The view was the number one feature of this house.Derek was the best host, when we found out the Grillwas rusted and not usable he got us a grill and brought it up the mountain the same day and saved our dinner.

Saturday morning there was a power outage, Derek was texting me at 6:15 to let me know what was going on. Every time I sent him a text he responded within minutes. The view is wonderful, the best thing is the peace and quiet. I have a special needs son, it’s noisy in my house, I so enjoyed the quiet time away. Thanks Derek for a wonderful respite. I’ll be back as soon as I can!

The view and cabin held up to the listing! My family and I enjoyed our stay. The only issue I had was entering the cabin on the first night. It was hard to see it was a keypad entry in the dark, but once I pressed the pad the numbers lit up.

We had an amazing time at this cabin! The road leading up was paved, so it was easy to get to, and the view was absolutely astonishing. The cabin had everything we needed and more, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. We traveled with our 1.5 year old, and the gate at the top of the stairs gave us great peace of mind. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!

I do not regret staying here!

A beautiful secluded cabin with a beautiful view. Only 5 minutes from the town of Clayton. Cabin came with practically everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The jet tub, fireplace, and video games were also nice to have! My family and I really enjoyed our stay. If we come back to this area we would definitely stay here again!

The view is fabulous, older home but had everything we needed. I was not opening the door correctly called and Derek answered my call right away and told me what I was doing wrong! He is very nice and friendly. We plan to go back next year, I love the area as my ancestors are Vandivers and Pooles.
