You'll also find trout in nearby mountain lakes, rivers and streams. Just a short drive away, the Arkansas River features some of the country's best white-water rafting. For golfers, there is St. Andrews in Westcliffe. Winter sports can be enjoyed on miles of cross-country ski and snowmobile trails. Monarch ski area is located within a 1½ hour drive. The climate is ideal - cool, clear and mostly dry in the winter, warm in the summer, and sunny nearly all year-round. Fall is most beautiful of all with the spun-gold aspens and the first snow crowning the big range.

This was our 3rd time staying at Moose Manor. It is an awesome property and Westcliffe is a beautiful area to explore. We will definitely go back again!!! Marino and Herrera families.
This is the 4th time that my family has stayed at Moose Manor and it was perfect in every way! The property is awesome and there are so many things to do in the Westcliffe area. My Grandkids are already asking when we can go back! Marino and Herrera family
We have family in the area and this is now our “go-to” home! Plenty of room for everyone! Wonderful location! Beautiful views! So peaceful!! We will be back again!! Thank you for an amazing stay!
Beautiful home and property! My family was in town for a family wedding and the location could not have been better. I would definitely recommend Moose Manner to anyone. Thank you for hosting us!
It's obvious the owner cares about the quality of their guest's stay because there was nothing left to chance. Everything we wanted was right at our finger tips. Literally everything. It was a relaxing, fantastic experience and we're looking forward to a return visit in the future. Our only comment -- DSL Internet is terrible. We're a tech heavy family and only one of us to connect to the wireless and browse at a time. Please consider Starlink - it's a game changer in rural areas. ;)
We rented this home to attend a family wedding in Westcliffe. The home was large, clean, well-stocked, and beautiful! Our group included ages from 9 months to 58 years. There was plenty of room for all of us. Having 3 1/2 baths was very convenient. and perfect for our group. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and swing just enjoying the view. It is conveniently located. It was a short 20 minute drive to Three Peaks Ranch, where the wedding was held, and only 15 minutes from the town of Westcliffe. The owners answered all of our many questions before the trip and check-in and out couldn't be easier. We would definitely recommend this home!
We loved our stay here at Moose Manor! It was the perfect staging place for our family to prepare and then to relax after our son's wedding at Three Peaks Ranch. It was spacious, well stocked, clean, comfortable and so inviting for all!
Very nice accomodations and view from main floor. Even 8 Doe Elk grazed through near the house early Thanksgiving morning. Enjoyed our Thanksgiving getaway.
Everything is beautiful and set in wonderful place. We are thinking about renting again next year. Close enough to whitewater, horseback riding, sand dunes sledding, hiking and fishing.
Pictures do not do this property justice! It is beautiful, from the sweeping mountain views from the many large windows, to the upscale kitchen and finishes, everything was as perfect as it could be. Our family made a game out of counting the number of moose decorations/pictures in the house and the winner who came close was given a prize. The kids really enjoyed the whole experience!
As reported by others, the photos do not do this home justice. The views of the mountains are incredible and the house is well equipment for staying in or venturing out. It is serenely solitary in its beautiful surroundings, but also a short drive to groceries, bars, and restaurants. I am already looking forward to a return visit.
This was an awesome place to stay. The pictures don’t do this place justice. We enjoyed everything about it and would definitely recommend and stay again!
So enjoyed this beautiful home and its property! Loved seeing the deer, the beautiful birds (many hummingbirds), and other
wildlife. The views from the deck are awesome! Alot of games for the family to enjoy. The Pantry/kitchen well stocked. Can't wait to go back another year!
We rented Moose Manor to celebrate our daughter's 16th birthday and visit friends. The house was great! Very comfortable and wonderful views to wake up to with morning coffee. The owners are wonderful and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!
Other than the downstairs heater not working , it was perfect!!

Glad you enjoyed your stay! Hopefully between the fire place and the space heater you were able to keep the basement cozy. The furnace is repaired and all is well.
The Moose Manor is a great, spacious home that easily accomodates 8. The kitchen was very well stocked! The master suit, 2nd living space and balcony allow individuals to sprawl out and come back together. It is a quick easy drive into town and to trailheads.

Why they chose this property
We have stayed in several vacation homes in Westcliffe where we enjoy riding the nearby ATV trails and fishing with our children and grandchildren. After making the decision to sell one of irrigated farms in the Arkansas Valley we purchased this home for our family to enjoy. Moose Manor is named in memory of our grandson Kent who was taken from us in auto accident on Thanksgiving 2016 at the age of 27. Kent loved everything Moose and we will always cherish the joy he brought to our family.
What makes this property unique
This secluded yet easy to get to mountain home has a well designed floor plan and spectacular views.
