Overview

About the property

2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom (Sleeps 5)

Get away from it all and relax at our beach house that has been in the family for over 90 years! 100 feet of low-bank waterfront north of Suquamish near the entrance to Miller Bay.

Unbelievable views of Puget Sound from this secluded private retreat. Perfect for beach combing (up to 250 yards exposed at low tide), wildlife viewing (bald eagles and dozens of blue herons are regulars), or just relaxing in the hot tub.

With vaulted ceilings and large windows with expansive views, this cozy cabin has character at every corner and feels much bigger than it's listed square footage.

Upgrades like heated tile floors in the bathroom and a wonderful wood stove will make sure you have an amazing time even if the northwest weather doesn't cooperate.

Check-in 4:00 PM, Check-out 11:00 AM

***Winter update: Please be aware our bulkhead has sustained some damage and erosion with this winter's storms. It doesn't affect the firepit area or enjoyment of the house/yard/beach - we just want renters to be aware when booking this winter!

About Paul Saxton

We are both born and raised in the Seattle area. We continue to call the Northwest home and love all it has to offer. We enjoy very active lifestyles and can regularly be found cycling, running, hiking, or snowshoeing just to name a few.

Paul Saxton purchased this house in 2006

Why Paul Saxton chose Puget Sound North

This property just north of Suquamish has been in the family since the early 1920's. The current cabin was built in 1962, and we've been steadily making improvements while maintaining its original character and charm. Our family has generations of memories here and we love being able to share this special place with family and friends.

Fantastic Weekend Getaway

  • 5 of 5

A cozy little cottage perfect for a weekend getaway. The kids had a blast looking for shells and crabs on the beach. The hot tub and fire pit were also a huge hit. The owners were very attentive and responsive from beginning to end and the vibe of the place felt much more like "staying at a friends cabin for the weekend" than a rental.

Great second stay in the beach cottage!

This is the second time we have done a girls weekend here and we love it! The cabin is perfect. Simple, comfortable, cozy and inviting. The sunrises are spectacular and the hot tub is awesome!

Great Getaway with Amazing View!!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed the couple days we had at this lovely small cottage with spectacular views. I imagine the view is even better in the summer when the weather is a little better and warmer. But that didn't stop us from getting up early to watch the sunrise over downtown Seattle and Mt Rainier in the distance. The house was well equipped with all the necessary supplies for cooking. I highly recommend doing your grocery shopping at Central Market in Poulsbo.

The view was amazing

  • 5 of 5

Parking was a little hard and we did not see house numbers. With dealing with the crazy driveway and worried about the neighbors. There was no line in the asphalt. I think two parking signs on post and a house number on the signs would be nice.

Tranquil waterfront retreat!

  • 5 of 5

Had a relaxing time at the beach house. Views and hot tub were the highlights. House has everything one could need. Even has a high chair and pac 'n play for little ones. Space was perfect for our family of three. Looking forward to enjoying the outdoor space during the warmer months.

Great beach house

  • 4 of 5

It was a perfect spot for our family get away just before Christmas. It's a lovely location to watch the sunrise and sunset. The hot tub and the kayaks gave us a lot to do with our kids. Just a warning if you stay in the winter, it is a pretty chilly house. The thermostat never registered above 61F and that was pretty cold for indoors. Luckily we found some fire wood and it stayed cozy when we had a fire going. That's my only complaint. The house is well stocked but if you like to play board games, bring your own. I think it would be a super fun place to stay in the summer. Great views. Peaceful. Charming. I would recommend the beach house.
