About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, 1 Half Baths, Sleeps 9

Just one block from the ocean and the bustling Promenade, this newly refreshed Seaside vacation home is perfect for a family reunion or gathering. Lounge on the expansive deck in the summer months, and spend chilly winter evenings around the gas fireplace for a cozy night of storm-watching and board games!

This laid-back vacation getaway is tucked away on the south end of Seaside, nestled between the lush greens of the Seaside Golf Course and the restaurants, shops, and arcades in the heart of town. You can walk everywhere, but still enjoy your peace and quiet when you need it. Please note that due to its residential neighborhood, it is not suited for a gathering of friends who can be loud at times.

The home has its open living spaces on the upper floor, with plenty of space for the whole family to gather and socialize. If you like to cook, you're in luck: the full kitchen is outfitted with all the appliances, dishes, pots and pans, and utensils you need to prepare meals for a big group, with a dishwasher so you can spend your time having fun instead of scrubbing at the sink! Just off the kitchen is a dining table with six chairs (and 3 folding spares, as needed) so everyone can gather for a hearty home-cooked breakfast before heading out to explore the Oregon Coast.

The living area has comfortable sofas arranged before the gas fireplace, offering a cozy spot to curl up with a good book and a hot toddy for a peaceful evening. Grab a board game from our nicely stocked shelf, indulge in a game of Ping-Pong, or if the weather cooperates, head out to the expansive deck to take in the sunset!

With three bedrooms and two and a half baths, this 1,900-square-foot home can accommodate up to nine guests very comfortably. Upstairs, the master suite with attached full bath has a queen bed. The living room's sofa unfolds into a comfortable sleeper as well, and the half bath is on the upper floor for everyone's convenience!

Downstairs, two spacious bedrooms, one has a full bed and a trundle bed with two twin mattresses, so an entire family can share it comfortably if you're traveling with a large group or small children. The other bedroom has a queen bed and they both share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom accessible from each bedroom. The laundry room with washer/dryer makes life easy on longer stays, and the garage provides covered parking for two vehicles, with room for two more in the driveway.

The home is perfect for multi-family vacations. We do offer cable TV with DVD player as well as wireless Internet access. There's also a wall-mounted TV with Netflix streaming and a PlayStation 4 in one of the downstairs bedrooms.

Golfing, kite-flying, clamming, crabbing, beach combing, surfing, hiking, sea kayaking, arcade games, an aquarium, shopping, and plentiful dining are all within easy reach when you stay at Seaside Serenity! Whether you are planning a relaxing weekend or adventure-packed getaway, you'll love calling this laid-back retreat your home away from home on the Coast.

About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Great home in beautiful Seaside

  • 5 of 5

We had a great vacation to the Oregon coast. The house was exactly as it appeared online, clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location. We had a blast exploring Astoria, Ft. Stevens, Ecola and Oswald West State parks. Great local eateries and fun activities for our whole family.

Needs a little updating

  • 3 of 5

Overall this was a good place to stay for a weekend. Close to town, walking distance to the beach and breakfast diner. It would benefit from some basic updating. All four beds were slept in, and no one had a pleasurable experience. Uncomfortable beds and new, fuller pillows are needed. The TV/entertainment options (game selections) weren't the best, but we didn't stay at the beach to watch TV. You are near the beach, but surrounded by other homes. Its not the wake up and listen to the waves crashing scenario. We were woken up by neighbors early Saturday and Sunday mornings. And looking out the back glass door, looks directly into someone else's living room. Overall, not terrible, but not the beach getaway we were looking for.

Owner's Response: We are sorry to see this stay was not everything this guest anticipated. The home has improvements in progress. The TV and PS4 were added just last year and are in perfect condition. Thanks!

Lots of space, great location!

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here in January, so of course we couldn't guarantee great beach-time weather (although it was nice enough to spend a good chunk of puttdays outside!). Although at first it seemed awkward to have the ping pong table in the living room, it really came in handy during the rainy times!

Everything was very clean, beds were pretty comfortable, kitchen had the basics, and we weren't really lacking anything.

The master bathroom toilet had a tendency to get plugged or require a second flush with almost every use (but that must be known because there was a plunger handy, right by the toilet). Thankfully there are 2 other bathrooms to use so it didn't cause much trouble.

Nice place

  • 4 of 5

Beds were comfortable and everything was fairly clean. House was pleasantly nice. Kitchen could have used better cookware and silverware. Also more cooking spices would have been good. The House was pretty close the the beach and that was nice but could have used more games and ideas of things to do during our stay.

2020 Beach Drive

  • 5 of 5

The location was great. Three minute walk to the sandy beach, only one block to some quaint breakfast, lunch and sports pubs/restaurants.

The staff did a great job of meeting all our expectations. When we arrived everything we needed was there. They'd thought of everything, even some items we didn't even know we needed! We also appreciated their call during our stay to make sure we were completely satisfied.

We stayed for four weeks and enjoyed every minute of it!

Fantastic place to be

  • 5 of 5

The house is just fantastic with a big porch.

It's quiet and gives comfort for a family of 5 which we are.

The table tennis in the living room is fun for all.
