A spacious great room invites conversation, memories and laughter. Take a seat on one of the comfortable sofas or the leather chair as you hang out together telling stories and making plans. The big flat screen TV might tempt you to watch the latest blockbuster or maybe your favorite TV show.

The gorgeous fully equipped kitchen features white cabinetry, black and white granite countertops, white subway tile backsplash and stainless appliances. The family chef will love creating everything from finger food snacks to full-course meals for the entire group in this sophisticated space, complete with a breakfast bar and seating for 3.

The adjacent dining room is the spot to enjoy all the culinary creations. Here, you'll find a wood table and seating for 6 in a light-filled space with soothing coastal decor. Additionally, Now Playing has been graced with multiple bedding options. The third level sports a queen bedroom with a private bathroom as well as a common full bathroom. The second level features two king bedrooms and a queen bedroom, along with an additional two bathrooms. All four bedrooms feature their own flat screen TV, making each a perfect respite. Enjoy a second living space on the second level, with two side chairs and a flat screen TV. Here's the perfect spot to curl up with that book you've been meaning to read or maybe your iPad.

**Private heated pools will open on April 1st and close on November 1st. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6pm on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter the backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days.

Want added comfort? Consider adding the Heated Pool option! A Heated Pool option can be added upon request for $50 per night of your reservation. This fee is added to your reservation at the time of the request, which must be a minimum of 72 hours before arrival. Pool heat must be added for the entirety of your stay.

This pool is heated by a heat pump. An ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.**

Roaches, dirty linen, clogged drains, moldy ceilings--Beware of Kees Properties!

Please do not let the pictures fool you. This property is absolutely disgusting. We experienced many roaches, including one that crawled on me in the middle of the night. We found dirty linen left on one of the guest beds, a pack of cigarettes left on the counter, stains on the carpet, thick dust on the ceiling fans, a huge mold growth in the bathroom ceiling, and after the shower backed up my husband cleaned the drain and pulled out a clog of hair so big it can only be described as cousin It. Don't use the rusted pots and pans unless you want a tetanus shot afterwards. The Kees Property Management company is running a full scam on this one and will not make it right even after we asked for a refund. They offered pennies and asked that we sign a confidentiality agreement and not share our experience with others. Please save your money and even if you are desperate for a vacation FIND ANOTHER PROPERTY! VRBO shouldn't even allow them to post their properties given the horrible ratings they have from the BBB. I only wish we knew before we booked here. Stay away from Kees Properties!!

Wonderful experience

Property was everything we needed. Very clean and spacious for our group. About a 3 minute walk to the beach and many great restaurants near by as well as a food lion only 2 blocks away. Would definitely recommend this property and if we decide to come back to OBX at some point would certainly look to see if this property is available.

Great family vacation spot!

"Now Playing" is a great vacation house. However, if you plan on staying in and cooking, the kitchen was not well stocked with kitchen accessories. It was a little hike to the beach. We loved having a hot tub and private pool.. Overall, it was a great family vacation!
