About this property

God's Country Cabins- Hope I Recently Built

Come, sit, and relax on the porch of one of our newly built cabins. Take in the fresh air and enjoy the countryside views, wildlife, farm animals, and breathtaking sunsets. Our four cabins, Faith, Hope, Mercy, and Grace, each feature their own rustic/elegant style and charm. All the cabins sleep two on a king sized bed with luxurious sheets and bedding, while the bathrooms each feature a large shower and copper sink.

The kitchen has a full sized refrigerator and microwave oven along with a full size coffee maker with teas and other goodies.

We have a beautiful gazebo outside in the common area with a charcoal grill and a large table to gather around and enjoy the country life. Don't forget to bring charcoal and something to grill!

Our cabin, Hope, has an outdoor shower to enjoy along with a private deck with lounge chairs in the back to sit and relax. The stars are amazing at night from this deck view. THIS OPTION IS ONLY FOR HOPE GUESTS!

We are out in the country but only 6 miles from Fredericksburg where you can walk down Main Street, shop, eat wonderful food, check out the wineries, or even learn a bit of history at the Admiral Nimitz museum. Marktplatz on Main St. is where most of Fredericksburg's sought-after events take place.

Great property!

My daughter and I stayed at Hope cabin. We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and cute. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and the back porch. The bed was large and comfortable. When we stayed we were only ones on property and it was so quit and peaceful. The property was the perfect distance for peacefulness and a good distance from everything we wanted to see in do in the area. We would stay on property in the future.

Everything you need!

Booked last minute and this was our first stay here. We were very happy with the both the cabin, the surroundings and the proximity to Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. There are multiple cabins in the compound and this would be the perfect location for several couples planning to visit the area but who don't want to share a multi-room house. Everything was clean and functional. We stayed in the Hope cabin which I gather is the smallest but we never felt cramped for space. The view out the back patio was very nice and while we never used the outdoor shower, it is a neat addition to the cabin for sure. Access was super easy and the directions were easy to follow. We had a good rainstorm while we were there and sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs listening to the rain on the tin roof was very relaxing. We've stayed at quite a few places in the area and God's country is definitely a standout!

Awesome Place To Stay!

My wife and I stayed here in the Hope cabin for her birthday getaway. The cabin was clean, newly built and cozy. Our host left us fresh baked cookies as a welcome gift and were readily available when we needed them. I recommend God's Country Cabins to everyone! We can't wait to stay again.

I enjoyed my time at Hope cabin. The facility was very nice and loved sitting out on the porch. A side benefit was the stargazing too! Perfect place to go unwind and close proximity to the Lady Bird golf course. Even enjoyed the herd of deer as I was leaving.

Close to Fredericksburg but still in the country

This little cabin was perfect for our getaway to Fredericksburg. You feel like you are in the middle of the country but Fredericksburg and the wineries are an easy drive. The owners and hosts are wonderful and go out of their way to answer your questions. We will definitely stay here again.

God's Cabins - Hope

The property and cabin was very nice for a short weekend getaway. Perfect for 2 people. Basic amenities and the outdoor shower was relaxing. We would definitely stay again. If you are wanting to stay longer then make note there are no closets for clothes or a cooktop for meals.
