Tim and Lori Brown and their two sons, Tanner and Parker have lived in the Kerrville area for over 35 years. Both boys were baptised in the Guadalupe River and their ties to the river and the hills around it run deep.
Tim Brown purchased this house in 2005
This is one of the most beautiful stretches the Guadalupe has to offer and is extremely private.
Less than five minutes to Kerrville shopping, cinemas, theater, and golf
Upon arrival we were greeted by at least 20 deer lounging on the grounds, and one racoon. The home is very nice and clean. Te property is well taken care of. It was the most peaceful place I have been in a long time. We went with friends to just relax and enjoy the water and the quiet. The water area was great. We had a lot of fun fishing and tubing and watching the birds and deer. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get away and have some quiet time in a beautiful spot. I look forward to coming back and staying here in the near future. Thank you Brown Family for sharing such a special place with us!
Second time we have stayed at "The River House" just outside Kerrville on a lovely stretch of the Guadalupe. Fenced in porch was great, especially with a toddler. Plenty of space for family. Quiet. Relaxing.
the riverhouse was the perfect place for our large family to spend the Thanksgiving holiday. the home is very accommodating and the screened porch is so very relaxing. the river access was an easy walk for even the littlest kid. we are now planning to make this place our annual lodging place when we visit Kerrville.
We love the river house and we would like to reserve it for the James Avery Invitational Golf Tournament next year.
The river front is a lovely Hill Country classic. The house is spacious and everything worked. We had a good time canoeing and walking at Schreiner State Park, which is nearby. The side yard is a nice, sloping place for children to play.
This is the place for you if you like cleaning up dead crickets inside, cobwebs around the furniture in the living area, dirty kitchen utensils, peeling paint and an ugly outbuilding behind the house. This place has a lot of potential but it doesn't live up to it.
Very quiet setting on 12 acres with private river frontage but only minutes to Kerrville , 20 minutes to Bandera and 30 minutes to Fredericksburg
