A Little Piece of Paradise

  • 5 of 5

Megan's home was a little piece of paradise! Our family had a wonderful time cooking great food, taking long hikes and playing in the snow in Yosemite! Our grand kids loved the down stairs play area, and we all enjoyed watching the deer in the evening. We look forward to staying at Pine Mountain again!

Perfect Get Away

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were fortunate to stay at this lovely home after a week of traipsing around San Francisco. The drive from the city was beautiful. We stopped along the way to pick up fresh almonds and walnuts at one of the many roadside stands.

The house itself is spacious and the decor makes it cozy. There were only two of us so we spread out in the master bedroom. The bed was comfortable and we could have fresh air at night which we appreciated. We loved the huge ensuite. The kitchen was well also large and well stocked. We didn't cook many meals due to the length of the day trips we took. Megan gave us suggestions as to where to eat locally so we took full advantage of the pizza place just up the road. Being there in April allowed us to make full use of the wood stove in the evenings after a full day of hiking in Hetch Hetchy and Yosemite. We really appreciated having the use of a washer/dryer cause we were soaked coming back from our hikes due to the run-off. It was fascinating watching the small deer that strolled by the window in the mornings.

This house would be great for a large family or group looking to do some exploring in Yosemite. There is space for everyone. A large group would love the game room! This is also a great area to walk, run and bike.

If we ever plan another trip to hike in Yosemite we would certainly look to stay in Megan’s home again. She was wonderful to deal with and made some great recommendations of places to see and eat.

Thanks again Megan & family

Beautiful cabin in a cozy, quiet community!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this cabin! Our church's girls youth group had an opportunity to come stay here for a night after a day of skiing, and even though the distance from Dodge Ridge Ski Resort was long, it was totally worth it! The price per night was very reasonable for what you get here, plus we were able to rent it for just 1 night, instead of being constrained by a 2 day minimum, which is what most other cabins have around the area. Megan, the owner, is very friendly and extremely easy to work with.

The beds are really comfy, unlike hotel beds.

The kitchen was stocked with every kind of dish, pan, and gadget we needed to cook meals.

The game room was very well-liked and used by our girls group.

There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep.

LOVED that there were 3 full bathrooms! With a lot of girls, that's a MUST!

I liked it so much that I'm considering the possibility of going back for a vacation in the summertime so we can use the lake!

I highly recommend renting this property, especially for large groups.

Terrific place for creating memories ...

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful time, we even got to see and enjoy playing in the snow. Everything was well maintained and abundant. All the youth in our group were overjoyed at the variety of entertainment options we had. As for the adults in our group, we were thrilled with the cleanliness of the house and the accessibility to all necessary items. Lastly, Megan is SUPER attentive and responsive to her guests. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to our family and allowing us to create beautiful memories to last us a lifetime!!

Perfect Reunion

  • 5 of 5

First of all I would like to say Megan is a great owner; extremely responsive and accommodating. We, as a family, had not been able to get together for probably a decade due to deployments etc. and this was the place to do it. The house is well kept and inviting. There is plenty of room to accommodate all and a well equipped kitchen that makes it unnecessary to have to bring anything except food. I was worried about parking, however, 4 vehicles fit in the drive easily. I also liked the majority of the bedrooms being upstairs. It was nice being able to put my relatives that have difficulties with stairs on the ground floor. I highly recommend this house for any occasion. Thanks again Megan.
