We really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect relaxing getaway. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch in the mornings, reading books in the loft, and sweating in the sauna. It was a perfect cabin for the two of us, but would also be great size for a family, with the bedroom in the basement, and sofa in the loft. We would love to come back and stay here again.
Kitchen was very well supplied. Only issue we had was very poor lighting in the kitchen so hard to read buttons on coffee pot and microwave.

Thank you for your review and for the kind words about the kitchen amenities. I’m not sure if it was apparent during your stay, but the kitchen lighting is actually on a dimmer switch. We’ll print a label for future guests for awareness.
The cabin was clean, property was stunning, and the host was an excellent communicator. I would definitely book this cabin again— we were so impressed!
The space is great for families. Lots of space to spread out. Kitchen was easy to cook meals for large groups. It was quiet and peaceful.

Awesome cabin!
Looks exactly like the pictures! Furniture and beds are very comfy. Kitchen was well appointed with nice knives and even baking dishes. The sauna was a hit!We just had to walk down a small hill to really be in nature and see where the beavers were working. The owner was VERY responsive and helpful! Fabulous get away!
This is a very nice cabin. The owners have been thoughtful about the amenities visitors would need.
We had a really great long weekend in Fairplay. We hiked Beavercreek and Pika Trail. We had lunch at Salado and ice cream at silver spoon in Fairplay. The stargazing is great here! Weather was amazing for our stay. Absolutely perfect!
Awesome home and great location. We hated to leave. Wish we could have stayed longer. The weather was the only discourage event. The only criticism would be the road to the home was very rough and the shower units need antiskid mats or tape. When the floor got wet, it was very slippery.

Dream Cabin!
I chose this cabin for a girl's getaway and I can genuinely say we all fell in LOVE by the weekend's end. The owners truly have a vision for the hygge style of decor, and it shows. Some stand-out highlights: using the wood-burning sauna in the snow, a very serene nature walk to the Beaver Creek Trail, rocking on the porch swing, and cooking in. Honorable mentions: the level of cleanliness, incredible attention to detail, and ample supply of board games and firewood. If you are seeking a peaceful, idyllic mountain setting that looks straight out of a postcard, the Ski Doo is for you!

Fantastic Cabin
My family had a great stay at the cabin in Fairplay. The cabin is actually remote about 10-12 minutes outside of the small community of Fairplay, Colorado. For those wanting a remote adventure at over 10,000 feet, this is the place for you. The cabin is well stocked! The beds are very comfortable. The home is recently renovated and the decor is amazing! We had a great time hiking, sightseeing, playing games, cooking, making fires in the wood stove and hanging out with the family. We highly recommend the restaurant Salado in town. We would like to come back and experience this fantastic property again!

Excellent!!!
Amazing father/daughter trip to Fairplay for hiking and quality time. The cabin has everything you would want!! Great space. Excellent scenery. We saw moose and elk within walking distance of the cabin.
Furniture was comfortable. Bedding was great. WiFi was sufficient for our needs, including Netflix at night. The kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with owner was great and prompt.
We will be back. Thank you!!!
Our family had a wonderful time "getting away from it all" at the cabin in Fairplay. The cabin is somewhat remote. We enjoyed slowing down and getting away from it all. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. It is well-stocked and all the rooms (including beds) are comfortable and beautiful. The Beaver Creek trail (a top rated hike on All Trails) is within walking distance of the cabin. The small town of Fairplay is quaint and fun. Salado (a restaurant) is highly recommended. We spent time relaxing, walking, hiking, playing games, making a fire in the wood stove and visiting with our family! Shane was great to work with and we had a great time! Definitely want to come back one day!

4th of July in Fairplay
This cabin was perfect for our group of 4. We flew into Colorado Springs, stocked up on food and supplies and headed to the cabin. It’s an easy drive and even the unpaved 2 miles to the cabin was fine. Entry was incredibly easy and they had the cabin ready for us early. We planned all breakfasts at the cabin and cooked most dinners there as well. Plenty of pans, utensils and plates. Large fridge, ice trays provided, nice sized pantry. They provided salt and pepper. If you plan to cook, bring a small bottle of oil and other seasonings. Beds were very comfortable with nice linens. They provided an oscillating fan which we used just for air movement and white noise for sleeping. It’s quiet out there!Bathroom space was sufficient. Nice showers and body wash , shampoo and conditioner provided. They get you started with two rolls of toilet paper. We were there 7 nights so we picked up extra for our stay. Nice bath towels and dark wash cloths for makeup removal. We used the sauna several times. It was a relaxing experience for us and definitely a perk of the cabin along with the front porch swing and two rocking chairs. We came from Texas and hestitated about no air conditioning in July, but the cabin stays cool. We had to use the heater a few times! WiFi was fast enough to stream a movie. We did day trips to Aspen, Breckenridge and Vail. All with different scenery on the way. It’s quiet, semi private— you will see neighbors from the porch. We saw squirrels, chipmunks and moose. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Great holiday stay
This cozy cabin provided for our family to be together under one roof and enjoy the quiet setting and comfortable decor. It had everything we needed for our two night stay and we hope to return!
Thank you for making this experience so easy and for communicating well.
We loved our time at the Ski Doo cabin!
The cabin was spotless when we stepped in. The bedding is so comfy and inviting. The decor is welcoming and chic. And the touches of having quality wine and cocktail glasses is so nice.
When we travel we like to explore during the day and then come home and cook. The kitchen was the best stocked with cutting boards, good knives and quality cookware we have ever stayed in.
And our host was quick to reply and provided us with all the information we needed!
We loved our time here and hope to be back soon!

Colorado Cabin Weekend Vacation
Cabin was very spacious for 4 adults and one child. Very comfortable living space and beds. We enjoyed the town and hike on Beaver Creek Trail. Also enjoyed the scenery, clean mountain air, and cocktails on the porch!
This cabin was perfect for our family and exactly what we had hoped for. Everything was clean and the owner was quick to respond to questions and communicative. I appreciated the privacy the location provided and the trails nearby were beautiful. We will definitely stay here again!
