Great location and like staying at a 4 star hotel

We loved the property, location and little touches that made our stay special. Exactly as advertised, wish we could have stayed longer.

Great location and superb accommodations

  • 5 of 5

We spent five wonderful nights at the Broadway Bungalow. Despite facing the busy Broadway St., it was very quiet indoor. The tranquil and shady backyard was a nice oasis away from both the air conditioned indoor and the scorching heat outdoor. The interior rooms are all spacious and tastefully decorated, and the air-conditioning provided comfortable temperature, although I should have asked for more detailed explanations of the settings and adjustments on the thermostat. The state-of-the-art washer and dryer were excellent but perhaps a little too large for economical use for short-time guests like us with small washing needs. The top load washer was so deep that I had difficulty in taking out the small items after washing. I particularly loved the spacious and well equipped kitchen with a great gas stove and useful utensils. This was the first VRBO rental I stayed in that provided sharp knives! There were many staples, perhaps left by previous guests and the owner, and I added some when I left. The only quibble I have is the sizes and weights of the china and glass wares: they were too large and heavy for easy handling. This might explain why some plates and bowls showed some chips.

We loved the small but sophisticated town of Sonoma with great restaurants and a particularly excellent Sonoma Market. We would like to return to this charming town and this great vacation home.

One word. AMAZING!

  • 5 of 5

The house was beautifully decorated and clean with a great location. It was the perfect setup for 2 couples traveling together. We walked to the plaza daily for coffee, drinks, dinner. A few of our faves were Hopmonk and Sonoma Grill (Lobster Rissotto was amazing). Valerie was a great host, a call or text away, but set everything up so well we didn't need anything. We also used their tour service, California Wine Tours. Our driver, Joe, was truly incredible. He was prompt, professional, and most of all FUN! We had a little time in our itinerary and he did a great job filling it with a stop at Chandon. I highly recommend the house and Californian Wine tours to anyone looking. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL home walking distance to Sonoma Square!

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful home is truly a top-notch remodeled, decorated, and equipped home. From bedrooms to bathrooms to kitchen to high-end amenities, we were truly impressed with this lovely home just 2 blocks walking distance from the Square. We stayed in 4 homes during our Northern California vacation and, by far, this was the most comfortable accommodations we stayed in. The home is located on Broadway St, which is a main road into town. I was a little worried about traffic noise but was pleasantly surprised to see first hand how quiet it was and especially enjoyed relaxing on the front porch each evening. The bicycles are also very nice and I took the opportunity to ride the hills North of the Square each morning. Thanks Mike & Valerie for a terrific stay; you have a beautiful home!!

We had a wonderful time staying in the bungalow! The house is perfect for 4 adults and is located so close to the Sonoma Plaza. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is perfect! Very relaxing sitting on the front porch with a glass of wine. Highly recommend staying at this cute bungalow!
