This awesome Tarpon Pond is in the perfect location. Nestled in lush tropical landscaping in the Tarpon Pond neighborhood, it offers wonderful views to the 17th fairway of Ocean Winds and the marsh beyond. Deer, shore birds, egrets... wildlife surrounds you. And yet, you and your guests are less than a mile away from Seabrook's beautiful beaches and top notch amenities - Beach Club pools, dining at the Pelican Nest or Island House, or golf on the two Seabrook golf courses.

The cottage has been beautifully renovated. Enter into the combined living/dining rooms. An open floor plan with cathedral ceilings help create a relaxing space for your family and friends to gather. The living room has new furnishings, an HDTV with cable/DVD, and a lovely fireplace. The living/dining room open into the sun room. A wall of windows overlooks the golf course and allow filtered sunlight to brighten the home. There is a table for four - a great place to enjoy a cool afternoon drink - a sofa and another TV that can be used for games, watch DVDs, and a VCR. The small deck has chairs for relaxing outdoors. The galley kitchen has Silestone countertops and newer appliances. It is fully equipped with everything you need. There is a gas grill for your use too. Linens and towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels).

There are four bedrooms in this cottage. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, lovely furnishings and an en suite bath with a shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen sized bed and the third bedroom has two twins. They share a hall bath with a tub/shower and large Silestone vanity. The loft serves as the 4th bedroom and it has two twin beds

This cottage is .8 miles from Pelican Beach and 1.3 miles to the Beach Club pools, golf, and club dining. Amenity cards giving you access to the facilities of the Seabrook Island Club, are included in the rent. These cards give you access to the oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican's Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities except outdoor pool usage.

551 Tarpon Pond is a great cottage in a great location! It is a wonderful home to spend your vacation time with your family and friends!

We have three little girls, 2, 4 and 6. Being able to give them a wonderful vacation full of many lovely memories at an affordable price is amazing. We love having the option on the two pools, two different "types" of beach as well as Bohicket Marina. We also took one day and went to Splash Zone. This was the third Tarpon Pond cottage we stayed at in three years. It was by far the best kept and most comfortable!!! Thank you to Nancy and the owners. We said we found our forever vacation home.

Nice Cottage

Girls week with my sisters. Good location on golf course and near beach and pool. House was well equipped, very cozy and cute. We all enjoyed the sunroom and having our morning coffee on front deck. Very enjoyable vacation on Seabrook! Would stay at this cottage again.

The house is dirty and has bugs, but the owner is accommodating.

The house was dirty. It needs a deep clean. The furniture had stains and there was pet hair everywhere. Then, there was a bug infestation. Bugs crawled on us in the bed. We had to call the owner and I will say that she was very accommodating. She compensated us appropriately and sent someone in to clean (which didn't really do anything) and she sent an exterminator. If the place was bug free and had a deep clean, I would stay there again, but with the condition of it right now, I would not visit again.

Owner's Response: We are very glad you had a wonderful time - as you stated during our phone conversations. I am sorry for the bugs - we've had the exterminator out and the issue seems to have been taken care of. We have also spoke with the cleaning service so it has undergone a thorough cleaning. This is the first I've heard of the stains on the upholstery so we have scheduled a cleaning for it. We look forward to seeing you on Seabrook again.
