel he was very friendly & obliging in allowing our daughter to play with his kids and their toys. Ashley was most helpful late at night when we couldn't work out the bath/shower though, thanks 😄 It was very humid when we stayed and the unit only seemed to have fans to cool it down, air conditioning would have been nice but there were nice ocean breezes at night. The house is close to the beach but with young children a car is essential as footpaths are lacking and it's at least a 10 min walk to town. Nice spot to check out Haleiwa and surrounds but 2/3 nights is all you need. House very well stocked and very clean. Would recommend to others as a short term stay & Joel, sorry, we didn't realise you were a pro surfer!
We loved our stay in Ashley and Joel's Haleiwa rental! The home is within walking distance to a beautiful park and beach, and very close to the shops in Haleiwa town. The rental had everything we needed including beach chairs, a cooler, beach towels, and more. The two bedrooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. We loved our stay!
