Located on Bloomfield Street, just one block off Hoboken's bustling 'Main Street' with lots of restaurants and shopping. Walk to ALL. Easy walk to NYC Ferry, Subway, or bus (one block away). Hudson river just several blocks away, with river park and incredible Manhattan views. Supermarket is a 5 minute walk.
Quiet top floor unit just 2 flights up, with lots of windows (seven) and light in non-smoking and no-pet building. Hardwood floors throughout. Master bedroom has queen size bed. Additional small bedroom has a full size bed. Also a sleeper sofa in living room. Dining table has 3 chairs but next to couch is a coffee table that can seat an additional 2-3 people. Please note there is one bathroom, with access from master bedroom.
Owner has multiple buildings and units in Hoboken, all professionally maintained, managed, and cleaned (apartment cleaned by cleaning service and sheets and linens professionally drycleaned)---for over 10+ years. Best locations and rates!!!
ADVISORY: There are some rentals on VRBO that may not be legally allowed and your reservation could be cancelled even if you book and you could even be kicked out as a guest, as discussed further below---please consider the following information in your decision process. Different from many of the other VRBO listings, our vacation units are in buildings that we fully OWN and we have the authority to allow any of our units to be rented as a vacation rental and we have set aside a number of such units for that purpose, and which contain only furnishings and no personal items (for example: clothes, medications, razors on the bathtub, etc). In addition, we have discovered some listings which say 'Hoboken' but are actually elsewhere, like Jersey City. We have heard 'horror stories' from some of our guests about other Hoboken rentals, like: 1) a guest reported their Hoboken reservation was cancelled because they had contracted with a tenant of an apartment, and the landlord found out their tenant was in violation of their lease which did not permit subletting, 2) a guest booked and then the owner had to cancel the reservation because it was one unit in a condo building, and the association cracked down as continual short term rentals were not allowed in the bylaws, 3) some guests had told us their children had discovered pornography in their last Hoboken rental which was normally somebody's residence which contained all their personal effects. Ask WHO you are renting from: 1) a tenant in an apartment, that may likely be subletting in violation of their lease, 2) a condo owner, which is subject to rules of the association which can potentially bar short-term rentals, or 3) an owner of the building and all the units. We own our buildings and are the most legitimate party to secure your vacation rental and have offered six such units in Hoboken for over 10 years.

We own entire buildings, unlike other VRBOs, so you do not have the risk of having your reservation cancelled because the owner or tenant of one unit is not allowed to rent their unit on a short-term basis.
HKR Management was friendly, professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Dealing with new apartments can be a daunting process, but they really took the edge off everything and made staying in affordable, corporate housing an easy task. The apartment was well-furnished and made living in Hoboken a pleasure; the rent was also very reasonable. I would certainly work with HKR management again.

The reasonably prized apartement wasn´t expected to offer luxury, and it does not. You have to climb a steep stair, not easy with heavy trolley. We stayed 4 very hot summer weeks, and the air conditionong worked well as did the WLAN in the apartment.
We received the apartment clean with fresh linen and towels. But all of the tableware was sticky and had to be recleaned before using.
Shops and restaurants are very close. Nevertheless the apartment was calm in the night.
Good location for Hoboken, a 30 min walk to PATH or a 20 min walk to the ferry boat for Manhattan.
We enjoyed our stay and will come back.
One wish to the owner: install a reading light at the bed!
Hardy is a very nice host, spending time explaining detail of the direction going to the place. He also helped figure out an outrage from WIFI router when i just arrived.
The apartment is spacious but can be cleaner. It needs some minor work to make a more comfortable stay.
When I first saw the listing I thought it was too good to be true or that the property wasn't actually in Hoboken. Its in a great Hoboken location and walkable to everything and is just off Washington Street. The apartment was furnished comfortably. I have stayed in other VRBOs and one of my big concerns is cleanliness. I arrived a little early and there was a professional cleaning crew doing a great job cleaning the unit. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that all the sheets and linens were delivered from the drycleaner in the building. This was a class act operation, and I would most definitely stay here again.
When I called the owner to reserve the unit, I discovered the owner was the same as another VRBO unit that we stayed in Hoboken several years ago, where we had a great stay, and experience with the owner. I immediately had comfort in renting the unit, even though it was sight unseen. The owner's appear to be real estate professionals and make the whole process very easy. For example, after flying to Newark airport after a two hour delay, we just showed up at the building and walked around the building to a storefront to pick up the keys and drop off the rent.
The apartment was very clean when we arrived (and everything was in working order). The master bedroom was quite large (compared to other places I have stayed) and had a very comfy queen bed. We are a family of four, with two girls aged 7 and 10. The girls slept in the other bedroom which was quite small, but had two windows and was completely functional as it had a full size bed and plenty of drawer space. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, dishes, glasses, etc, although we mostly ate out. The only noteworthy tip about the apartment itself is that the bathroom is located off the master bedroom, although for me it was a convenience.
The apartment was also very quiet. With two young girls, that was important to me. The apartment itself is on the top floor, two flights up, so we didn't have to hear any people walking above us and it only appeared to be connected to one building, where we didn't here a peep. There was only one other apartment in the building, beneath us, and during our stay we didn't even see or hear them.
A huge plus of the apartment is its location. One of my favorite restaurants Margharitas is just one block away, bus stop to NYC is a block away, the supermarket was about a 5 min walk from the apartment, the Hudson river parks very close by, and Washington St with all the shops is right there. We also walked to the subway.
We would definitely stay there again. The bottom line is that the apartment is in a superb location, and you get the comfort of a "home away from home", and its priced reasonably considering the proximity to NYC and comparing to hotels. The kids also loved Hoboken, the playgrounds, restaurants, the ice cream places (check out 16 Handles!!) and seems like they would have been content not even going into Manhattan.
Manhattan 'Next Door'!!! Bus Stop is one block away and takes just about 10 minutes to get to Time Square bus stop.
