As a frequent VRBO customer, I highly recommend this property. The owners were extremely friendly and accomodating, the house was very clean, well stocked in the kitchen, and the views are spectacular.
This was a wonderful VRBO and the hosts are excellent. The hosts were very communicative and responsive to meesages at all times. The location of the vrbo is great and you can't ask for a better view. It was a great spot for our group of 10 to stay.
You will not regret staying here! Best host I've ever met! She was so very attentive and caring, truly heaven sent. The home is just as it shows but a bit better in person.
Jaida, you are absolutely a wonderful host. You made sure we had everything we needed, always checked up on us and most of all completely went above and beyond in general. You have a beautiful home and you made it warm and fuzzy for all of us to relax and enjoy. Thank you for letting us stay at your humble abode!

Awe! Thank you Violene for your comments & recommendation of Puget Sound Escape! We are so happy you all had a great stay & hope you make it back in the future! x
Absolutely incredible experience for a "home-base" while visiting Seattle for a few days. The resience was beautiful and spacious, and well-stocked with nearly enough articles and provisions for a week's stay without a grocery run! The deck and Master Suite overlook the Sound, and such a pleasant view to greet us every morning! We especially appreciated the gated side yard for dog use and security. The host (Jaida) was VERY courteous and accommodating, and even left a note and arrival greetings with edible gifts! Without question, we loved our stay and would DEFINITELY đź’Ż recommend; we wish we could have stayed longer.
The house was perfect for my family. We fell at home right away. It was comfy. Lots of towels and linens . The pantry was complete, though we don’t know this, we bought our needs before we arrived. We used the grill, perfect for our last day of stay. We really enjoyed our stay. We will come back if we come this way again. The host answer right away when we have questions.
This is a great property with an amazing view and plenty of room for two families. I was very impressed with all the stuff that came with it. Plenty of coffee and 2 coffee makers. Lots of dishes for entertaining. Great private location and we used the hot tub every night. The host even provided a s'mores kit for the kids. There are 2 BBQs which we used extensively on a huge deck. There is also a fire pit with firewood. We all had a fabulous time!

Spacious and relaxing!
Just a few days before my wedding, the rental I'd lined up for my East coast family (my two parents, aunt, and cousin) decided to cancel without warning. After a frantic 24 hour search for replacement lodging, I found Puget Sound Escape and Jaida...both were a lovely breath of fresh air! Jaida was extremely friendly, accommodating, and communicative throughout their stay. The huge deck has a wonderful view of Seattle across Puget Sound and Elliot Bay, and the house itself is tucked away on a quiet street but still very accessible by ferry and car. In fact, being carless (I'd loaned it to my folks), I was able to take the Fauntleroy Ferry over after work and get on a Kitsap County bus that dropped me off within easy walking distance of the house. My family also made the quick drive up to Bremerton to take that ferry to downtown Seattle...all very convenient.
The house is clean and big, with two different living rooms, both equipped with TVs (good for when people had different Netflix-ing inclinations). The beds were all very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with cooking equipment. The yard below the deck was also great...fully fenced if you're bringing a pup!
One of my favorite parts was the nearby town and boat launch/floating docks in Manchester...we own a boat, and were able to take my family out crabbing and drop them off at the docks at the end of the day, making their trip home with the fresh crab quick and easy (and charming).
Highly recommend Jaida and her lovely home away from home!
The house is beautiful as well as the view. We were welcomed to a bottle of wine and box of biscottis. Very sweet, we were celebrating my brother’s engagement.
There was Plenty of room for everyone. The rooms were nice and cozy. The kitchen was stocked with all that you may need. We enjoyed the Christmas touches. The hot tub and treadmill were an added bonus.
The view during the day was wonderful but the view at night was amazing! The city literally sparkles.
Jaida was attentive although we didn’t need anything. Overall a great stay, especially for our first time in Washington.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house has many renovations and more amenities than one deserves. The people of Manchester were also very friendly.
So many things to do within driving range and especially nice to have a good boat ramp so close. Highly recommend.
Jaida was a gracious host!
We had a great stay. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some goodies. The house is cozy with a beautiful view of Puget Sound. Our favorite place was on the back deck…so relaxing. There is a fire pit for s’mores, corn hole, and a hot tub. Close by is a small little beach and cute little shops and great restaurants in Port Orchard and Bremerton. The only bummer was that the ferry schedule from Bremerton to Seattle didn’t fit our plans, so we ended up driving most of the time which isn’t the most convenient with traffic. Jaida was great with checking in to be sure we had what we needed. Would definitely recommend!
My family and I came for the week to visit family who live in the area. The Puget Sound Escape house was just the right fit for our little group. The house was bright and spacious and the views of the sound and of Seattle were amazing! The owners of the property Jaida and Joel were very accommodating and made sure that our stay there was more than comfortable. The bottle of wine and pastries that they had waiting for us when we arrived was the perfect touch! We would definitely love to stay in this lovely house again the next time we visit Washington!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation in Port Orchard, WA. What an amazing view of Seattle in such a quiet, beautiful and peaceful home. The owners were so kind and helpful! We were greeted with a bottle of wine and all the supplies for S’mores. The beds were so comfortable! Two living rooms helped with the different interests of the family. Nice patio, patio table and lounge chairs. Lots of room in the backyard with fresh blackberries galore… Peacocks visited as well as bunnies. Lots of trails and parks nearby, and fun bar around the corner. We’re excited the owners are planning on adding air conditioning as well as a hot tub. Hope to get back soon!

Fantastic Getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Puget Sound Escape. 5 comfortable bedrooms for us to spread out - plus 2 separate living spaces. The kitchen is very well stocked with the most breathtaking view of the sound and Seattle. The little town of Manchester is very quaint but with close access to all of the amenities of Port Orchard. I highly recommend this property and the property owner, Jaida, was very responsive and helpful!

Dream home with excellent location
My family came in from Minnesota and we didn't have room at my place and we found this nice place with excellent accommodations. The views were excellent and the place was very roomy and five star. I would recommend it to all with larger groups.
