If you’re looking for peace and quietness, this is the perfect property. This is a clean, well kept and well stocked property. We definitely plan to come back. My wife and I enjoyed watching a doe and her fawn grazing right off the back porch. The beautiful picture windows provide a wonderful view of the forest.
This place is awesome. We saw deer, turkeys, and a bobcat. The home has tons of kids toys which our two children thoroughly enjoyed. It is a very secluded place. While it doesn’t really offer mountain views, it is so peaceful there and we look forward to hopefully returning sometime.
We loved our stay in this magical cabin in the mountains. Hosts were helpful and provided so many things that made it feel almost like staying in our own home!
This was our second stay here. We love the quiet and secluded area. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching hummingbirds and had a few deer pass through as well. We also enjoyed grilling and playing board games in the evenings. We like the location as we go to Salida, white water rafting and hit a few trails on the sxs. We will be back!
Nothing but superlatives to report about the cabin. Pete is an involved host, and we were at the cabin when the aspen fall colors were near peak. Warm autumn days with blue skies and a touch of snow on the higher peaks. Cabin is well appointed and the host has anticipated most every need. The instructions in the binder are straightforward. We felt at home right away. Cabin is sited about 10 miles from Westcliffe, and the route guidance is easy to follow. The Starlink wifi is robust even with several tablets using the internet. Ample bandwith.Easy drive back to Westcliffe to pick up additional groceries or anything wanted.Really glad we booked this place. The week flew by. Deer make the occasional visit. Didn't realize the deck was trimmed with fairy lights until midweek.
This is truly a magical cabin. The views from the windows are amazing. The feel is comfortable, calm and relaxing. Will definitely return! Thank you for an awesome stay.
Great location away from town and abundant wildlife in area. The cabin was very clean and had plenty of amenities. Great place to relax with family and friends.
Flawless mountain stay. Place was very well-stocked and exactly as described. No surprises, just solid all the way through. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
Really nice cabin in a fantastic location if you have a wedding at the Pines Ranch. Everything was clean and well maintained, we slept 6 people in the cabin easily.
We enjoyed our stay very much, just as we have our past trips here and will be back. Clean, comfortable, all of the amenities and quiet with an awesome hiking trail behind the cabin.
We had a great week at the cabin, was able to hike out of the back yard in the San Isabel national forest, watched deer, rabbits, turkeys and grouse all around the cabin and jack rabbits and pronghorn in the fields on the drive to town from the cabin. I highly recommend this cabin
