It was my wife and I and 5 relatives who could not stop talking about how much they loved the place. Super comfortable, quiet, with everything we needed to hang out and cook a few meals. Highly recommended.

This was our 5th time that we have stayed at Moose Manor and as always everything was perfect. My kids and granddaughters love the property and start asking me every spring "when are we going to Moose Manor!!!!".

This place is absolutely fantastic! More room than we anticipated everyone was completely comfortable. Everything on hand that we needed. Our grandchildren live in Westcliffe 13 miles from this property and they were very impressed by moose manor! We will be returning soon!! They thought they were in a luxury hotel!!

Beautiful family retreat with plenty of space for our family of 6 (4adults & 2preteens) to spread out. Everyone had their own room and there were comfortably furnished living rooms both upstairs and down. Fabulous kitchen with bar seating and adjoining spacious dining room with a table to seat more than the 6 in our group. The decks in front and off the dining area provided a picturesque view for sunrise coffee and evening cocktails. While our itinerary included only a day at Mission Wolf, the host had thoughtfully provided information on numerous other attractions complete with driving instructions. We can’t wait to return for an extended stay. Highly recommend this property for a very comfortable “wilderness” experience!

Home Away from Home

It's obvious the owner cares about the quality of their guest's stay because there was nothing left to chance. Everything we wanted was right at our finger tips. Literally everything. It was a relaxing, fantastic experience and we're looking forward to a return visit in the future. Our only comment -- DSL Internet is terrible. We're a tech heavy family and only one of us to connect to the wireless and browse at a time. Please consider Starlink - it's a game changer in rural areas. ;)

Beautiful home and scenery!

We rented this home to attend a family wedding in Westcliffe. The home was large, clean, well-stocked, and beautiful! Our group included ages from 9 months to 58 years. There was plenty of room for all of us. Having 3 1/2 baths was very convenient. and perfect for our group. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and swing just enjoying the view. It is conveniently located. It was a short 20 minute drive to Three Peaks Ranch, where the wedding was held, and only 15 minutes from the town of Westcliffe. The owners answered all of our many questions before the trip and check-in and out couldn't be easier. We would definitely recommend this home!

We loved our stay here at Moose Manor! It was the perfect staging place for our family to prepare and then to relax after our son's wedding at Three Peaks Ranch. It was spacious, well stocked, clean, comfortable and so inviting for all!

Nice Mountain Home close to Town

Very nice accomodations and view from main floor. Even 8 Doe Elk grazed through near the house early Thanksgiving morning. Enjoyed our Thanksgiving getaway.

We loved every minute staying there.

Everything is beautiful and set in wonderful place. We are thinking about renting again next year. Close enough to whitewater, horseback riding, sand dunes sledding, hiking and fishing.

Beautiful lodge in Rosita

Pictures do not do this property justice! It is beautiful, from the sweeping mountain views from the many large windows, to the upscale kitchen and finishes, everything was as perfect as it could be. Our family made a game out of counting the number of moose decorations/pictures in the house and the winner who came close was given a prize. The kids really enjoyed the whole experience!
