The property was great, clean and with plenty of beds to sleep 3 families. The communication was excellent. The only con, it was hot (97F) when we were there and some of the bedrooms didn’t get enough flow of air so it was difficult to sleep. Otherwise, great location, great hosts and clean house! We had a great time!

This place was fantastic! The six of us used it as a 44 year class reunion of sorts. Super comfortable. Close to town, and close to Yosemite (our destination). Early on we had an issue in the surrounding community. We needed some help. I can’t tell you how prompt the owner and local contact were to help us and resolve it. Their response was immediate and availability was second to none. Thank you! You will not be disappointed here! Enjoy!

The host was very welcoming, and was quick to reply with questions and concerns that we had. The place had all the amenities we needed. Only sad thing was the air hockey table didn't work. Our kids were quite disappointed, but they found other things to entertain themselves.

I have been staying in different vacation houses in different states but this one is so disappointing! The house is extremely under our expectation. The amenities provided are essential but lots of them are worn out and dirty. 1. We planned to do BBQ the evening we arrived, but we have to spend 30 minutes to clean the BBQ grill and the outdoor furnitures. After we reported to the host, they responded as “we absolutely expect the grill to be left in reasonable condition and ready for guest use.” So, be ready to grill your food on left-over meat and residues if you agree with their readiness. 2. The drainage of one of the bath tab was blocked on the night we arrived. Then I pulled up a big bunch of hair from the drainage. 3. The baking trays in the oven are full of grease which you don’t want to use them before you cleaned them. 4. The door of the rooms are either can’t be locked or even can’t be closed. 5. The did not check if the TV remote control was working. They didn't provide extra batteries as back up.6. They just provide 2 rolls of paper towels for 10 people staying for 3 nights. 7. They do not have a first aid kit nor even a bandage. When I asked about it, they said there should be one in either kitchen drawers or one of the room. However, there was not. It seems like the host of Whispering Pines Lodge does not have the passion to provide a comfortable and welcoming accommodation for guests. They do not take the initiative to make things work nicer.

This space was incredible with comfortable beds for all 13 of us. The location is in a gated community that gives you access to a beautiful lake. It is ideal for travelers wishing to access all the big stops in Yosemite without the traffic and congestion of too many people. The town has a variety of coffee shops, grocery, and restaurants that are all affordable. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly. The couple of issues noted at the home were addressed right away by the owner and maintenance team. Definitely recommend this location to those wanting to enjoy a family fun vacation to Yosemite!
