There is ample room for two families, three couples, or several generations! We are a perfect meeting ground. While IN Georgia, NC, SC, and Tennessee are all just around the corner. We are exactly two hours from Atlanta, and the drive takes you through the farm valleys around Clayton, but not around any hair pin turns. The driveway is paved and easy to negotiate.
We are in the gorgeous Persimmon Valley and our home is bordered by National Forest. Enjoy seclusion AND access to great shops and restaurants! The Tallulah River and the Coleman Rivers flank us, the excellent Lake Burton grocery and Persimmon farm to table dining are down the road. This is no gated golf course community, but a private getaway. Rest in seclusion in the hammock, or hike to the creek down the hill. Then head over to the marina, or the golf course just minutes away. Swim in Lake Burton or in the emerald pools of Tallulah Gorge.
The Appalachian Trail and Moccasin Creek State park lie to the west, while Black Rock Mountain State Park, Clayton and Highlands lie in the other direction.
Our beautiful home is a great place to recharge. It is not an old rough cabin, but a new roomy fully equipped home. Spoil yourself with comfort; step outside for as much nature as you can handle!
You are not going to find the location and the luxury for this price anywhere else. Everything you need is here. Secluded and private but fifteen minutes away from the shops, restaurants and groceries of downtown Clayton.
