Great location! Great views! The kitchen was well equipped for cooking ! Lots of room with the extra pool house and pool and hot tub were great for cooling off and relaxingWe would stay there again. Manteo is a great area.

This property is set up so well for our family. With a master bedroom downstairs with a walk in shower to the two queen bedrooms with a shared bathroom with jetted tub upstairs for my older boys this was perfect to spread out. My mother in law couldn't come which would've been perfect for the pool house with a living area and separate lifted bedroom but one of my boys took it and we spread out more lol! The pool house overlooks the pool and wraps around to a big sitting area to enjoy an awesome sunset. The pool deck itself was attached to the pool house from a small staircase, an entry from the driveway and most importantly from the sliding door from the large living area of the house. Walking out to a covered deck then to the pool fifteen feet away was ridiculously easy to enjoy this home, it's space and not be too motivated to go out! Loved it all the way around!

So the star system on the VRBO review site wouldn't work. I have no idea what I was marking the 6 sets of stars for. Now to the property! PROS: The home was as described. It was beautiful, well laid out, and clean. It's in a quiet neighborhood. The home was pet friendly. I absolutely loved the fenced yard so my dog could come with us. The pool house was perfect for my grown son and his wife so they could have their own space. Beds were comfortable. The water was hot. Lots of space for everyone. This was the first time we rented a property with a pool, we loved it! It's clear that the place is very well maintained. I would definitely go back. It's 10 to 15 minutes from the beach access, the roanoke aquarium, jockeys ridge and lots of restaraunts. The one huge negative was the horrible, high pitched alarms on the doors facing the pool. Drove my dog nuts! Painful to me as well.CONS: This has nothing to do with the property. It's listed on several sites. That meant when an issue came up; I was dealing with more than one management system. The beds weren't made. There was one towel and wash cloth per person for the entire week. Later, after we left, I found information on a seaside website that offered extra linens and bed service for a fee. With good communication, all my issues could have been avoided. The PRIMARY management system should be posted on ALL listing across all formats. I rented from VRBO who sold my loan to Seaside?
