Experience KaMilo at its finest! Enter through the luxurious front entrance to KaMilo 301 and you are immediately taken in by the sense of serenity and lushness of your surroundings, as your gaze is directed towards the 25-foot pocket doors that open up the main lanai to the interior. Once you set foot on the lanai, the 270 degree golf course view with ocean and mountain views in the distance assure you that you have indeed arrived in paradise. So come in, and relax with a tropical drink as you take the tour through what will be your home for the duration of your Big Island Getaway!

The main level of the split level home features a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, large kitchen island with bar seating, and a connected dining area with seating for 6. The living room boasts a 55-inch LED LCD flatscreen TV hooked up to surround sound speakers for a better viewing experience. The main level lanai has additional seating, as well as a BBQ grill for those nights when you want to cook up some fresh island fish from the Kawaihae Fish Market, or perhaps some grass-fed Big Island steaks!

A guest bedroom located on the main level is perfect for those who don't handle stairs so well, and with access to the full bathroom with walk-in shower also on the main level, they're all set.

Going down the stairs, you arrive at the family room/den, with another flatscreen TV. You can access the pool deck from here, where the 'spool' awaits. A combination spa and pool, this unique water feature is the perfect complement to your tropical vacation, with a jetted seating area and a fountain.

The master bedroom features a Cal-king sized Tempur-Pedic bed with matching end tables and dresser, high ceilings, and an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub which looks out to the golf course, and a walk-in shower, as well as a separate toilet, dual sinks, and a large walk-in closet.

A third bedroom towards the back also boasts a Cal-king Tempur-Pedic bed, and features a private lanai with a sitting area, just right for reading the paper in the morning with a cup of Kona coffee. An adjoining full bathroom with a tub/shower combo services this bedroom as well as the downstairs den.

Great Stay in Kamilo

Another great stay. This time we were in unit 301, great space for four people. The house is very comfortable and clean. My only suggestions would be when larger parties are staying to have access to have few more lounge chairs by the pool and perhaps a table for the upstairs deck since it is so great to eat outside. We have stayed at two properties that Live Aloha manages and they have been great!!

Great house for your Big Island stay

We had a wonderful 6 night stay at Kamilo 301. The home is beautiful, clean, spacious, and well equipped. The pool at the house was perfect for our kids. Since we have young children, we cooked dinner each night, and used the bbq on the lanai, which was a great place to watch the sunset. James (property manager) was really helpful, responsive, pleasant, and accommodated our requests. We also really enjoyed having access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club, and the shared pools (family pool and adult/lap pool) in the complex. Family pool is a close walk from the house. Location was also great, as the house is a short drive from many beautiful beaches, and close to Mauna Lani shops, grocery, etc. We also rented a golf (GEM) cart for a few days which was a fun and easy way to get around with our family. We would definitely come back!

Gorgeous, Spacious, Awesome!

My family and I had an awesome stay at this house. It was clean & spacious, with gorgeous views, very close to beach and activities, in a safe, gated community. We enjoyed the private pool as well as the balcony. Kai and his team were super responsive whenever we had questions or needed anything. Can't wait to go back and stay here again!

Great home for multiple family vacation

We had the pleasure of staying in this home 3/24/17-3/31/17 with another family (4 adults and 3 children) and we absolutely loved the layout and the location! The upstairs kitchen/living area was very spacious and where we spent a lot of time and the layout of the bedrooms provided plenty of privacy (the 2 downstairs were far enough apart that we forgot someone else was staying with us!). Plus the pull out sofa had a super-comfortable Tempur-Pedic mattress so it was perfect for our teenage son. The pool in the backyard kept the little kids entertained as well when the adults needed a little down time. And don't worry about buying anything for the beach as there were plenty of boogie boards, sand toys, chairs, woven mats to use in the garage as well as a cooler. Kai also arranged for golf cart rentals for our families which made it fun to zip down to the Farmland Fresh grocery store or to the Fairmont beach to view the sunset. And it's very easy to get to the many awesome beaches and shopping/restaurants nearby from this house by car, too. We would highly recommend renting this house especially if you're looking at condos as a comparison...nothing like having your own private house with a pool.

Stylish and comfortable! Great location!

A quality property with only a few hiccups making it actually 4 1/2 stars. The house itself is very attractive with an ideal location in Kamilo. Being on the corner makes it private and gives it a lovely view over the golf course. Loved that we could hear the ocean. Comfortably furnished inside and out. Enjoyed sitting on the upper deck in the morning and at sunset. The pool was small but refreshing. We wondered if the owner has a cat as the end of the main floor sofa is badly scratched and in need of repair or replacement. That said, we just covered it with a throw and a pillow and that did the trick! Lots of towels including plenty for the pool and beach. A good selection of toys in the garage - pool noodles, snorkel gear, 2 bikes, beach chairs, cooler etc. Even 2 stand up paddleboards but we couldn't figure how to get them to the water. We would have appreciated a few basic cleaning supplies (which we've found in other vrbo properties). Will we consider a return to this property? Definitely!
